Clyde Erwin Sinclair
Clyde Erwin Sinclair died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, at age 87.
Mr. Sinclair was born in Jennylind on Nov. 19, 1914.
He was a resident of Yolo County for 55 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945. He was a Captain of the California Highway Patrol, retiring in 1974 after serving for 27 years.
Mr. Sinclair was a member of the Rotary Club of Woodland, the Woodland Masonic Lodge No. 81 F & A.M., the Ben Ali Shrine in Sacramento and the Woodland Elks Lodge No. 1299.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman according to his family. He and his wife, Dorothy loved to travel. They would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year.
Mr. Sinclair is survived by his wife Dorothy Sinclair of Woodland; children, Michael Fratis and wife Carmel and Kathleen Norvell and husband David of Santa Cruz; grandchildren, Chris Scarbrough, Aaron Fratis and Jenna and Jonathan Norvell; great-grandson, Matthew Scarbrough.
He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, at Second and Lincoln streets, in Woodland.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donors choice.

McKENZIE
R. McKenzie
MAN DIES IN BRODERICK
R. McKENZIE, an aged man who has been working in Yolo county for a number of years, died in a lodging-house in Broderick Wednesday, three days after he had been dismissed form a hospital.
McKenzie is said to have died from tuberculosis. A deputy from the coroner's office in Woodland took charge of the case and will further investigate the death today.

Amanda Kaylynn McKim
Amanda Kaylynn McKim passed away on Aug. 29, 2003.
Born on Oct. 13, 1993, she was a student at Greengate School in Woodland, Amanda is survived by her parents Randy and Sherill McKim, of Winters. She is also survived by her brother Shawn and her sister Heather. She leaves behind numerous other family members.
Friends are invited to an open house memorial at Amanda's home on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 471 Edwards Street, in Winters. Remembrances may be made in her name to the Amanda McKim Memorial Fund at First Northern Bank of Winters.
REA
Arlena M. Rea
Arlena May Rea died Aug. 12, 2001, after a long illness at Courtyard Healthcare in Davis. Born Oct. 14, 1918, in Danville, Ill., she was 82 years old.
Grammie Lena, as she was fondly known by her family, was a longtime resident of Davis. She retired from UC Davis where she worked as a lab technician for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her only child, Phyllis Martinez and her husband Tony; three grandchildren, Terri, Tom and Joe Martinez; seven great-grandchildren, Jennie and Jason Wylie, Whitney and Jake Martinez, and A.J., Taylor and Alex Martinez, all of Davis; two brothers, Merril Swisher of Indianapolis, Texas, and Don Swisher of Davis; and a sister, Ester Stebbins of Phoenix, Ariz.
It was her wish that no services be held in her memory. However, her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Yolo Hospice.
REAVES
Heather K. Reaves
Heather Kristine Reaves died in an automobile accident on May 12, 2000. Born March 1, 1975, she was 25.
During her childhood, she and her sister and parents spent time camping and skiing. She also enjoyed going deer hunting with her Dad and her Uncle L.B.
She graduated with honors from Bella Vista High School, where she was a member of the crew team and swimming team and won a major award for her photography work. She graduated from UC Davis in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in wildlife and fisheries biology.
She loved all forms of nature and her love of adventure led her to become a whitewater rafting guide, a backpacker, a skydiver and a rock climber. She also went to Australia, where she bunjee jumped Ï twice.
She is the cherished daughter of Tom and Mary Reaves, dear sister of Michelle and beloved fiancee of Kenneth ``Kasey' Crotty of Naugatuck, Conn.
She will be missed by her aunts and uncles Ken and Kathleen Raymond, L.B. and Margaret Reaves, Raymond and Ann Reaves and her many cousins. She will also be missed by Kasey's parents, John and Gail Crotty, also of Naugatuck.
She also leaves her beloved cats J.P. and Henry.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5811 Walnut Ave. in Orangevale, followed by burial services at Fair Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a nature or wildlife association of the donor's choice.
TANAKA
Takeshi Bob Tanaka
Takeshi Bob Tanaka died in Sacramento Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 at age 81.
Mr. Tanaka was born Sept. 19, 1924 in Los Angeles to Hisako and Megumi Tanaka. He had been a Woodland resident for 37 years.
Survivors include Mr. Tanaka's wife Janet; his daughter, Kathy and her husband Tom; his son, Alan and his wife Lee Anne; his grandsons, Ian, Kyle, Connor, Sean and Craig; and his siblings, Richard, Jim, Clarence, John, Sam, Ted, Joe, Alice, Grace and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Tanaka, private family services were held. The George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers of Sacramento assisted the family with arrangements.
TANDY
Ellen Rachel Tandy
Ellen R. Tandy died in her home Sunday, March 5, 2000 at age of 96. Mrs. Tandy was born in Eagleville, California on Aug. 21, 1903. she lived most of her early years in Cedarville, where she met Albert Tandy where he was teaching. In June of 1937 Albert and Ellen moved to the Madison area of Yolo County on his parent's farm. She was a member of Countryside Church for 61 years, and was active in Ruth's, Ladies Auxiliary, Women's Farm Bureau and the Rural Study Club.
Ellen is survived by her sister, Esther Marsh, of Cedarville; daughters, Ellen A. Peckham of Winters and Janice M. Walthers and husband, Bob, of Cedarville; brother-in-law Bill Tandy, and wife, Iola, of Winters; sister-in-law, Terry Bailey, of Citrus Heights; grandsons, Jack Peckham, Whitney Bittle, Cameron Bittle and wife Liz Rambo; granddaughters Deb Peckham, Myrna Spiva and husband, Joe and Darci Peckham-Lewis and her husband, Napoleon. Great-grandsons Nathan Covington and Demetrius Lewis; great-grand daughters, Nichole Peckham, Jennifer Peckham and Lela Spiva; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert and brother Melvin and a grandson, Gerald Peckham.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday, March 18, at Countryside Church, Freemont and Grafton streets in Esparto.
A private interment will follow at the Cottonwood Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Countryside Church, Summer House, YES or your favorite charity.
