Phyllis Neve
REDDING - Services for Phyllis "Patty" Joy Neve, 72, of Redding will be at 1 p.m. June 9 at Fairway Oaks Mobile Park Recreation Hall in Redding.

Mrs. Neve died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

Born March 16, 1929, in Indianapolis, she moved to Shasta County in 1992 from Santa Cruz.

She was a homemaker, a receptionist for the Visiting Nurses Association in Santa Cruz and a former stenographer for NBC Broadcasting in Burbank.

Survivors include husband Bud; daughters Cindy Hayes of Fruita, Colo., and Debbie of Redding; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.

Norman Ginn
REDDING - Norman Bradliegh Ginn, 60, of Redding died Monday, April 9, 2001, at his residence.

Private family services will be conducted.

Born Jan. 5, 1941, in San Diego, he moved to Shasta County in 1999 from Sacramento.

He was a mechanic at Peterbilt Inc. in Newark.

Survivors include sons Bradley of Rancho Tehama, and You and Levi, both of Redding; brother Joe of Hayward; mother Ruby of Hayward; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.

Annabelle Moore
REDDING - Annabelle Moore, 94, of Redding died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

Private family services will be conducted.

Born April 27, 1906, in Gregory, S.D., she moved to Shasta County in 1971 from Montana.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include son Robert Wills of La Crosse, Wis.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.

Thornton Rhodes
RED BLUFF - Thornton "Dusty" LaRue Rhodes, 69, of Red Bluff died Monday, April 9, 2001, at his residence.

No services will be conducted.

Born July 21, 1931, in Riverside, he moved to Tehama County in 1965 from Redding. He was a forester, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Chester Elks Lodge.

Survivors include wife Hiroko; son Kenan of Red Bluff; daughters Cory Allison of Chico and Karen of Redding; brother John of Newberry Springs; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff.

Juanita Palmer
MOUNT SHASTA - Juanita Ivy Palmer, 73, of Mount Shasta died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Mount Shasta.

Private family services will be conducted.

Burial will be at Mount Shasta Memorial Park.

Born July 24, 1927, in Los Angeles, she moved to Siskiyou County this year from Crescent City.

She was a real estate agent for Moss Realty of Sacramento.

Survivors include daughters Carla Huhtala of Mount Shasta and Christi of Paradise; brother William Schoening of Carmichael; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel.

Virginia Scott
ANDERSON - Virginia R. Scott, 90, of Anderson died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

No services will be conducted.

Burial will be at Burney Cemetery.

Born July 5, 1910, in Malad City, Idaho, she moved to Anderson in 1981 from Burney, where she moved in 1975 from Seattle.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include daughter Lee of Anderson; sister Lorraine Johner of Vancouver, Wash.; one grandchild; four stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.

William Banks
MOUNTAIN GATE - William Ray Banks, 79, of Mountain Gate died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at his residence.

Private family services will be conducted.

Born June 16, 1921, in Gadsden, Ala., he moved to Shasta County in 1989 from Antioch.

He was the owner of Ray Bank Realty in Antioch, a member of the Masons and the Shriners, both in Antioch and Redding.

Survivors include wife Olive.

Memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817.

Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society of Northern California, Chico Branch.
