SHINGLETOWN - Ruth Matilda Kulp, 91, of Shingletown died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Vista Hills residential care center in Redding.
Private family services will be conducted.
Burial will be at Sebastopol Evergreen Cemetery.
Born July 9, 1909, in Albuquerque, N.M., she moved to Shasta County in 1999 from Santa Rosa.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons Chuck of Shingletown and Raymond of Santa Rosa; brothers William Brandt of Clearlake Oaks and Roy Brandt of Wenatchee, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

Raymond Bargas
COTTONWOOD - Graveside services for Raymond "Cal" Martinez Nasaro Bargas, 54, of Cottonwood will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Redding Cemetery. Mr. Bargas died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at his residence following a long illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1946, in San Jose, he moved to Tehama County in 1998 from Shasta Lake.
He was a custom concrete stamper for BMI Construction.
Survivors include longtime companion Kathleen Dennison of Cottonwood; son Wesley Amick of Quincy; daughters Rebekah Amick of Cottonwood, Tammie Baird of Pleasanton and Melanie Huel of Georgia; brother Jesse of Modesto; sisters Pauline of Modesto, Mary Ellen of Fresno and Teresa Taylor of Seal Beach; and four grandchildren.

Jean Abrams
REDDING - Jean Elizabeth Abrams, 78, of Redding died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Private family services will be conducted.
Born Sept. 9, 1922, in Annapolis, Md., she moved to Shasta County in 1968 from Torrance.
She was a case worker for the Shasta County Department of Social Services.
Survivors include sons Michael and Clint, both of Redding; daughter Sharron Lawson of Eagle Point, Ore.; sister Edith Bononami of Seal Beach; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Peter Douglas
REDDING - Services for Peter Gray Douglas, 29, of Redding will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Little Country Church in Redding.
The Rev. David Darrah of the church will officiate.
Mr. Douglas died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at his residence following a long illness.
Born July 1, 1971, in Greenbrae, he moved to Shasta County in 1994 from Yuba City.
He was a member of Far Northern Regional Program in Redding, the Lorin Robinson Center Day Program in Redding and the Special Olympics.
Survivors include brother David of Mill Valley.

REDDING - Hiram Thomas Cundy, 87, of Redding died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at his residence.

Burial will be at Ogburn/Inwood Cemetery
in Shingletown.
Born Nov. 23, 1913, in Iron Ridge, Wis., he moved to Shasta County in 1975 from Reseda.
He was an office manager at Admiral TV in Reseda.
Survivors include wife Opal; sons Mike of Anderson, Curtis of Roseville and Michael Voss of Reseda; daughters Charlene Noonkester of Cottonwood, Vickie Hart of Roscoe, Mont., and Jackie Gonzales of Canyon Country; brothers Gilbert of Beaver Dam, Wis., Kenny of Iron Ridge and Claude of Olympia, Wash.; sisters Dorothy Schwarz of Salem, Ore., and Tensie Franz of Beaver Dam; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Thomas died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Born Feb. 2, 1932, in Timber, Mo., he moved to Shasta County in 1961 from Klamath Falls, Ore.
He was a security guard at Shasta Dam, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Redding.
Survivors include wife Charlotte; daughter Monica of Australia; and three grandchildren.

Joseph McIntyre
RED BLUFF - Graveside services for Joseph "Bud" Roy McIntyre, 72, of Red Bluff will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding.
The Rev. John Krake will officiate.
Mr. McIntyre died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at his residence.
Born Oct. 12, 1928, in Weott, he moved to Shasta County in 1989 from Cloverdale. He was a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local No. 3, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include wife Joyce; sons Garfield of Red Bluff and Douglas of Covina; sisters Jeanne Maniaci of Bloomington and Merry Lou Russell; and three grandchildren.
