Services will be Thursday for Clifford "Cap" Gouker, who died Thursday in Santa Cruz. He was 77.
Mr. Gouker was born in Meeker, Okla., and later moved to Freedom.
He worked as a paving foreman for Granite Construction for 37 years. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and, in particular, taking them to the California Rodeo Salinas. He loved to fish in the ocean as well as hunt for elk and deer. He was also a wild-pig hunting guide.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie Gouker of Freedom; aunt Letha Taylor of Watsonville, who raised him; daughters Karen Quick of Sunnyvale, Regina Lucian of Redding and Donita Copriviza of Woodbridge; brothers Rick and Terry Gouker of Oklahoma; and sisters Frances Friend Legan of Missouri and Linda Higgins of Modesto.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at Davis Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Davis Memorial Chapel. A Burial with military honors will follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.

Jeanne A. Cranmer
Services will be Monday for Jeanne A. Cranmer, who died Tuesday in Santa Cruz. She was 77.
Ms. Cranmer was born in Binghamton, N.Y., and moved to Santa Cruz in 1984.
Ms. Cranmer was a longtime member of Word of Life Church of God in Christ in Santa Cruz. She served as the church’s assistant pantry director, filling this post at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Soquel as well. She also collected antiques.
She is survived by sons Robert Cranmer of New York, Michael Cranmer of Santa Cruz, James William Cranmer of Susanville, Joseph Ashker of Santa Cruz and Dennis Cranmer of Santa Cruz; daughters Nance Parker of Alabama, Valerie Davidson of Florida and Sandra Cranmer of Florida; brother Warren Kolanda of Florida; sisters Lorraine Keefe of New York, Elaine Myers of New York, and Sharon Reed of Florida.
Services are 6 p.m. Monday at Santa Cruz Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1927 Ocean St., Santa Cruz.

Dennis Wayne Adams
Services will be today and Wednesday for Dennis Wayne Adams, who died Saturday in Santa Cruz. He was 64.
Mr. Adams was born in Salinas and lived in Bonny Doon for 16 years and in Santa Cruz for six years.
He graduated from Salinas High School and earned a degree at Oregon State University.
Mr. Adams served as a paratrooper in the Army in Germany during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He worked in business development for more than 30 years and traveled throughout the world as an IBM procurement manager.
Mr. Adams volunteered at Holy Cross Church and was most recently a member of St. Joseph’s in Capitola, where he helped establish the Mission to Mexico through Palma High School and later helped youth groups serve the poverty-stricken people of Mexico.
He was a ham radio operator who used his radio to coordinate emergency response during the 1994 Pajaro River floods. He also distributed food in Pajaro during the holiday season.
Mr. Adams was also a talented sailor, family members say, and had a passion for collecting and restoring class cars and for hockey.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Martha Adams of Santa Cruz; daughters Denise Fiehler of Kansas and Wendy Adams of Utah; sons Mark Adams of Utah and Matthew and Dennis Adams Jr., both of Santa Cruz.
A vigil service will be 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Church, 435 Monterey Ave., Capitola.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Jesse Reynolds
Services will be Saturday for Jesse Reynolds, who died unexpectedly Friday at his Santa Cruz home. He was 28.
Family members believe Mr. Reynolds might have died from complications from oral surgery the previous Tuesday. An investigation is pending.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Portland, Ore., and grew up in Palo Alto. He lived in Santa Cruz for 10 years.
He worked as a firefighter and emergency medical technician for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in Pebble Beach.
He loved his job, family members say, and had several state certifications, including one for hazardous-materials cleanup.
Mr. Reynolds was an excellent cook who often prepared meals for his unit. He also did public outreach and education, visiting area elementary schools.
Mr. Reynolds earned a degree in fire technology from Cabrillo College in 2000 and earlier graduated from Palo Alto High School. He attended JLS Middle School, Escondido Elementary and Ohlone Elementary.
He is survived by his fiancee, Dara Damato of Santa Cruz, and her sons, Michael and Robbie; mother, Pat Carroll Cohen of Palo Alto; stepfather, Jon Cohen of Palo Alto; brothers Eric and Aaron Cohen, both of Palo Alto; one aunt, one uncle and one cousin.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Santa Cruz Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1927 Ocean St.
Services, including honors from the CDF Honor Guard, will be noon Saturday at Santa Cruz Memorial, with CDF Chaplain David Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m.

Victoria ‘Vickie’ Sue Peterson- Clark
Victoria "Vickie" Sue Peterson-Clark died Sunday at her home in Scotts Valley. She was 56.
Born in Oakland, she lived in Scotts Valley for 22 years.
Mrs. Clark worked as a purchasing agent for Toda Citron of Milpitas and formerly worked in upper management at Quarter Pound, Commodore Electronics and Seagate Technology.
She had been looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild.
She is survived by daughter Cheryl Eatinger of Capitola; brother Victor Peterson of Tennessee; several aunts and uncles; and one cousin.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.
The family will lead a service at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Services will be noon Friday at the mortuary.
Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

Geraldo A. Rodriguez
Services will be Thursday and Friday for Geraldo A. Rodriguez, who died Nov. 27 at Watsonville Community Hospital. He was 72.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Texas and had lived in Watsonville for 40 years.
He worked at Watsonville Canning Co. for 30 years and enjoyed gardening and baby-sitting his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Isabel Rodriguez of Watsonville; sons Gerardo Rodriguez of Medford, Ore., and Albert Rodriguez of Watsonville; eight brothers and sisters; and five grandchildren.
His daughter, Isabel, died before him.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville.
A rosary service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Mehl’s.

Services will be Thursday for Victoria Manske, who died Sunday at Dominican Hospital. She was 86.
Mrs. Manske was born in Wilmington, Del., and moved to Watsonville in 1945.
She worked as a waitress at several area restaurants for more than 20 years and enjoyed bingo, traveling to Reno and playing cards.
She is survived by sons Harvey Hamel of Calgary, Canada, Larry Hamel of Boulder Creek and Ricky Manske of Watsonville; daughters Shirley Toth of Grass Valley and Pat Conway of Reno, Nev.; brothers Charlie and Joe Kadlubowski, both of Watsonville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville.
A reception will follow at Independence Square, 1355 Madison St., Watsonville.
