ESCONDIDO - Linda A. Dugeau, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, in Escondido.
Born May 15, 1913, in Cape Cod, Mass., she lived in Escondido. She was a motorcycle delivery driver in Los Angeles before retiring and the founder of Motor Maids of America, the first organization for women who ride motorcycles.
No service will be held at the request of the deceased. A private cremation was held.

Angeline Clauson, 86
CARLSBAD - Angeline L. Clauson, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in Illinois.
Born March 20, 1913, in Aurora, Ill., she lived in Carlsbad from 1975 to early February 2000. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a volunteer at the Carlsbad Senior Center during the 1980s.
Mrs. Clauson was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Clauson, in 1975. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Esther Clauson of Carlsbad; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Gerald Clancy of Illinois and Elaine and Jack Rohn of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4, at The Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Aurora.
Richard Koesterer, 75
OCEANSIDE - Richard John Koesterer, 75, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Sunbridge Convalescent Home.
Born Aug. 5, 1924, in Illinois, he lived in Oceanside for eight years. He was an artist for Kechen Advertising before retiring.
Mr. Koesterer is survived by his sons, Richard Koesterer Jr. of the Philippines; Christopher Koesterer of Perryville, Mo., and Kurt Koesterer of Sapington, Mo.; daughter Deborah Good of Oakland; sisters Audrey Schilling and Rosemary Francis Fisher, both of St. Louis, and Mildred Delaney of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No service will be held at the request of the deceased. A private cremation is planned with cremains to be returned to the family.

FALLBROOK - Mozart Maurice Maynard, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in Oceanside.
Born July 1, 1915, in Pawtucket, R.I., he lived in Fallbrook for 15 years. He was a paper cutter for E.A. Johnson Co. for 15 years, retiring in 1977. He attended Rhode Island School of Design and was a artist.
Mr. Maynard was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Leona Maynard, in 1986. He is survived by his sons, George Maynard of Vista and Maurice Maynard of Fallbrook; brother Paul Maynard of Virginia Beach, Va.; granddaughter Michelle Maynard of Boston; and great-grandson Tyler S. Brown of Boston.
A rosary was recited Thursday, Feb. 17, at Berry-Bell & Hall Chapel. A memorial Mass was celebrated Friday, Feb. 18, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bernie Rapp officiating. Inurnment took place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Rhode Island.

LAKE ELSINORE - Myna Christine Flournoy, 63, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000.
Born July 7, 1936, in Jane Lew, W.Va., she lived in Lake Elsinore for 15 years. She was a teacher at Linfield Christian High School for 20 years.
Mrs. Flournoy is survived by her husband, Jack Flournoy of Lake Elsinore; son William Flournoy of Jane Lew; daughters Deborah Manis of Perris, Linda McCarroll of Rutland, Vt., Yvonne Arroyo of Murrieta and Suzanna Flournoy of Lake Elsinore; brother Ted Allman of Kansas City, Mo.; sister Kathleen Allman of Jane Lew; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Feb. 29, at Trinity Chapel in Murrieta. Burial will take place in Jane Lew.

SUN CITY - Marjorie Theresa Lang, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, of cardiac arrest, at Menifee Valley Medical Center.
Born June 25, 1919, in Ogden, Utah, she lived in Sun City for 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church for 15 years. She was also a member of the Women's Guild Writer's Club and Sewing Group of Sun City.
Mrs. Lang is survived by her husband, Peter Lang of Sun City; sons Fred Lang of Torrance and John Lang of Alta Loma; daughters Rosemary Congdon of Rancho Mirage, Judy Parkinson of Montrose and Margaret Wilson of Hemet; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in Sun City.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.

Mrs. Foshay is survived by her husband, Kenneth Foshay of Canyon Lake; daughter Karen Monad of Costa Mesa; brother John Cyr of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sisters Adrian Anderson of Edgewater, Fla., and Elizabeth Pomeroy of Brookfield, Conn.; and one grandchild.

WILDOMAR ----Vivian Campbell, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, of cardiopulmonary arrest at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar.
Born Dec. 17, 1916, in Kansas City, Mo., she lived in Wildomar for 29 years. She did private duty nursing and worked at Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar. She also worked for Rancho California Inn before retiring and was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Merrit Temple and Nazareth White Shrine, all in Long Beach.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Ronald L. Petrus of Hesperia; daughters Shirley K. Petrus of Wildomar and Patricia A. Campbell of Fullerton; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 18, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress. A graveside service took place Saturday, Feb. 19, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Eastern Star No. 173 of Long Beach and family members officiating. Burial followed.

Born Jan. 18, 1934, in Menominee, Mich., she lived in Del Mar for 17 years. She was founder and president of O'Brien Communications, an advertising agency in Del Mar. She was a member of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the California Economic Development Department and the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. O'Brien is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry O'Brien of Del Mar; father Ray Raum of Cardiff; son and daughter-in-law Leo and Wendy O'Brien of San Antonio, Texas; daughters Kathleen O'Brien, Brenda O'Brien and Angela O'Brien, all of Del Mar; brother Mark Doyle of Carlsbad; and grandson Brendan Elliot O'Brien of San Antonio.

Dorothy Kohlars, 104
BARSTOW - Dorothy W. Kohlars, 104, died Monday, March 6, 2000, at the Barstow Veterans Home.
Born Aug. 22, 1895, in Hanover, Mass., she lived in Oceanside from 1963 to 1996. She graduated from Simmons College and New England Deaconess Hospital of Nursing in Boston in 1918 and joined the Army Nurse Corps, the last living female veteran who served in France during World War I. She received the French Legion of Honor award. She was also a nurse at Nogales, Ariz.
Mrs. Kohlars was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Kohlars, in 1970. She is survived by her niece, Margaret Wodtli; and a great-niece.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Oceanside Mortuary. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

ESCONDIDO - Hugh Daverson "Turner" Turner, 56, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, at his home.
Born April 22, 1943, in New Jersey, he lived in the North County area for 13 years. He served in salvage operations in the U.S. Navy in Santa Domingo for four years and was an electrician at the Veterans Administration Hospital in La Jolla. He was a member of the San Diego Astronomy Association and a volunteer for Future Farmers of America at the San Pasqual High School Chapter.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife of nine years, Theresa Turner of Escondido; sons Timothy James Turner and Robert Turner both of New Jersey; daughters Patricia Turner of New Jersey, Alicha Turner and Danielle Turner, both of Escondido; and brother Robert Turner of Encinitas.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at the Veterans Administration Hospital Chapel in La Jolla.

Born June 2, 1978, in Lakeside, he lived in Poway for 21 years. He was a 1996 graduate of Poway High School and worked for Ahern Rentals.
Mr. Jancic is survived by his mother and father, Sandy and Charlie Jancic; grandmothers Lois Vale and Ann Jancic of Helena, Mont.; sister Jill Jancic; friend Jolene Farish; uncles John Jancic and Jim Jancic; aunt and uncle Ginny and Jim Knott of Nevada City; and one cousin.

ESCONDIDO - Robert Deane Crosby, 81, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, of cancer, at his home.
Born June 29, 1918, in Portland, Maine, he lived in Escondido for 22 years. He worked for American Airlines and Crosby's German Car Service. He served in the Merchant Marines as a chief radio operator during World War II. He was a member of the Vista Church of Religious Science and the American Bowling Congress.
Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife of 35 years, June Crosby of Escondido; sons Mark Crosby of San Marcos, Wayne Crosby of New York, Donald Crosby of Oakland and Kenny Crosby of San Francisco; daughter Kathy Byrne of Escondido; brother Roger Crosby of Portland, Maine; and grandchildren Michael, Ryan, David, Kevin, Brandon, Nicholas, Corinne, Katy and Cristin.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Mary Lou Sargent officiating. Burial will take place at Green Hills Cemetery in Palos Verdes.
