SACRAMENTO - Services for former Redding resident Elizabeth S. McCormack, 90, of Sacramento will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Redding.
Monsignor Russell Terra of the church will officiate.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.
Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. McCormack died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento.
Born April 30, 1910, in Los Angeles, she moved to Sacramento County in 1997 from Redding.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Parish, St. Joseph's Altar Society and the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include son Michael of Folsom; daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" Alau of Kaneohe, Hawaii; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

RED BLUFF - Graveside services for Hazel D. Brown, 97, of Red Bluff will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery
in Red Bluff.
The Rev. John Bohrer will officiate.
Mrs. Brown died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Tehama County Health Center in Red Bluff.
Born Jan. 10, 1904, in Chattanooga, Tenn., she moved to Tehama County in 1970 from Artois.
She was a seamstress for Signal Knitting Mill in Chattanooga.
Survivors include brother Earl Dowlen of Chattanooga; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff.
Joseph Snyder
HAYFORK - Services for Joseph Lee Snyder, 84, of Hayfork will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Hayfork.
Family members Tom and Scott Lewis will officiate.
Burial will be at Hayfork Cemetery.
Mr. Snyder died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at his residence.
Born Dec. 4, 1916, in Purcell, Mo., he moved to Trinity County in 1965 from Burbank. He was a U.S. Army firefighter in World War II, a firefighter with the Burbank Fire Department, a fire prevention officer for the Hayfork Ranger District, a commissioner for the Hayfork Fire District and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include wife Dorothy; son David of Riverside; daughters Peggy Jo Beauchamp of Hotchkiss, Colo., and Bonnie Lee Lewis of Hayfork; sisters Rose Wilcoxen and Grace Day, both of Lower Lake; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Services for Ora Alice King, 89, of Redding will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
Members of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 17 in Shasta will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lawncrest Chapel.
Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. King died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born April 8, 1911, in Terral, Okla., she moved to Shasta County in 1937 from Silver City, N.M.
She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 17 in Shasta.
Survivors include son Donald of Redding; daughters Barbara Young and Frankie Golenor, both of Redding, and Jo Ann Neider of Sacramento; brother Frank Kathy of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Soder
REDDING - Kenneth I. Soder, 67, of Redding died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at his residence.
No services will be conducted.
Born Sept. 26, 1933, in Oakland, he moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Monterey.
He was a past member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 3 working as a grade setter, and a member of Golden Umbrella.
Survivors include son Thor of Redding; daughters Mis-t of Yreka and Cindy Mitchell of Susanville; brothers Gene Torio of San Jose and Dennis Torio of Pacific Grove; sisters Linda Torio of San Jose and Gladys Sheehy; and six grandchildren.

SHASTA LAKE - Robert B. Moritz, 78, of Shasta Lake died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

Born March 6, 1922, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he moved to Shasta County in 1998 from Ontario.
He was an owner/operator of Southern California Dust Control.
Survivors include wife Diane; sons Regie of Coalinga and Rodney of Hemet; daughters Robin of Fresno and Rena of Visalia; and four grandchildren.

WEAVERVILLE - Yvonne M. Miller, 75, of Weaverville died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Trinity Hospital in Weaverville.

Born Dec. 19, 1925, in Manhattan, Kan., she moved to Trinity County in 1982 from Grenada Hills.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include son David of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter Laurie McAvoy of Douglas City; three granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
