I am looking for the parents of Ancil Overlin. Ancil was born May 28, 1827 in Kentucky and died September 28,1904 in Emporia, Lyon Co.,Kansas. Ancil said in the 1880 Census that his father was born in Kentucky and his mother in Virginia. Harriet Ticer(Minier) was his wife and I believe he was marriage to Nancy Kelly before Harriet. Ancil and Harriet had two children, Harry(married to Mattie Ray) and Halla/Hallie(married to J. L. Boggs.) My husband's line is Ancil, Harry, Tapley and Leslie. I have seen Ancil spelled Ansel and he used his initals, A. H.,also. I would like any information of Ancil and his family. Thanks.
