Born June 6, 1917, in Braggs, Okla., she moved to Shasta County in 2000 from Carson.
She was a secretary for Hughes Aircraft in Torrance.
Survivors include son John of Reno; daughter Sherry Cullop of Weed; and three grandchildren.

Edna Priest
SHASTA LAKE - A memorial service for Edna Bernice Priest, 75, of Shasta Lake will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Shasta Baptist Church in Redding.
The Rev. Mike Johnson of the church will officiate.
Mrs. Priest died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at a daughter's residence.
Born Oct. 30, 1925, in Groom, Texas, she moved to Shasta County in 1965 from Barstow.
She was a classified real estate salesperson for the Record Searchlight.
Survivors include sons Robert of Redding and Philip of Fort Mojave; daughters Delores Hastings of Redding, Tammy of Washington, Yvonne Brown of Weaverville, Teresa Gehrke of Redding, Laura VanWinkle of Shasta Lake, Donna Putnam of Shasta Lake and Lisa Dewaele of Yakima, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Services for Pauline Frances Burras, 82, of Redding will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Palo Cedro Ward.

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery
in San Jose.
Mrs. Burras died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born July 5, 1918, in Webb City, Mo., she moved to Shasta County in 1979 from San Jose.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Palo Cedro.
Survivors include daughters Barbara of Redding, Dixie Jaggars of Bella Vista, Judith Lawless of Sacramento and Jane Culate of Sunnyvale; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Wilson Vaughn
MILLVILLE - Services for Wilson Vaughn, 81, of Millville will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.

Burial will be at Millville District Cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born Nov. 28, 1919, in London, Ky., he moved to Shasta County in 1963 from Burns, Ore. He was a machine operator with Champion International, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Anderson.
Survivors include wife Sarah; sons Kenneth of Redding and Therman Lawson of Eugene, Ore.; daughter Doris Delzer of Oak Run; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Robert Shamansky
REDDING - Services for Robert Louis Shamansky, 55, of Redding will be at 9:40 a.m. today at the Heritage Center at Simpson College in Redding
Burial will be at Trinidad Cemetery
in Trinidad.
Mr. Shamansky died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff following a short illness.
Born Nov. 18, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to Shasta County in 1976 from the Long Beach area.
He was a microbiologist, taught political science and environmental studies at Shasta and Simpson colleges, and was a member of Redding Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include wife Marilyne; sons Benjamin of DuPont, Wash., and Jeffrey of Redding; and brother Randy of Lake Forest.

Harold Long
ANDERSON - Graveside services for Harold Leslie Long, 78, of Anderson will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at South East Lawn Memorial Park in Elk Grove.

Mr. Long died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at his residence.
Born June 22, 1922, in Aberdeen, Idaho, he moved to Shasta County in 1998 from Elk Grove. He owned and operated Long's Realty in Santa Barbara and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife Goldie; sons Harold Jr. and Jeff, both of Las Vegas; daughter Susan Morton of Sacramento; brothers Kenneth of Renton, Wash., Bruce of Petaluma and Sam of Roseburg, Ore.; sisters Hazel Beddoes of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Doris Moore of Boise, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

REDDING - The first of two services for Amelia Marie Dale, 83, of Redding will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro.

The second service will be Wednesday at Bunkers Funeral Chapel in Las Vegas. The Rev. Michael Dye will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro.
Burial will be at Edenville Cemetery
in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Dale died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at her daughter's residence in Redding.
She was a homemaker, a past president of the national Ladies Auxiliary of World War I, a past president and publicity chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary No. 2128 of Las Vegas, a Sunshine Girl for Retired Federal Employees Association of Nevada and a former writer for the Stars and Stripes and Roll Call newspapers.
Survivors include stepson Richard of Anaheim; daughters Antonette Clopton of Chipley, Fla., and Jo Ann Ralston of Redding; stepdaughter Clarice Skipper of Picayune, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
