COTTONWOOD - Services for Norman E. Lau, 84, of Cottonwood will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bowman Community Church in Cottonwood.
The Rev. Chuck Hanson of the church will officiate.
Mr. Lau died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at Anderson Rehabilitation Specialties Inn in Anderson.
Born Feb. 4, 1915, in Klemme , Iowa, he moved to Tehama County in 1972 from Livermore.
He was a chief immigration pilot for the U.S. government immigration agency, a commercial pilot, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association of Redding and Corning and Bowman Community Church.
Survivors include wife Kitty; son Allen of Chugach, Alaska; daughter Debbie of Redding; sister Ruth McHugh of Waterloo, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 3290 Bechelli Lane, Redding, CA 96002.

MILLVILLE - Edna Elizabeth Pedziwiatr, 84, of Millville died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Private family services were conducted.
Born Nov. 6, 1915, in Sioux Falls, S.D., she moved to Shasta County in 1967 from San Carlos.
She was a commercial artist.
Survivors include son Patrick Lawrence of Three Rivers; brother Harold Trotter of Redding; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ralph Dorman Jr.
REDDING - Services for Ralph DeWayne Dorman Jr., 12, son of Marilyn Dorman of Redding and Ralph Dorman Sr. of Susanville, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.
The Rev. Dave Hall of Neighborhood Church in Redding will officiate.
Burial will be at Redding Cemetery.
Ralph died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in an automobile accident.
Born Aug. 2, 1987, in Redding, he was a lifetime resident of Shasta County.
He was a student.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters Lonnie Sowles, Sherri Lynch and Jaime Sanborn, all of Redding; and grandparents Red and Myrna Dorman of Redding and Adam and Roxie Lane of Janesville.

BURNEY - Graveside services for William George Berlt, 80, of Burney will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Burney District Cemetery.

Mr. Berlt died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at his residence.
Born Jan. 24, 1919, in Fort Snelling, Minn., he moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Los Angeles.
He was a self-employed log truck driver for 45 years.
Survivors include sons Bob of Susanville, Jim of Merced and Ron of Klamath Falls, Ore.; stepsons William Beloit of Gerber and Richard Beloit of Palo Cedro; brother Bert of Fairbanks, Alaska; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Graveside services for Jamie Lynn Berlt Montgomery, 23, of Redding will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Burney District Cemetery.

Mrs. Montgomery died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, in Fulton, Miss., following an automobile accident.
Born Jan. 3, 1976, in Fall River Mills, she was a lifelong resident of Shasta County.
She was a waitress at the Casino Club in Redding.
Survivors include husband Ryan of Redding; son Ryan of Gadsden, Ala.; daughter Kristen of Merced; sisters Anna Mason and Heather Adams, both of Gadsden; mother Cathy Parris of Gadsden; and father and stepmother Jim and Deb Berlt of Merced.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include husband Darrell; sons Darrell II of Redding, David of Folsom, and Dirk of Reno, N.V.; daughters Demarious Angeles of Detroit, Kellie Ettinger of Ripon, and Dwanna Markgraf of Sacramento; brother Nathan Holmes of Honolulu; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Lynn died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Born Jan. 5, 1928, in Horton, Kan., he moved to Shasta County in 1967 from Eureka.
He was a foreman for U.S. Plywood for 24 years and was the produce manager at Riverview Market and Shasta View Market, both in Redding.
Survivors include wife Betty; son Chuck of Redding; brother Don of Redding; sisters Dorothy Young of Canada and Nancy Rose of Corvallis, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
