GOLD BEACH, Ore. - Services for former Redding resident Alexander Paul Cerepa Jr., 63, of Gold Beach, Ore., will be at 2 p.m. today at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gold Beach.
Mr. Cerepa died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at his residence.
Born May 31, 1937, in Chicago, he lived in Shasta County from 1947 to 1969, before moving to Kenai, Alaska.
He was a retired oil field worker for Atlantic Ritchfield Co. in Alaska.
Survivors include wife Faye; daughters Shannon Merritt of Soldotna, Alaska, and Becky Patsey of Fair Oaks; brothers John of Chicago and Jerry of Shasta Lake; sisters May Grube of Niles, Ill., Winnifred Andrews of Florida, Anne Cullis of Redding and Violet Louis of Shasta Lake; and two grandchildren.

REDDING - Ruth Elizabeth Crinkey, 85, of Redding died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Private family services were conducted.
Born Aug. 12, 1915, in Los Angeles, she moved to Shasta County last year.
She was a bank clerk for Wells Fargo Bank in Los Angeles.
Survivors include brother Gene Hampton of Arlington, Texas.

Mary Dias
REDDING - Memorial services for Mary L. Dias, 89, of Redding will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.
Funeral Minister Robert Naber of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Redding will officiate.
Burial will be at Redding Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dias died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Canyonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Redding.
Born Oct. 18, 1911, in Azores, Portugal, she moved to Shasta County in 1990 from Fremont.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Fremont.
Survivors include daughter Elaine Willson of Redding; brothers John Moura of Tracy, Edward Moura of Hollister, and Joseph Moura of Livermore; sisters Anna Melton of Spring Valley, Eleanor Nichols and Theodora Koll, both of Yreka, Roselyn Moore of South Carolina, and Beatrice Ruttan of Arizona; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

REDDING - Services for Eugene E. Guilford, 82, of Redding will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at McDonald's Chapel in Redding.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
Mr. Guilford died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Oakdale Heights care center in Redding.
Born June 30, 1918, in Grand Island, Neb., he moved to Shasta County in 1997 from San Mateo County. He was a retired employee of Pacific Gas and Electric Co., a member of the Alpha chapter of Gamma Eta Kappa in the San Francisco area and a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors include son Harry of San Jose; daughter Cheryl Bazzini of Bella Vista; brother Jim of Nebraska; sisters Helen Dudrey of Washington and Karen Schwartz in South Dakota; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harbin died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Redding Medical Center.
Born Oct. 11, 1924, in Jasper, Ala., she moved to Shasta County in 1972 from Santa Rosa.
She was a licensed vocational nurse.
Survivors include sons Bob Fortner and Dan Fortner, both of Redding, Norm Fortner of San Leandro and Cliff Fortner of Santa Rosa; brother Edward of Alabama; sister Wiladean of Alabama; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dayton "Doc" Henson
YUBA CITY - Former Redding resident Dayton "Doc" Henson, 88, of Yuba City died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be conducted.
Born June 25, 1912, in Helena, Mont., he moved to Sutter County last year from Redding.
He was a property developer, a member of the Canyon Community Church in Lakehead, a medic for the builders of Shasta, Boulder, and O'Shaughnessy dams, and a safety engineer at the former Alameda Naval Air Station during World War II.
Survivors include wife Marle; son David of Indianapolis; daughter Lee Agee of Yuba City; brothers Jim and Claude, both of Montana, and Herbert of Southern California; and two granddaughters.
Arrangements are being handled by Hutchison & Carnes Colonial Chapel in Marysville.
Ronald Palmer
PALO CEDRO - Services for Ronald Lawrence Palmer, 61, of Palo Cedro will be at noon today at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro.

Mr. Palmer died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at a family residence.
Born Feb. 4, 1940, in Three Rivers, Mich., he moved to Shasta County in 1944 from Sturgis, Mich.
He was an employee of Roseburg Timber Products, a board member of the Cow Creek Watershed board, a member of Professional Foresters and a 4-H Club leader for the Cow Creek 4-H Club.
Survivors include wife Linda; sons John of Eureka and Joseph of Millville; daughters Lorraine Hughes of Redding and Deanna King of Bella Vista; brother Bruce of Eureka; and eight grandchildren.
