REDDING - Graveside services for Robert Donaldson, 75, of Redding will be at 1 p.m. today at Eagle Point National Cemetery
in Eagle Point, Ore.
Mr. Donaldson died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, on Lake Boulevard in Redding after being struck by an automobile.
Born Dec. 17, 1924, in Detroit, he moved to Shasta County in 1993 from the Los Angeles area.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a student at Shasta College.
Survivors include son Blake of Redding; daughters Dabnee Stoecker of Roseburg, Ore., and Shelbee Donaldson of Medford, Ore.; brother Donald of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Matilda Heppel
REDDING - Services for Matilda Martha Heppel, 77, of Redding will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Bishop Mark Eliason of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Redding Third Ward, will officiate.
Visitation will be during the service.
Burial will be at Redding Memorial Park.
Mrs. Heppel died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Shasta Healthcare in Redding.
Born Sept. 8, 1922, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she moved to Shasta County in 1983 from San Gabriel.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Redding Third Ward.
Survivors include son John of Laclede, Idaho; daughter Phyllis Lee of West Jordan, Utah; brother John Weber of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Paek Atencio
BURNEY - Paek Hapcha Atencio, 58, of Burney died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Mayers Memorial Hospital in Fall River Mills following a long illness.
Services will be conducted at a later date.
Born Nov. 23, 1941, in Kumryung-Kum, Korea, she moved to Shasta County in 1992 from Oak Grove, Ky.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband John; sons Yong Sik Yu and Yong Chol Yu, both of Korea; daughter Yong Sim Yu of Korea; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by McDonald's Burney Chapel.
Walter Howard
ANDERSON - Walter Jerry Howard, 67, of Anderson died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at his residence.
Private family services will be conducted.
Born Oct. 28, 1932, in Jonesboro, La., he moved to Shasta County in 1966 from Los Angeles.
He was an owner and operator of a grocery store in Wenden, Ariz., and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include wife Lillian; sons Jerry of Dixon and Steven of Redding; daughters Cindy Wertz of Anderson and Sheila Osborn of Redding; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Sally Cooley
McCLOUD - Sally Santina Cooley, 71, of McCloud died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at her residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born May 30, 1928, in McCloud, she was a lifelong resident of Siskiyou County.
She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in McCloud and a volunteer at the McCloud Library.
Survivors include husband Leslie Jr.; son Vernon of Mount Shasta; daughter Leslie Temperino of San Jose; brother Robert Batti of Palo Cedro; sisters Blanch Burnett and Dorothy Powell, both of McCloud; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Alex M. Low, 89, of Redding died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at his residence.

Burial will be at Redding Cemetery.
Born April 7, 1910, in Aberdeen, Scotland, he moved to Shasta County in 1988 from Trinity County.
He was an administrative assistant for L.T.V. Steel Co. and an AAA Trinity County senior volunteer.
Survivors include wife Ethel; daughter Carole Skamarocius of Trinity Center; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Lee Bray
REDDING - Lee Bray, 78, of Redding died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born Oct. 1, 1921, in Medford, Ore., he moved to Shasta County in 1957 from Red Bluff.
He was an electrical engineering technician with the U.S. Forest Service, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Fairfield Lodge no. 55 F&AM, Ben Ali Shrine in Sacramento and the Nor Cal Shrine Club in Redding.
Survivors include wife Kathryn; daughters Linda Gifford of Anchorage, Alaska, Lorna Gowan of Santa Cruz and Loreli Cahill of Belen, N.M.; brothers Max of Phoenix, Bill of Claremont, Paul of Medford and Robert of Redding; and sisters Nancy Robinson of Prospect, Conn., and Peggy George of Ashland, Ore.
