Caroline Congdon O'Malley
Caroline Congdon O'Malley died peacefully on Jan. 30, 2005. She was 85.
A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Covell Gardens, 1111 Alvarado Ave. in Davis.
Born Jan. 23, 1920, in Dunkirk, N.Y., she graduated from Three Rivers High School in Michigan in 1938. She attended the University of Michigan and Cal State Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in English. She became a Davis resident in 1999. She was a longtime member of the Inter-County Garden Club of Southern California and participated in the West Covina Quilt Guild.
Her family said she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jesse Robert O'Malley, who died April 7, 1987.
She is survived by her children, Shawn O'Malley of Mountain Lakes, N.J., Mary Seliger of Ventura, Barbara Floyd of Gold Beach, Ore., Kathleen Yeager of Gilroy, Michael O'Malley of Davis and Charles Timothy O'Malley of South Pasadena.
She is further survived by her brother, Charles Congdon of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and her sister, Mary Stirling of Tucson, Ariz.

O'MALLEY
Robert J. O'Malley
Robert J. O'Malley, a resident of Davis for 32 years, died Jan. 8, 2001, at his home. Born July 12, 1916, in Worcester, Mass., he was 84.
He attended Worcester schools, graduating from Worcester High School in 1934. He attended Worcester Polytechnic, where he graduated in 1939. He marriage Edna Moran in 1944. He joined the U.S. Army during World War II as part of the Army Air Corp. He also saw duty in the Korean conflict. The Army provided him an opportunity to complete his education at Syracuse University in 1954. He went on to earn a master's degree in hospital administration from George Washington University in 1962.
In 1968, he completed his 27-year career with the U.S. Air Force at the rank of Colonel. He went on to become the hospital administrator of the Cowell Student Health Center at UC Davis, where he served from 1968 to 1978.
He was a past member of the Davis Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus and Elks Club of Woodland. He was a longtime member of Yolo Flier's Country Club where he enjoyed golfing for more than 25 years. He also enjoyed reading, auto mechanics, stained glass, wood working, and most recently, communicating via the Internet.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will be in Worcester, Mass.
O'NEAL
Pearl I. O誰eal
Pearl I O誰eal passed away in Sacramento on March 10, 2001. Born on Jan. 2, 1928 in Winters, she was 73 years old. A lifelong resident of Winters, Mrs. O誰eal worked as a sales clerk for Rose Florist for 10 years and was a member of the West Sacramento Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Pete O誰eal of Woodland; eight nieces and 11 nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 6-8 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 435 Anderson Avenue. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will follow at the Winters Cemetery.

O'NEIL
Charles Robert O'Neil
Charles Robert O'Neil died June 3, 2004, at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento. Born in Berkeley on July 23, 1933, he was 70.
A graduate of the Berkeley High School class of 1950, he attended UC Berkeley and then worked for the Standard Oil Co. of California. A resident of Guinda, he had lived in Yolo County for the past eight years.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Constance O'Neil of Guinda; daughters Peggy Hays of Sisters, Ore., and Nancy O'Neil of Walnut Creek; a son, Michael O'Neil of Fairfield; a sister, Joan Crabtree, of Sun City, Ariz.; and sister-in-law, Patsy Krebs, of Inverness. Five grandchildren also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donors' favorite charity in his memory. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Services of Woodland.
ONO
Lorraine R. Ono
Lorraine R. Ono died Jan. 14, 2006, in Great Falls, Mont., of lung cancer. She was diagnosed with lung cancer that metastasized to the brain less than two months before her untimely death. She was 75.
A memorial celebration of her life will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the home of Delores and Jerry Belz, 562 S. Park Street, Casper, Wyo., 82601.
Born Sept. 27, 1930, in Holyoke, Colo., she lived in cities throughout the West, including Bakersfield, but spent most of her life in Casper, Wyo. where she worked as an accountant for the United States Geological Survey.
After she retired, she and her husband of 35 years divorced. In Casper, she was a longtime member of the American Business Women's Association and owned a start-up business with Shaklee. Among her many activities, she served refreshments at Little League baseball games.
After moving to Montana, she spent several years in Davis where she worked as a foster grandparent in a classroom at Marguerite Montgomery Elementary School and taught contract bridge to fellow members of her retirement community. Throughout her life, she was an avid bridge player, Scrabble player and crossword puzzler.
She is survived by daughters, Kit ReVae Arnaud, of Great Falls, Mont.; and Lori Jo Ono, of Richmond; and her sons, Wayne Leland Rhoades, a retired Air Force officer; and Kent Alan Ono, of Urbana, IIl.
She is further survived by her sisters, Delores Belz of Casper and Marion Nelsen of Denver; her grandchildren, ReVae Jensen, Bobi Weber, Heather Arnaud, Samantha Arnaud, Devon Arnaud, Seth Arnaud, Belynda Rhoades, Rick Rhoades, Mina Projansky Ono, Daniel Ono Projansky; and her great-grandchildren, Makala Weber, and Malachi Jensen.

ORDONEZ
Cesario M. 'Sam' Ordonez, Sr.
Cesario M. "Sam" Ordonez Sr. died peacefully at his home on June 14, 2002, with his children and grandchildren at his side. Born in the Philippines on July 24, 1909, to Olympia and Ben Ordonez, he was 93.
Ordonez immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 16, after the death of his parents. Knowing only his native tongue, he learned to speak English and Spanish. He farmed Yolo and Solano counties for more than 60 years and became well known for his tomato and sugar beet crops, family members said.
He marriage his wife, Philis in 1946 and moved to Davis from Sacramento, raising seven children. They were marriage for 56 years.
Family members described Ordonez as "a man of small stature but a giant to all of us." They will remember him a man whose true loves in life were his wife, his children and grandchildren, and farming. Ordonez was considered to be a man of many talents and a great teacher of the meaning of family. In the eyes of his children and grandchildren, there was not a more gentle, intelligent or giving person.
He is proceeded in death by his wife of 56 years, Philis; daughter Olympia and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by four daughters: Nancy Weaver of Davis; Helen Clayton and her husband, Richard, of Sacramento; Toni Cooper and her husband, Craig, of Davis; and Melody Breault and her husband, Butch, of Dixon. He is also survived by sons Martin Framilla Jr. and his wife, Robin, of North Carolina; Sam Ordonez Jr. of Woodland; and Marty Ordonez of Davis.
He also had 18 grandchildren: Debra, Teresa, Wendy Elena, Robert, Sam, Lisa, Richard, Tristan, Channon, Amber, Joshua, Samuel, Justin, Michelle, Brent, Brian and Brandon; 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Loving lifelong friends are Judi White, and Harry and Carlos Garasi.
There will be a viewing from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Davis Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, with a private burial at the Davis Cemetery.

Philis Ordonez
Philis Ordonez died on March 9, 2000, in Davis. Born July 27, 1915, in St. Paul, Minn., she was 84.
She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a resident of Davis for over 55 years. She will always be remembered for her colorful spirit and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Olimpia Ordonez.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sam Ordonez Sr.; two sisters, Beatrice Thurber and Murial Bailey, both of Minnesota; five daughters, Nancy Weaver of Sacramento, Helen Clayton of Sacramento and her husband, Richard, Toni Cooper of Davis and her husband, Craig, Melody Breault of Dixon and her husband, Butch, Judi White of Redwood City and her husband, Hank; three sons, Martin Framilla Jr. of North Carolina and his wife, Robin, Sam Ordonez Jr. of Woodland and Martin Ordonez of Davis and his wife, Lorraine; 19 grandchildren, Debra, Teresa, Wendy, Elena, Robert, Sam, Lisa, Richard, Michelle, Brent, Brian, Brandon, Justin, Tristan, Chammom, Samuel, Amber, Josh and Spunky; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. James Catholic Church, with a private family burial immediately following.
