BURNEY - Nelda Mae Taylor, 88, of Burney died Friday, May 28, 1999, at Mayers Memorial Hospital in Fall River Mills.
Services will be conducted at a later date.
Burial will be at Burney District Cemetery.
Born April 19, 1911, in Cayton Valley, she was a lifelong resident of Shasta County.
She owned a women's clothing store in Burney for 25 years and was a member of the Burney Rough Riders.
Survivors include son Norman of Hat Creek; brothers Orville Crum and Donald Crum, both of McArthur; sister Blanche Anders of McCloud; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by McDonald's Burney Chapel.
Gary Ahart
FALL RIVER MILLS - Gary Fredric Ahart, 64, of Fall River Mills died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at his residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born Dec. 8, 1934, in Fresno, he moved to Shasta County in 1989 from Livermore.
He was a master cellarman with Wente Brothers Winery.
Survivors include wife Darlene; sons Jim of Box Elder, S.D., Heath Bannister of Tracy, Trevor Bannister of Jarrell, Texas, and Garry Bannister of Brentwood, S.D.; daughters Deb Patterson of Fairburn, S.D., Amber Baptiste of Livermore and Laura Boyd of Brookville, Ohio; brother Gardner Dockum of Redding; sister Camille Hobbs of Fall River Mills; father Fred of Bend, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Intermountain Hospice, P.O. Box 459, Fall River Mills, CA 96028.

Mary Riley
SHASTA -- Graveside services for Mary Carolyn Riley, 90, of Shasta will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding.
Mrs. Riley died Friday, April 30, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Born Nov. 3, 1908, in Madison, she moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Tulare.
She was a secretary for Shasta Community Services water district and a longtime volunteer at Haven Humane Society in Redding. She also bred and sold dachshunds.
Survivors include sisters Portia Rouke and Helen Harvey, both of Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
Kenneth Kuhl
SHINGLETOWN -- Services for Kenneth ``Kenny'' Kevin Kuhl, 62, of Shingletown will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro.
Joe Ferguson, a friend of Mr. Kuhl, will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Sky Lawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
Mr. Kuhl died Friday, April 30, 1999, at his residence.
Born Sept. 21, 1936, in San Francisco, he moved to Shasta County in 1989 from Santa Clara.
He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union and Redding Moose Lodge 1006.
Survivors include wife Wilma; daughters Kenda Sappington of Antioch, Kelly Merz of Misawa, Japan, Katrina Kuhl of San Francisco and Annette Danly of Brisbane; mother Lydia of Silver Springs, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
Esther Mace
WEED -- Services for Esther Agnes Mace, 90, of Weed will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel in Mount Shasta.
The Rev. John Hannan of Holy Family Catholic Church in Weed will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
Burial will be at Mount Shasta Memorial Park in Mount Shasta.
Mrs. Mace died Friday, April 30, 1999, at Weed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 17, 1908, in Canada, she moved to Siskiyou County in 1936 from Medford, Ore.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Helen Bennett
REDDING -- Services for Helen Marie Bennett, 93, of Redding will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Valley Baptist Church in Redding.
The Rev. Royal Blue, the Rev. Nick Bruno and the Rev. Dick McBride, all of the church, will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery
in Red Bluff.
Mrs. Bennett died Friday, April 30, 1999, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Born Jan. 30, 1906, in Montevillas, Ore., she moved to Shasta County in 1978 from Red Bluff, where she had lived for 34 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of North Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons James of Redding and Marvin of Anderson; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
John ''Pat'' O'Tool
WEED -- Services for John ''Pat'' O'Tool, 65, of Weed will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Evangelical Free Church in Mount Shasta.
The Rev. Ray Horst of the church will officiate.
Mr. O'Tool died Monday, April 26, 1999, at Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital in Yreka.
Born March 2, 1934, in Yreka, he moved back to Siskiyou County in 1986 from San Diego.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars, and a computer engineer for Burroughs Corp.
Survivors include wife Shirley; sons Patrick of Chico and Timothy of Weed; and three grandchildren.
