Isaac Fletes, Jr.
Isaac Fletes Jr. of Esparto died June 6, 2004. He was 33.
A Woodland native, he lived in Yolo County his entire life. He graduated from Woodland High School in 1988, and worked for The Carpet Dealer/Carpet One in Woodland for 16 years.
He was active on the rodeo circuit as a bull rider. He turned professional in 1992 and, in 1996, won a state title in bull riding from the International Professional Rodeo Association. He also belonged to the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association and North Western Pro Rodeo Association, participating in events in California, Colorado, Arizona and Oregon before retiring from the sport in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac Fletes Sr., founder of Los Carros Caporales, traditional style of rodeo of Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha, of Esparto; mother Maria Elena Soltero of Woodland; sisters Sara Banderas of Sacramento, Rosa Gonzalez of Tracy and Maria Elena Fletes of Woodland; and brothers Elias Arreola of Woodland and Arturo Fletes of Esparto.
An evening vigil is scheduled for Monday, June 14, at 6 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Woodland. A Mass of Christian burial will held Tuesday at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35038 County Road 22, in Woodland.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.

Rosalie Ann (Davis) Flohr-Potter
Rosalie Flohr-Potter of Woodland died Monday, Sept. 19 at age 66.
Mrs. Flohr-Potter was born on Feb. 8, 1939 in Albany. She grew up in El Sobrante, but spent most of her life in Salem, Ore. working as a telephone operator. She had been a Woodland resident for six years.
Survivors include Mrs. Flohr-Potter's mother, Dorris Davis of Santa Rosa; her sisters, Denise and her husband Bill Cripps of Santa Rosa and Marjorie and her husband Melvin Beals of Woodland; her nieces, Kimberly Beals of Woodland, Jennifer Swenson of Colorado, Michele McReynolds of Idaho and Susannah Baker of Virginia; her nephews, Scott and Joshua Cripps of Santa Rosa; her great-nieces and nephews, Rachael, Clayton and Suzanne McReynolds and Jonathan and Benjamin Baker and various aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 26 years, Stanley S. Flohr; her husband of five years, James Potter; and her father, Willie Ira Davis.
The family requests memorials in Mrs. Flohr-Potter's name be directed to Hospice of Yolo County, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617; or St. John's Retirement Village, 135 Woodland Ave., Woodland, 95695.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Stollwood Chapel at St. John's Retirement Village, 135 Woodland Ave., Woodland. Interment will be at the City View Cemetery in Salem, Ore. in a private family service. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.

She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews Rachael, Clayton and Suzanne McReynolds and Jonathan and Benjamin Baker and various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rosalie loved her pets and all animals. She also loved art, music, and had a fun sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. But her family looks forward to seeing her in heaven as she was trusting Christ, her Saviour.

Amelia Jimenez Flores
Amelia Jimenez Flores died on Monday, July 15, 2002, at Woodland Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. She was born in Guadalupe Victoria, Chihuahua, Mexico, on Nov. 22, 1915, to the late Juan and Antonia (Delgado) Jacquez.
Mrs. Flores was a resident of Yolo County for 48 years. She was employed by Contadina for 20 years. Mrs. Flores was a very active person, according to her family, who reported "she loved to walk and was a member of the Country Oaks Racquet Club."
Mrs. Flores is survived by her husband, Robert Flores, of Woodland. She is also survived by children, Ramiro and Inez Jimenez and family of Texas, Celia and Alfonso Jimenez and family of Woodland, Juan and Teresa Jimenez and family of Texas, Maria Elena and Esteban Arellano and family of Woodland, Hector and Martha Jimenez and family of Woodland, and Olga Crowe of Woodland her son Rene Crowe of Grand Junction, Colo. Also surviving are numerous great- and great-great grandchildren.
A vigil is scheduled for 7 o'clock tonight, Wednesday, at McNary's Chapel in Woodland. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, July 18, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Woodland with interment to follow at Monument Hill Memorial Park.
McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Connie Carmen Lara Reynoso Flores 1st of 2 obituaries)
Connie Carmen Lara Reynoso Flores died in The Woodlands, Texas Saturday, May 14 at age 51.
Mrs. Flores was born Dec. 26, 1953 in Los Angeles. She had been a Yolo County resident for 21 years. She was a 1972 graduate of Woodland High School. Before moving to Texas, she worked for Legal Aid in Woodland for three years. In Texas, she was a homemaker and volunteer with the local schools.
Survivors include Mrs. Flores' husband of 29 years, Abel Flores Jr.; her children, Sonia Mazur and her husband Charles, Abel Flores III and his wife Marina and Ricky Flores; her grandchildren, Charlie and Isabella Mazur and Maia Flores; and her sisters: Eleanor Rangel and Debbie Castro. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvira Reynoso and Amado Lara, and her sister, Gloria Gutierrez.
Services: Services were held in The Woodlands, Texas.

Connie Carmen Lara Reynoso Flores, born Dec. 26, 1953, was taken by the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvira Reynoso and Amado Lara, and her sister Gloria Gutierrez. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Abel Flores Jr.; children, Sonia Mazur and her husband Charles, Abel Flores III and his wife Marina and Ricky Flores. Her grandchildren: Charlie and Isabella Mazur and Maia Flores. Sisters: Eleanor Rangel and Debbie Castro.
Known for her incredible strength and courage, Connie overcame every obstacle she encountered. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandma, t a, n na, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, friend and most importantly, role model. She touched so many lives during her time here and she will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Services were held in The Woodlands, Texas.

Demetrius Andre Flores
Demetrius Andre Flores went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2006 in Hacienda Heights. He was 17 years old. Demetrius was born on January 1, 1989 to parents Larry Flores and Olga Ramirez with his twin brother, Damon Flores. He is survived by his loving parents and his brothers Dominique, Damon and Darian.
Demetrius is also survived by his grandmother, Conception N. Ramirez, paternal grandparents Larry and Teresa Flores, uncles Frank Nieto and wife, Rodolfo Ramirez Jr., Tracy Flores and wife, aunts Dolores Castro and husband, Luz Rodriguez and husband, Maggie Finely, Letty Nieto, Shella Ruba Calva and husband, Helena Flores, and numerous other relatives and friends. Demetrius was preceded in death by his grandfather Rodolfo Ramirez Sr. and his great grandparents Manuel and Beatrice Gonzalez.
Demetrius was a Winters resident for most of his life and attended Winters public schools. He was passionate about football and played for the Jr. Warriors in Winters for several years. He recently relocated to Southern California to live with his father and was hoping to play High School football next year. He also loved hanging out with his friends, who will greatly miss him. A memorial fund has been established for Demetrius Flores at the local First Northern Bank of Dixon to assist the family with burial expenses.
Contributions can be made to the Demetrius Flores Memorial Fund at First Northern Bank of Dixon at 48 Main Street in Winters. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 11 a.m. at the Main Street Church (formerly Gateway Chapel). Pastor Al Calderone from Discovery Worship Center will officiate with translation into Spanish from Pastor Joe Mejia of Miracle Worship Center of Dixon. Graveside services and a reception to celebrate his precious life at the Winters Community Center will follow.
All family and friends are invited to attend.

Francisco Enrique Flores
Francisco Enrique Flores died in his Broderick home surrounded by his family Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at age 69.
Born Aug. 17, 1922, in Santa Ana, Sonora Mexico, Mr. Flores had been a resident of Broderick for 32 years. According to his family members, "he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and taking trips with his wife to Mexico. He worked many years for Button Ranch in Winters as diesel mechanic foreman."
Mr. Flores is survived by his wife of 49 years, Alfonsina Flores of Broderick; sons, Frank Flores and wife Ysabel of Woodland, Carlos Flores and fiancee Ruth, and Alfonso Flores, all of Broderick; daughters, Marcella Cirerol and husband Sergio, Deanna Aguilar and husband Eddie, Soraya Aguilar and husband David, Iris Flores and Donna Flores, also all of Broderick.
He is also survived by his granddaughters, Soraya, Celina, Mimi, Nicole, Deanna, Tiffany, Vanessa, Iris, Erica, and Brandi, all of Broderick, Mariah of Woodland, and Teresa of Oregon; grandson, Rodrigo Flores of Broderick and Rick and Jeremy Flores of Oregon; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his grandson, Tony Godina.
The rosary is scheduled to be recited at 7 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1321 Anna St., Broderick.
A mass is scheduled to be said at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, also at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with a burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Sacramento.
