Private burial will be at Lawncrest Cemetery
in Redding.
Born Jan. 29, 1920, in Congress, Ariz., she moved to Shasta County in 1973 from Lakeport.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons Phil of Corvallis, Ore., and John of Clovis; daughter Eleanor Boek of Redding; sisters Belle Deck of Congress and Hazel Baker of Brea; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

SHASTA LAKE - Services for William James Douglass Jr., 66, of Shasta Lake will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Shasta Lake.
Deacon Frank Lopez of the church will officiate.
Vigil and visitation will be at 7 p.m. today at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
Mr. Douglass died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Born June 16, 1934, in Boulder, Colo., he moved to Shasta County in 1977 from Thousand Oaks.
He was a technician for Vision Care in Redding and a member of St. Michael's church in Redding.
Survivors include wife Rosemarie; sons David of Shasta Lake and John of Jackson, Wyo.; daughters Anne Taylor of Elk Grove, Linda Gray and Monica, both of Rohnert Park, Lucy of Seattle and Sharon Beaty of Anderson; brother Joseph of Meadow Vista; sisters Margaret Fitzgerald and Gerri, both of Ventura; and eight grandchildren.

SHASTA LAKE - Memorial services for Ellis DeLoss "Skip" Stubblefield, 72, of Shasta Lake will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Lakes House of Prayer in Shasta Lake.

Burial will be at Redding Cemetery.
Mr. Stubblefield died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at his residence.
Born Nov. 16, 1928, in Minneapolis, he moved to Shasta County in 1943 from Indiana. He was a carpenter for the Local 1599 Carpenters Union, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife Alma; daughters Gloria Bell of Redding and Alma Holbrook of Oklahoma City; sisters Winifred Boswell of Harbor, Ore., and Ruth Brackney of Marysville; stepfather Raymond Barnhart of Redding; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Services for Muriel "Connie" Acord, 89, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. today at Twin View Assembly of God Church in Redding.

Mrs. Acord died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Born Sept. 7, 1911, in Parker, S.D., she moved to Shasta County in 1948 from Marysville.
She was a registered nurse.
Survivors include son Lyle of Anderson; daughter Carol Hill of Wasilla, Alaska; brothers Wayne, Harley, and Floyd Costain, all of Milnor, N.D.; sisters Estell Costain of Portland, Ore., Mayvis Solberg of Fargo, N.D., and Eleanor Thompson of Vernonia, Ore.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ANDERSON - Everett L. Trafton, 84, of Anderson died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.

Born Nov. 14, 1916, in Billings, Mont., he moved to Shasta County in 1965 from San Diego. He was a power plant electrician, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife Alice; sons Ted of Quincy, Ron of Anderson, and Roger of Sacramento; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Doris Beeson
SHINGLETOWN - Doris Beeson, 98, of Shingletown died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Applewood Inn care center in Redding.
Born Dec. 15, 1902, in Liverpool, England, she moved to Shasta County in 1997 from Fortuna.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star, Fortuna Chapter No. 76.
Survivors include daughter Gertrude Beckley of Shingletown; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ralph Foster
FALL RIVER MILLS - Ralph Hall Foster, 82, of Fall River Mills died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Mayers Memorial Hospital in Fall River Mills.
A family gathering service will be conducted at a later date.
Burial will be at Fall River Cemetery
in Fall River Mills.
Born April 22, 1918, in Carrizozo, N.M., he moved to Shasta County in 1999 from Selma, Ore. He was a building inspector for Contra Costa County, a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, and a member of the Carpenters Union.
Survivors include son Jon of Suisun City; daughters Helen Bushway of Anderson and Klaren Odor of Pleasanton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
