(USAF Ret.), 69, lost his courageous battle with cancer on April 6, 1999. His devoted wife of 29 years, Nancy and his loving daughter, Sue Hayes were at his side. He was loved and will be dearly missed by his son-in-law, Tom Hayes; grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew; sons, Robert Goodman and Jeff Bonneville; his many family and friends, and especially the 'GYC'. He was raised on a farm in Wisconsin until he had the chance to fly. He then served his country courageously as a fighter pilot for 20 years. It is here he met the love of his life and raised his family. He loved life and shared with so many. Bill loved flying, traveling the world with Nancy by motorhome and cruising. He delighted in arguing, gourmet cooking, fine wine, playing cribbage and 500, and spending time with his beloved family and countless friends. He was so very proud of all of us and he taught us all so much. Bill is now soaring with all of those who were released from their earthly bonds before him. He remains in our hearts and by our sides.
