Tom Ireland, Tony Ireland, John Rossi Ireland, Jeff Franklin, Ben Franklin and Timothy W. Ireland served as pallbearers for Mae Sidwell Ireland’s funeral on Oct. 10, 1990.

Rene Ireland
Rene Ireland passed away on March 9, 2002 at the age of 79 years. Born in Battle Mountain, Nevada, she attended high school in Winters, was a long-time resident of Santa Monica and most recently lived in Redding.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dr. Eugene Ireland, who grew up in Winters; daughter Tina Franklin and husband Ben of Redding; son John Ireland and wife Jennifer of Carlsbad; son Tom Ireland and wife Lorie of Folsom; son Eric Ireland and wife Sherie of Lakeside; and son Anthony Ireland and wife Diane of Santee; grandchildren Jeff, Kelly, Genie, Bryan, Russell, Gillian, Bonnie, Scott and Matthew; great-grandchildren Kaleb, Nicholas, Andrew, Jesse, Katie, Josh and Christina; sister, Karen Brown of Sacramento.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Eugenie.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at the Winters Cemetery. Memorial may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Vera Gertrude Bruns Campbell
Vera Gertrude Bruns Campbell died Feb. 11, 2006, in Woodland. She was 93.
A celebration of her life begins at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Clarence Sands Memorial Chapel, Church on the Hill, 500 Sands Drive in San Jose. A reception will follow. Her remains are buried
at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Sunnyslope, next to those of her husband, Matthew Campbell.
Born in Gardena, N.D., on March 25, 1912, she was the daughter of the Rev. Gerd and Gertrude (Shade) Bruns. In 1929, she graduated from Jamestown High School. She worked for a time in St. Paul, Minn.; Jamestown, N.D.; and Chicago. In 1937, she marriage Harvey Pope and had a son.
In the late 1940s, she moved to San Jose with her son. She was a secretary at several San Jose firms until she accepted a position in Menlo Park with the Bay Area regional office of the California Geological Survey, retiring in 1976.
She was a longtime member of San Jose's First Baptist Church (later, the Church on the Hill), singing in the church choir for several decades. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
In the 1960s, she marriage Matthew Campbell. After his death in 1999, she moved to Davis to be near nephew Robert Schroeder and his family. She lived at Covell Gardens before moving to St. John's Retirement Village in Woodland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Church on the Hill, 500 Sands Drive, San Jose, CA 95125; Medical Institutional Chaplains, 751 S. Bascom Ave., San Jose, CA 95128-2604; or the charity of the donor's choice.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert.
She is survived by her elder brother's widow, Anne Bruns of Elk Grove; two nieces, Betty Fleming, of Elk Grove; and Judith Schroeder, of Bloomington, Ind.; four nephews, Gerald Bruns, of Galt; Robert Schroeder of Davis; Thomas Schroeder of Dallas, Ore.; and Arthur Bruns of San Jose, and their families.

William Alfred Campbell
William Alfred Campbell died in his Woodland home Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at age 83.
Born April 29, 1920, in Hugo, Okla., Mr. Campbell had been a Yolo County resident for 55 years. He worked for Pacific Bell for 28 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lorean Campbell of Woodland; children, Judy Root and husband Bud, and Wayne Campbell and wife Sally all of Pullayup, Wash., Robert Campbell and wife Denise of Fairfield, and Cynthia Campbell of Davis; grandchildren, Todd Root, Kurt Root and wife Michelle, Matthew Powers, Darci Soiu and husband Luke, H.D. Fonseca, Christine Hurlbert and husband Mark, Billy Turner and wife Asa, Theresa Campbell, and Gus Campbell; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Campbell.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nightingale-Gilmore Funeral Chapel of Sacramento.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 13980 County Road 99W., Yolo.

Mary Ann Camberos (1st of 2 obits.)
Mary Ann Camberos died at home in Madison Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004 at age 56.
Mrs. Camberos was born Nov. 19, 1947 in Woodland and had been a life-long Yolo County resident. She attended Esparto Elementary School and graduated from Esparto High School in 1965. After graduation she enrolled at Salvatore's Beauty College in Sacramento and received her cosmetology license in 1968. Mary worked for Spreckles Sugar Company as a bench chemist for 17 years and the Cache Creek Casino Resort until becoming ill. On Oct. 13, 1984, she marriage Eligio Camberos.
Mary is survived by her husband of 20 years, Eligio Camberos, also of Madison; her sister, Gloria Falcon of West Sacramento and her brother, John Falcon of Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosario and Roman Falcon.
The family requests that memorials in Mary's name be directed to St. Martin's Church, 25633 W. Grafton St., Esparto, 95627. Services: Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at St. Martin's Church, 25633 W. Grafton St., Esparto. A private inurnment will be conducted at a later date. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Angelo Gonzalo Campos
Angelo Gonzalo Campos died in Sacramento Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at age 71.
Born July 22, 1932, in Esparto, Mr. Campos had been a Yolo County resident most of his life. He was the son of the late Christabol Mendez Campos and Alice Garcia.
Survivors include his brothers, Chris Campos of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and James Campos of Auburn.
The family requests memorials be directed to Heart and Lung Foundation.
Services: Military interment was held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine.
CAMPOS
Clarence Campos
Clarence Campos passed away on Friday, May 7, 1999, at his home in Winters. He was born on March 24, 1909, in Marchal DeLubrin, Spain, he was 90.
Club memberships include: Club Iberico De Espana and the California Farmer (Life Member). His life work was farming, the latter years in walnuts and almonds.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Art Humphrey, of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Darlene Campos of Winters; brother, Eleuterio Campos of Marchal De Lubrin, Spain; three sisters, Pearl McCullough of Ramona, Irene Ramos of Davis, and Juanita Martinez and her husband, Joe Martinez, of Winters; grandchildren, Archie and wife, Nina Humphrey of Vacaville; Larry and wife, Donna Campos of Winters; great-grandchildren, Arthur Humphrey of Vacaville, Ingrid Jimenez of Sacramento, Andres Jimenez of Puerto Rico, and Courtney Campos, Jennifer Campos and Lacy Campos, all of Winters.
Mr. Campos was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Campos, and his sister, Jeanette (Jackie) Hayes.
A visitation, was held on Monday, May 10, at Smith's Colonial Chapel. The funeral took place on Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Smith's Colonial Chapel. Burial followed at the Winters Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Clyde Moore, Johnny Chico, Jerry Carbajal, John Eldridge, Frank Carrion and Johnny Martinez.
