Raul Padron Arroyos, 64, of Stockton died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 in a hospital. Arroyos was born April 22, 1938 in New Mexico. He was a mason for 10 years. Arroyos served in the Army.
Survivors: children, Soledad Arroyos of Oakley, Raul Arroyos Jr. and Rafael Arroyos of Antioch, Benjamin Arroyos of Woodland, Alfred Arroyos of Pittsburg; sisters, Maria A. Valenzuela of Stockton and Junie Becerra of French Camp; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Morris E. Baker

Morris Eugene Baker, 67, of Stockton died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 in a Washington hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1935 in Hazard, Ky. and was a Stockton resident since 1973 before moving to Port Orchard, Wash. seven years ago. Baker retired from the Army after being employed from 1953-73. He also retired after working 21 years for Loomis Armored Car Service in Stockton. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Baker was a member of Belfair Assembly of God in Port Orchard, Wash. and was a chaplain and life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 22. Baker was married for 48 years.
Survivors: wife, Jecquetta Baker of Port Orchard, Wash.; children, Shelia Gustavson of Folsom and Gary Baker of Stockton; siblings, Wilson Baker, Bronson Baker, Roy Baker and Raliegh Baker, all of Ohio, Ruby Begley, Suzanne Barns and Beuliah Baker, all of Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.

Marina S. Beltran, 80, of Stockton died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 in a hospital. Beltran was born Jan. 18, 1922 in New Mexico. She lived in Stockton for 79 years. Beltran was a homemaker.

Jerald R. Gogna, 55, of Stockton died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002 in a hospital. Gogna was born Oct. 27, 1946 and was a lifelong area resident. He was a foreman for El Dorado Chemical Company, Inc. for 12 years. Gogna served in the Navy.
Survivors: children, Jamie Rae Lynn Gogna and Gerald Gogna, both of Stockton; siblings, Sharon Tankersley, Caren Santillano, and William Gogna, all of Stockton; and five grandchildren.

Larry D. Hearne

Larry Dean Hearne, 66, of Stockton died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 in Culver City. Hearne was born Jan. 17, 1936 in North Carolina. He lived in Stockton for 12 years. Hearne was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He served for 20 years in the Air Force.
Survivors: wife, Margaret Hearne of Stockton; children, Jennifer Hearne of Hollywood and James Hearne of Valley Springs; siblings, Norman Hearne, Harold Hearne, Novella Roberson, all of North Carolina, Grady Hearne of Iowa, John Hearne of Sacramento, Edith Briggs of Tennessee and Robert Hearne of West Virginia; and two grandchildren.

Anna Keel, 82, of Stockton died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 at home. Keel was born Feb. 6, 1920 in North Dakota. She lived in Stockton for 51 years. Keel was a homemaker and worked in retail sales.
Survivors: children, James Keel of Fernley, Nev., Marilyn Goyette of Lodi and Sandra Hendrix of Woodland; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Joe "Blacky" Espinoza, 42, of Tracy died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 in a hospital. Espinoza was born Feb. 13, 1960 and was a lifelong Tracy resident. He served in the Marines.
