RED BLUFF - Rosary services for Dean Edwin Grimes, 78, of Red Bluff will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff.
The Rev. Michael Hebda of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Bluff will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Flowers. A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery
in Red Bluff.
Mr. Grimes died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff.
Born July 24, 1922, in Lovell, Wyo., he moved to Tehama County in 1972 from Santa Clara. He was a fire captain for the city of Santa Clara and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife Rose of Los Molinos; son Patrick of Colfax; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff.
Charles Hancock
LOS MOLINOS - Services for Charles Ernest Hancock, 63, of Los Molinos will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Religious Science in Redding.
Mr. Hancock died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born Aug. 23, 1937, in Sidney, Neb., he moved to Tehama County in 1995 from Jones Valley.
He was a commodities broker, an ordained minister and member of the Church of Religious Science in Redding.
Survivors include mother Lorretta Hancock of Casper, Wyo.; sons Michael of Anderson and Todd Janssen of Denver; sister Carol Bryan of Denver; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.
Mary Hohenstein
REDDING - Mary M. Hohenstein, 99, of Redding died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Shasta Healthcare in Redding.
No services will be conducted.
Born April 12, 1901, in Independence, Kan., she moved to Shasta County in 1964 from the San Francisco Bay area.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons Warren Beck of Palo Cedro and Robert Beck of Washington; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Anderson's Chapel in Anderson.
Willard Peasha Sr.
PHILOMATH, Ore. - Former Redding resident Willard James Peasha Sr., 83, of Philomath, Ore., died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at his residence.
Services are pending at McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis, Ore.
Born Oct. 14, 1917, in White Bear Lake, Minn., he moved to Shasta County in 1971. He moved to Philomath last year. He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include parents Peter and Adelia Auger Peasha; stepsons John Van Kuren of Minneapolis, Jim Van Kuren of Maple Grove, Minn., Mike Jensen of St. Michael, Minn., Tom Jensen of Brandon, Fla., Don Jensen of Philomath and Tom Constant of Elk River, Minn.; daughter Virginia Crowder of Riverside; stepdaughters Roxy Vesterby of Pengilly, Minn., Paula Gibins of Arizona and Sandy Wailes of Phoenix; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

WEED - Jack Leach Shaw, 82, of Weed died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at his residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born April 7, 1918, in Lewistown, Mont., he moved to Siskiyou County in 1984 from Sacramento.
He was a timber faller for Simpson Logging Co.
Survivors include wife Myrtle May; sons John of Crescent City and Lloyd of Carson City, Nev.; brothers Herbert of Huntsville, Ala., Stanley of Lake Isabella and David of Fillmore; sister Juliann Jardian of Monroe, Ore.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Theda Beverly Teagarden, 84, of Redding died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at her residence.

Born Sept. 29, 1916, in San Leandro, she moved to Shasta County in 1997 from Red Bluff.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Red Bluff Emblem Club and member of the Wapiti R.V. Club of Red Bluff.
Survivors include son Don of Saudi Arabia; daughter Sigana of Redding; brothers Ray Prusso of Portland, Ore., Sherwood Prusso of Talent, Ore., and Don Prusso of Fallon, Nev.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Laurine Tuholski
REDDING - Services for Laurine Elizabeth Tuholski, 86, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
Deacon Frank Lopez of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Redding will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel.
Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Tuholski died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Shasta Healthcare in Redding.
Born Dec. 27, 1914, in Rice Lake, Wis., she moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Corning.
She was a cook for Mercy Medical Center in Redding and attended St. Michael's Catholic Church in Shasta Lake.
Survivors include sons Jerome of Shasta Lake and Neil of Concord; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
