Gloria Nadine Campos
Gloria Nadine Campos died in Woodland Monday, July 18, 2005 at age 73.
Mrs. Campos was born Aug. 7, 1931 in Longmont, Colo. She had been a Yolo County resident for 52 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include Mrs. Campos' daughters, Claudia Overmier of Reno, Nev., Cindi Howard of Apple Valley and Linda Reich of Woodland; her sons, Kim, Dana and Rodney Campos, all of Woodland; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ronald Wells of Magalia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Andrew Campos; her parents, Howard and Gladys Wells and her sister, Elizabeth Krause.
Services: Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Esparto. Interment will follow the service at Capay Cemetery in Esparto. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
CAMPOS
Herman Campos
Herman Campos passed away on May 16, 2000 in Sacramento. Born on July 12, 1040 in Winters, he was 59 years old.
A 1958 graduate of Winters High School, he worked at the Winters Food Center during his teen years and went on to work at Raley's, from where he retired. He was a 35-year resident of Sacramento.
Mr. Campos is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda; son Richard; sisters Marian Kammerer of Winters and Bernice Blaylock of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Campos and mother Eugenia Campos.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 22, 15 2:30 p.m. at the Winters Cemetery.
CAMPOS
Priscilla B. Campos
Dr. Priscilla B. Campos of Benicia died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at age 75.
Born March 4, 1928, in Esparto, Dr. Campos was the daughter of the late Cristobal and Raimunda Campos. She attended Esparto school through high school. After graduation she entered Sisters of Mercy Convent as a novitiate. She received her R.N. degree in 1951 from St. Mary's. After 10 years, she left the convent and went on to complete her education. She received bachelor of science degree in 1962 from California State University Chico, M.S. in Psychology and Psychiatry in 1963 from University of California San Francisco, and her Ph.D. in 1971 from the University of the Pacific. She was employed for Delta College in Stockton as a counselor for the past 39 years.
Survivors include her sister, Ramona Manas of Esparto and brother, Chris Campos of Woodland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maria Molina; and brothers, Sebastian, Andrews, and Michael Campos.
The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel of Benicia.
Services: Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second St., Benicia 94510, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church, Benicia. Entombment will follow in St. Dominic's Cemetery.
CAMUSO
M. Yvonne Camuso
M. Yvonne Camuso, a longtime resident of Barrington, R.I., died Aug. 9, 2002, at Grace Barker Nursing Center in Warren, R.I. She was 89.
Born in Matane, Quebec, Canada, she was the second child of Georgina (LaPierre) and Luc LeMieux. Schooled in Quebec, she was an accomplished pianist.
She marriage Basillio P. Camuso of Warren, R.I., in 1938; they lived in Barrington for more than 40 years. A member of St. Alexander's Church, she sang in the choir for more than 30 years. She enjoyed music, handwork, travel and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and a sister.
She leaves three sons and one daughter, Pasquale Camuso and his wife Suzanne of Orlando, Fla., Leonard Camuso and his wife Carole of Davis, Andrew Camuso of East Providence, R.I., and Vivian Olson and her husband Jerry of Norwich, Conn.; four grandchildren, Yvette Mulholland of Davis, James Stanley of New York, N.Y., Elaine Camuso-Wallace of San Diego and Daniel Camuso of Santa Barbara; and two great-granddaughters, Rachel M. Turner and Jessie Mulholland, both of Davis.
She also is survived by a brother, George Maltais of North Dartmouth, Mass.; four sisters, Yvette M. Perry of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Florence Codier of Fall River, Mass., Rhea Lamontagne of North Dartmouth, Mass., and Beatrice Carpentier of Fall River, Mass.; and a multitude of nieces and nephews along with close members of the Camuso family in Warren.
A funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St. in Warren, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary of the Bay Church on Main Street in Warren.
Burial will be at a later date.

Harvey Raye Canafax
Harvey Raye Canafax died on Jan. 15, 2006, at Woodland Memorial Hospital. She was 79.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1926, to Alfred and Eutha (Strawn) Hamblen in Clarendon, Texas, where she attended local schools, and later attended Eastern New Mexico College where she earned her associate of arts degree.
A Yolo County resident since 1957, she was employed as an administrative assistant at UC Davis for more than 20 years. She was active with the Davis Senior Center and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William A. Canafax of Davis; two daughters, Lynn Canafax of Rio Linda and Dianne Canafax and her husband John Albright of Kingston, Wash.; her son, Richard Canafax of Rio Linda; her sister, Carol Kilchriste of Las Vegas; two brothers, Steward “Guy” Hamblen and William H. “Sonny” Hamblen, both of Canyon, Texas; her granddaughter, DeeDee Lynn Bennett, and her great-granddaughter, Alexi Lynne Bennett, both of Oceanside.
Family and friends plan a celebration of her life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be directed to either the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St., or to Yolo County SPCA.
Assisting the family with arrangements is Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
GABBARD
Mae Gabbard
Mae Gabbard died at her home in Woodland Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005 at age 95.
Mrs. Gabbard was born May 19, 1910 in Fayetteville, Ark. She had been a Yolo County resident for 55 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include Mrs. Gabbard's daughters, Margie Oppold and Nora Ball both of Woodland; her son, Hiarm Gabbard and Walter Gabbard both of Woodland; her grandchildren, Butch Oppold, Gail Noel, Robin McGill, Darrell Ball, Ricky Ball and Candy Narbaiz, all of Woodland; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Nancy Barron of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lidge Gabbard; her grandson, Kenneth Ball; her parents, David and Ida Wadkins; and her brother, Howard Wadkins.
Services: A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland with Henry Tucker officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
GADDINI
John W. Gaddini
John W. Gaddini dies at age 81
John Weaver Gaddini died April 6, 1991, in Sebastopol. A native of Healdsburg, he was 81. At the request of the family, no services will be held. There will be a private inurnment in East Lawn Memorial Park in Sacramento.
An avid sportsman, Mr. Gaddini hunted deer and fowl, fished in fresh and salt water, and enjoyed mushrooming and cooking. He was a member of the Winters Branch of Masonic Order, Sebastopol Fuchsia Society, and a member of both the Solano Farm Bureau and the Blackpoint Pheasant Club. He was a long-time Winters rancher in the Wolfskill district.
Mr. Gaddini is survived by his wife, Ellen Gaddini of Sebastopol; children, C. Lynn Kauffman of Woodland, Ernie W. Gaddini of Winters, Eddie Moore and his wife, Jeannette, of Woodland and Steve Moore and his wife, Linette, of Cloverdale; and grandchildren, Brittne J. Kauffman, Alexis Lewis and Hunter Moore, all of Woodland. He is also survived by a brother, Norman Gaddini of Sebastopol.
