RED BLUFF - Graveside services for Kathryn Diane Hethcoat, 45, of Red Bluff will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery
in Red Bluff.
Mrs. Hethcoat died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding following a short illness.
Born May 6, 1955, in Red Bluff, she was a lifelong resident of Tehama County.
She was a data-entry collector for North Valley Collections.
Survivors include husband Don; sons Boomer and Scotty, both of Red Bluff; daughter Melissa Kim of Red Bluff; brother Gary Almeida of Redding; sisters Karen Lachance of El Camino and Christine Ward of Red Bluff; six grandchildren; and mother Marion Almeida of Red Bluff.

DUNSMUIR - Services for Eleanor S. Woodard Walker, 83, of Dunsmuir will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Mount Shasta.
Mrs. Woodard Walker died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at her residence.
Born Feb. 19, 1917, in Colusa, she moved to Siskiyou County in 1971 from San Anselmo.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Fidelity Chapter Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi, Mercy Medical Ladies Auxiliary in Mount Shasta and St. Barnabas Episcopal Women.
Survivors include husband John; daughters Nancy Marshall of McCloud, Margaret Woodard of Carpinteria and April Walker of Klamath Falls, Ore.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

SHASTA LAKE - Services for Billie Bert Brown, 51, of Shasta Lake will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Martin Center in Redding.

Burial will be at Inwood/Ogburn Cemetery
in Shingletown.
Miss Brown died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding following a long illness.
Born June 12, 1949, in Curtin, Ore., she moved to Shasta County in 1990 from Stockton.
She was a groundskeeper for Shascade Community Center in Redding and a member of the "People First" National Organization.
Survivors include brothers Ted of Eureka, Doug of Anderson, Art of Eureka and Leroy of Madras, Ore.; sisters Virginia Lawson of Eureka, Ruthie Moore of Tacoma, Wash., Mary of Salem, Ore., and Jackie Colegrove of Hoopa; and foster mother Ruth Noblet of Shasta Lake.

John Hornall
STANWOOD, Wash. - Services for former Redding resident John Gordon Hornall, 84, of Stanwood, Wash., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Redding Christian Fellowship.
The Rev. Lyle Faudree of the church will officiate.
Mr. Hornall died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at a hospital in Everett, Wash.
Born Jan. 23, 1917, in Hayward, he moved to Shasta County in 1985 from Edmonds, Wash., then moved twice before settling in Stanwood.
He was a vice president of finance at Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., an accountant for San Jose Waterworks, a chief accountant for Rosenberg Markets in Morgan Hill, a deacon and elder for the Presbyterian churches in Morgan Hill, Spokane, and Seattle, a trustee for Morgan Hill Unified School District and taught children to play chess at Redding schools.
Survivors include wife Eleanor; son John of Seattle; daughters Anne Roberts of Redding and Jeanne Walsh of Spokane; half brother Frank Wilkens of Shasta Lake; sister Alice Buchanan of Nevada City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

ANDERSON - Kenneth Goodwin, 71, of Anderson died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at Northern California Rehabilitation Hospital in Redding.
No services will be conducted.
Burial will be at Cottonwood District Cemetery.
Born Jan. 28, 1930, in Eureka, he moved to Shasta County in 1982 from Weaverville. He was a land surveyor for Dan Cook & Associates in Oroville, a security guard with Pinkerton Security in Red Bluff and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include sons Jim of Carmichael and Tom of Fresno; daughter Virginia of Cottonwood; and eight grandchildren.

Betty Schreiner
LAKE CALIFORNIA - Betty Jane Schreiner, 79, of Lake California died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1921, in Sheldon, Ill., she moved to Tehama County in 1989 from Thousand Oaks.
She was a waitress at Seasons Restaurant and worked for Stirling Electronics in Westlake, and was a member of the Lake California Booster Club, Recreation Association and Beautification Association.
Survivors include husband Marshall; son John of Sacramento; daughter Marsha of Florida; and one grandchild.
