Services will be Saturday for Jean K. Blount, who died Tuesday in Watsonville. She was 83.
Mrs. Blount was born in Grand River, Iowa. She lived in Orange County before moving to Watsonville 19 years ago.
Mrs. Blount was former president of the Lynwood Women’s Club and a Southern California Chapter of the Parent Teacher Association.
She participated in water aerobics at the YMCA in Watsonville for 15 years. Mrs. Blount enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.
She is survived by daughter Melissa Offutt of Aptos; son L. Dale Fisher II of Santa Cruz; brother Arthur Floyd Henry Jr. of Hutchinson, Kan.; sister Sue McAllaster of Horton, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
Her husband, Smokey Blount, died before her.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davis Memorial Chapel in Watsonville. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4471 Lincoln Ave. in Cypress.

Barbara B. Reimuller
Private services will be held Feb. 2 for Barbara B. Reimuller, who died Saturday in Gualala. She was 91.
Mrs. Reimuller was raised in Chicago. She lived in Southern California before moving to Santa Cruz in the early 1970s where she established herself as a antique dealer. In 1995 she moved to Point Arena to be near her son.
She is survived by sons Joseph Reimuller of Arroyo Grande and Peter Reimuller of Point Arena; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Yoshiro ‘Roy’ Aramaki
Private services were held for Yoshiro "Roy" Aramaki, who died Dec. 24 at his Watsonville home. He was 84.
Mr. Aramaki was born in Del Rey. He had lived in Watsonville for 60 years and worked for Akiyoshi Bros. Farms for more than 30 years.
Mr. Aramaki was a member of the Watsonville Buddhist Temple. He enjoyed gardening, traveling to places of historical interest, taking family trips to Hawaii and senior trips to Reno. Mr. Aramaki was a fan of Tiger Woods and the San Francisco 49ers and Giants.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hisae "Grace" Aramaki of Watsonville; daughters Betty Black of San Jose, Linda and Sherry Aramaki, both of San Mateo, Susan Merchant of Santa Cruz and Janice Aramaki of Santa Barbara; son Ted Aramaki of Vacaville; and six grandchildren.
A private service was held at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
Arrangements were by Davis Memorial Chapel.

Mamie Silva Webb
At her request, no services will be held for Mamie Silva Webb, who died Dec. 28. She was 96.
Mrs. Webb was born in New Bedford, Mass., to Portuguese immigrants from the Azores Islands. She moved to Santa Cruz with her parents when she was 5 months old.
Mrs. Webb enjoyed bowling and was a founding member of Harry’s Thursday Niters Bowling League. She was the league’s secretary for 25 years until she retired in 1997. She was also a member of Women United in Sociability and Protection for 67 years and a member of Eastern Star and the Daughters of Nile for more than 50 years.
She is survived by brother Marty Silva of Ridge, N.Y., and sister Lena Silva Cardwell of Fox Island, Wash.; a niece and three nephews.
Her brother, George Silva, died before her.
Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park.

Booth F. Rhoads
Services will be held Tuesday for Booth F. Rhoads, who died Wednesday in Watsonville.
Mr. Rhoads was born in Los Banos. He lived in the Aromas area for 36 years.
Mr. Rhoads served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a self-employed truck driver for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Rhoads of Aromas; son Steven Rhoads of Santa Cruz; daughters Norene Rhoads of San Jose, Sandy Rhoads of Sunnyvale, and Judy Sterritt of Gilroy; brother Donald Rhoads of Porterville; and six grandchildren.
Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel.

Jenny Barlow
Services will be today for Jenny Barlow, who died Tuesday at Dominican Hospital. She was 72.
Mrs. Barlow was born and lived in Watsonville all her life. She was floor leader at Colshire of California, known as the Pajama Factory, for 29 years.
Mrs. Barlow was shop steward for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America Union. She was an Avon representative for 10 years.
She is survived by son Steve Davis of Watsonville; daughters Debra Lerma and Jeannette Davis, both of Watsonville; brothers Tony Pereira of La Cañada and Robert Pereira of Hollister; sisters Virginia Hall of Hollister, Lillian Silva of Watsonville and Beverly Kirchgessner of Vallejo; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Chuck Barlow, died in 1990.
Services are at 10 a.m. today at Valley Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
Contributions are preferred to the Watsonville/Aptos Adult School, 294 Green Valley Road, Watsonville.
Arrangements are by Davis Memorial Chapel.

Florence Lydon
No services are planned for Florence Lydon, who died Tuesday at Hazel Hawkins Convalescent Hospital in Hollister. She was 87.
Born in Whittier, Mrs. Lydon lived in Santa Cruz for several years before moving to Hollister, where she settled with her husband for 50 years.
She was an accomplished horsewoman, representing the city of Whittier in the California Rodeo in Salinas, and was a spirited competitor. She appeared on radio and early TV quiz shows, and often won these contests. At the San Benito County Fair, she dominated the candy section for decades and was a life master of duplicate bridge.
She loved baseball and auto racing, teaching herself to keep an official scorebook of a baseball game. She scored many regional baseball tournaments for Little League, Babe Ruth and the American Legion. She served 27 years with the San Francisco Regional chapter of the Sports Car Club of America, scoring races at Laguna Seca and Sears Point.
She also loved animals, raising injured and orphaned animals including an ocelot named Tuffy in her home.
She played organ and performed throughout the region.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rocky Lydon of Hollister; sons Sandy Lydon of Aptos and Stuart Lydon of Salinas; and three grandchildren.
Sisters Mary Jane and Dorothy and daughter Susan Kozen died before her.
There will be no services. Contributions are preferred to the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation, 911 Sunset Drive, Hollister, CA 95023.

Marian Chesluk
Services were private for for Marian Chesluk, who died Saturday in Santa Cruz. She was 91.
Born in Russia, Mrs. Chesluk moved to Santa Cruz in 1999 with her husband. She had spent most of her life in Detroit and Long Beach. The couple lived for three years in Monterey before moving to Santa Cruz.
An avid dancer, Mrs. Chesluk also loved to play golf and was a talented piano player. She enjoyed traveling and visited many places throughout the world.
She is survived by sons David Chesluk of Santa Cruz and Daniel Chesluk of Vancouver, B.C.; sister Ruth Freedman of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
Her husband, Herman Chesluk, and sister Edith Arnow died before her.
A graveside ceremony was Sunday at Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
Contributions are preferred to a charity of choice.
Arrangements were by Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz.
