NANCY JOSEPHINE MURRAY KRUPP was born on October 18, 1929 in Nogales, AZ to William Stephen and Mary Katherine Murray. Family history in this community dates back to the late 1800's when Nancy's grandfather, Papa Joseph Wise came west from Pennsylvania to find a new life. Once employed by Col. J.P. Sykes he eventually married
the boss's daughter, Lucia Sykes and the family history began.

She was very active in the Santa Cruz County Board of Directors serving as President, Secretary and Director, was a member of the Historical Society and continued to practice Real Estate, later opening Nogales Realty as owner and designated Broker. Nancy again married
a long-time and respected Nogales resident, Nils Krupp, in 1979 and they have continued to contribute to the Nogales community, specifically to their church, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, where Nancy was an active member volunteering many hours of her time towards her faith.
On September 18, 1999, after her battle with cancer, Nancy joined her Maker and many loved ones who preceded her in death, including her first husband, Henry C. Soto.

As a result of their love for God's land, they recently built a lovely home in the hills of Rio Rico where Nancy passed on peacefully with Nils, her children, grandchildren and sister at her bedside. Rev. Jean Rogers of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and Santa Cruz Hospice employee Irene S. were also present to provide care and comfort to Nancy and her family during her last hours. Special thanks go out to the many caring friends and family who have offered their service, love, support and prayers to Nancy and her family during the past several months, especially Mickie M. of Arizona Oncology Associates in Green Valley and Heidi O. of Nogales.
