No services will be conducted.
Burial will be at Whiskeytown Cemetery.
Born May 19, 1934, in Calhoun, La., she moved to Shasta County in 1997 from Richmond.
She was an in-home caregiver for four years in the Richmond area.
Survivors include son Rogar Harris of Monroe, La.; sister Thelma Crockett of Redding; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Anderson's Chapel in Anderson.
Elsie Wilkie
COTTONWOOD - Services for Elsie May Wilkie, 86, of Cottonwood will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Anderson's Chapel in Anderson.
The Rev. Thelma McNally of Four Square Church in Cottonwood will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
Burial will be at Cottonwood District Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilkie died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Rehab Specialties Inn in Anderson.
Born July 15, 1913, in Alturas, she moved to Shasta County in 1948 from Westwood.
She was a homemaker, helped guard Army ammunition in Hurlong, Nev., during World War II, was a beautician in Westwood, worked for the Anderson Press, and was a member of the Cottonwood Garden Club and the Shasta County Election Board.
Survivors include sons Terri of Anderson and David Maddocks of Cottonwood; daughter Karen Wilkinson Kinyon of Cottonwood; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Anderson's Chapel in Anderson.
Shirley Phillips
REDDING - Shirley M. Phillips, 67, of Redding died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at her residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born Dec. 27, 1931, in Crockett, she moved to Shasta County in 1964 from Sonoma.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband William of Yountville; sons David of Redding and Ben of Reno; daughter Barbara Hankins of Redding; brother Jack Muth of Napa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3290 Bechelli Lane, Redding, CA 96002.

Bessie Gynes
REDDING - Bessie Gynes, 89, of Redding died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Private family services will be conducted.
Born Dec. 18, 1909, in Budapest, Hungary, she moved to Shasta County in 1998 from Stockton.
She was a seamstress for 49 years.
She is survived by her nephew George of Redding.

Bernd 'Bernard' Hagedorn
WEED - Bernd ''Bernard'' Friederich Hagedorn, 44, of Weed died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at his residence.
Services are pending.
Born Feb. 1, 1955, in San Francisco, he moved to Siskiyou County in 1996 from his birthplace.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include half-brother Derk Norman of Santa Cruz and mother Inge Hagedorn of Mount Shasta.
Arrangements are being handled by Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel in Mount Shasta.
Harold Norman
WEAVERVILLE - Services for Harold L. Norman, 82, of Weaverville will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McDonald-Files Funeral Chapel in Weaverville.
The Rev. Jerry Collell of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Weaverville will officiate.
Burial will be at Weaverville Cemetery.
Mr. Norman died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Redding Medical Center.
Born March 2, 1917, in Victory, Ohio, he moved to Trinity County in 1975 from Redwood City.
He was in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include son Dale of Weaverville; sister Iva Durnwald of Florida; and three grandchildren.

Herley Fite
MOUNT SHASTA - Services for Herley Edward Fite, 82, of Mount Shasta will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Mount Shasta.
The Rev. Robert Bain of the church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel in Mount Shasta.
Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery
in Riverside.
Mr. Fite died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Mount Shasta.
Born July 25, 1917, in Coldwater, Tenn., he moved to Siskiyou County in 1977 from Hawthorne.
He was a computer operator for American Airlines and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife Virginia; son Ed of Hawthorne; daughter Carolyn Petch of Torrance; sisters Frances Fletcher and Sarah Atkinson, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
