Services will be Saturday for Timothy Sean Crow, who died in April 23 Santa Cruz. He was 43.
Mr. Crow was a Santa Cruz County native who was raised in Felton. He graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School and attended Cabrillo College in Aptos; and was a produce clerk at Sunnyside Produce in Soquel for many years.
Mr. Crow played for Joe Marvin’s Cabrillo football team that went to the state championship game in 1979. He was a three sport athlete at San Lorenzo Valley High and a big San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan.
He is survived by sisters, Claudia Fugelseth of Capitola and Peggy Crow of Bend, Ore., and brother, Jerry Crow of Felton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Zayante Fire Department. Arrangements are by Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel.

Larry Michael Marklund
Services will be Saturday for Larry Michael Marklund, who died July 23 at his home in Scotts Valley. He was 55.
A native of Washington, Mr. Marklund had lived in the area for five years.
He earned a bachelor’s in English from the University of Washington and later taught English to inner-city children in Seattle.
He attended Valley Vineyard Church and was a former Safeway employee.
He enjoyed fishing, skiing, boating, golfing and writing poetry. He also was well known for his woodworking skills and often made canes and walking sticks to donate to the needy.
He is survived by a brother, Stephen Marklund of Minnesota; a sister, LoraLee Marklund of Colorado; and a niece, Marie Young of Nipomo.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Valley Vineyard Church, 224 Mount Hermon Road, Scotts Valley.
Arrangements are by the Santa Cruz Memorial Park Funeral Home.

James ‘Jimmy’ Yancy
Services will be Saturday for James "Jimmy" Yancy, who died from heart disease Monday in Santa Cruz. He was 57.
A native of Hazard, Ky., he had lived in Santa Cruz for many years.
He was a high school track and basketball star and worked as a carpet installer in Santa Cruz for 30 years. He was a longtime member of AA.
Mr. Yancy enjoyed karaoke singing and playing his guitar. His family and friends enjoyed hearing his many stories of his travels.
He is survived by daughters, Joanie of Indiana, Kristina of Arizona and Jodi of Florida; brothers Terry Yancy of Watsonville and Buddy Yancy of Vermont; sisters Jeanette Reichard of Dayton, Ohio, Peggy Knifley and Patricia Pratt, both of Lexington, Betty Ruth Ellington of Watsonville, and Gay Nell Watts of Cookville, Tenn.
His brothers Gene, Paul and Carl Yancy died before him.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Garfield Christian Church, 111 Errett Circle, Santa Cruz.
Arrangements are by Santa Cruz Memorial Park Chapel.

Kamran Mouzoon
Services will be Sunday for Kamran Mouzoon, who died from multiple myeloma July 21 at his sister’s home in Los Gatos. He was 52.
Mr. Mouzoon, a native of Iran and Scotts Valley resident for 15 years, was the founder and owner of Q-Zoo Amusement Center in Watsonville. His wife, Angela, owns and operates Angela’s Day Care of Scotts Valley. Previously, they owned the Galleria Yogurt of Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz.
Mr. Mouzoon enjoyed people, was devoted to his family and loved to travel, his family said.
He is survived by wife Angela of Scotts Valley; sons Cameron and Ben of Scotts Valley; daughter Katherine of Scotts Valley, mother Malek Tashvighi of Los Gatos; and sister Gloria Mosstaghimi of Los Gatos.
Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the B’ahai Center, 945 Willow St., San Jose.
Private Burial was at Santa Cruz Memorial Park. Santa Cruz Memorial Park & Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

William ‘Bill’ Yeazell
Services are today for William "Bill" Yeazell, who died Tuesday at his Santa Cruz home. He was 82.
A native of California, Mr. Yeazell had lived most of his life in the Santa Cruz area. He graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1938 and began working at Santa Cruz Land Title Co. at age 17. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy Seabees in 1942. Family members say that one of Mr. Yeazell’s fondest memories was seeing Bob Hope while stationed on the island of Mios Woendi, New Guinea.
After his discharge from the Navy he returned to Santa Cruz Land Title Co., retiring as manager in 1973.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of Stanford University teams and of the San Francisco Giants. Mr. Yeazell was a former member of the DeLaveaga Men’s Golf Club and was a master gardener supplying his friends and family with fresh vegetables each summer.
He is survived by wife of 58 years Betty Yeazell of Santa Cruz; daughter Judy McIntyre of Santa Cruz, and Janice Yeazell of San Jose; son David Yeazell of Eugene, Ore.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is 2 p.m. today at the home of Bill and Betty Yeazell.

Consuelo Hernandez
Services will be Monday for Consuelo Paz Hernandez, who died Tuesday at her Watsonville home after a long illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Hernandez was a native of San Pedro Tesistan in Jalisco, Mexico. She moved to Watsonville from Mexicali in 1965.
She is survived by sons Epitacio and Daniel Hernandez of Watsonville; daughters Ofelia Lomeli of Freedom, Maria del Transito Barajas of Mexico, Teresa Martinez of Escalon, Sixta Ramirez and Martha Hernandez, both of Watsonville, and Silvia Love of Germany; brothers Ramiro Paz of Mexico and Ezequiel Paz of Watsonville; sisters Guadalupe Paz Villaron and Hildelisa Paz Valencia, both of Watsonville, and Dolores Paz Valencia of Mexico; 37 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Zeferinio, sons Robert and David, and brothers Roberto, Jose Benito and Rafael died before her.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel. A rosary service will be held there Sunday at 7 p.m.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Valley Catholic Church, also known as Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 2401 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville.
Burial will be at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery.

Fred Dimeo
Services will be Monday for Fred Dimeo who died Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center. He was 79.
Mr. Dimeo was born in Santa Cruz on his family’s ranch along the Coast Road. He attended Holy Cross School and graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1941. He served in the U.S. Army in the Quartermaster Corp during World War II and was honorably discharged in January of 1946.
He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years and retired as a supervisor at the Scotts Valley Post Office in 1984.
A member of Holy Cross Church, Marconi Club, Italian Catholic Federation, Branch No. 21, Sons of Italy and the Mended Hearts.
Fred enjoyed many trips with his wife and friends in the Marconi Club. Together they traveled throughout the United States and abroad. In his spare time he loved to fish, hunt and play poker.
He is survived by his wife, Lucile Dimeo of Santa Cruz; daughter Tina Skinner of Pine Grove; sons Dino Dimeo of Watsonville, Rick Dimeo of Soquel and Don Gerig of Santa Cruz; sister, Theresa Modena of Santa Cruz; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His sister, Margaret Fambrini, and granddaughter, Kelly Skinner, died before him.
Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Pacific Gardens Chapel.
Services are 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz.
Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Santa Cruz.
