Johnnie Lenore Kindelt
Johnnie Lenore Kindelt died in Woodland Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at age 86.
Born Nov. 12, 1917, in Durant, Okla., Mrs. Kindelt had been a Yolo County resident for 70 years. She was the daughter of Maggie (Beaubien) and Charles Bellows.
Survivors include her sons, John Kindelt, David Allen Kindelt and Daniel Carl Kindelt; grandsons, K.C., David Jr., Kirk, Kevin, A.J. and Nick; great-grandchildren, Justin, Marcus, Andrew, Katie, Drew and Caroline; sister, Shirley Latham. She was preceded in death by her husband Orval Kindelt; and infant son, James Orval.
The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society; or Athletic Dept., Woodland Christian School. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
Services: Memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday.
RHEES
Beverly Rhees
Beverly Rhees died peacefully in her home Friday, Oct. 2001. She was 62.
Born Feb. 22, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, she received training and became an X-ray technician at Sacred Heart Hospital. On Dec. 16, 1960, she marriage Ralph Rhees in the Idaho Falls Latter-day Saints Temple.
After living in Ogden, Utah, Salt Lake City and Malad, Idaho, she moved to Citrus Heights in 1984. In 1993, she arrived in Woodland where she enjoyed the community and the friendship of many. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who touched the lives of several people in her church as well as in the communities she lived in.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rhees of Woodland; children, Jerry Rhees of Clinton, Utah; Dyan Railsback of Dublin, Calif.; Mike Rhees of Woodland; Heidi Perry of Roseville, Calif.; Eric Rhees of Citrus Heights; Chana Sykosky of Woodland; Hayden Rhees of Woodland; and 24 grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, John Crook of LaHabra, Calif. and sister Diane Singleton of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Rhees was preceded in death by her parents, LaSell and Beulah Crook; a son, Alan Rhees; and a grandson, Scott Railsback.
A viewing will be held Monday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. followed by a 4 p.m. Memorial Service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 850 Pioneer Ave., Woodland.
The family requests memorials be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
RICARDO Sr.
Domingo Florendo Ricardo Sr.
Domingo Florendo Ricardo Sr. died in his son's home in Woodland on Thursday, May 2, 2002, at age 96.
Born Dec. 15, 1905, in the Philippines, Mr. Ricardo immigrated first to the Hawaiian Islands in 1926, and then to United States, settling in the Yolo County area in about 1930. He worked for various area farmers in the Yolo, Sutter, and Fresno counties prior to his retiring in the early 1980s.
Mr. Ricardo is survived by his children, Don Johnson and wife Toni of Knights Landing, Robin Green of Woodland, Gary Ricardo and wife Carol of Knights Landing, and Domingo A. "Bugs" Ricardo and wife Diane of Woodland; grandchildren, Joe Ricardo, Ronda (Ricardo) Papas, Angel (Ricardo) Kinder, Michael Ricardo, Jennifer Onorato, Tim Onorato, and Trina Johnson; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Lou (Perse) Ricardo, in 1974; and his great-granddaughter, Camryn Reese Kinser, in 1999.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland, with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Knights Landing Cemetery.
Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
RICAU
Katherine Schlegel Ricau
Katherine Schlegel Ricau died at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, La., following a brief illness on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at age 92.
Born April 17, 1911, in New Orleans, La., Mrs. Ricau was a resident of Mandeville, La. She was a graduate of Newcomb College of Tulare University, a 50 year member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, member of the Daughters of the American Colonists, Colonial Dames, and the United Daughters of Confederacy. She was a pianist, composer and elementary school teacher.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara R. MacArthur of Woodland and Eugenie R. Rocherolle of Wilton, Ct.; sister, Viola Claverie of New Orleans; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustave J. Ricau Jr.; and daughter, Lorraine R. Lorange.
The family requests memorials be directed to Fairhaven Children's Home, 21066 Fairhaven Road, Covington, La. 70435.
Services: Funeral services were conducted at the Metairie Lake Lawn Chapel of New Orleans, La. with a burial at Metairie Cemetery.
TAYLOR
David Paul Taylor Jr.
David Paul Taylor Jr. died in Sacramento Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at age 58.
Born Aug. 28, 1944, in Knights Landing, Mr. Taylor was the son of Anna Mae Taylor and the late David P. Taylor Sr.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Rosetta (Rosie) Taylor; children, Kristina Taylor, Andrea O'Neill and husband John, Tanya Taylor, Jessica Taylor and also survived by Lisa Brehm and Andrew Graves.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, David Scott Taylor, Sabrina, Johnny and Jacob O'Neill, Tara Bridgeman and Michaela; sister, Katherine Webb and husband Roy; brothers, Jim Taylor and wife Terri and Steven Taylor; brothers-in-law, Ed and wife Krislyn Constant, John Duge, and Nina and husband Rocky Roca; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, and from noon to 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd.
A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, also at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Winters Cemetery.

RICH
Maude Rich
Maude Louise (Spear) Rich, a lifelong resident of the Sacramento area, died in Palm Desert on Jan. 26, 2001, at the age of 85.
She was born in Santa Barbara and moved to Sacramento at the age of 6, where she attended Saint Francis School, Saint Joseph's Academy, Sacramento High School and a Sacramento junior college. After graduating from high school in 1932, she and 16 of her classmates formed what came to be known as "The 32 Club, " meeting once each month for lunch. Over the years and throughout marriages, children, the Depression and war, the friendships remained intact. She attended her last 32 Club luncheon in December.
She marriage John (Jack) Rich in 1938. They were both active skiers and pioneered many trails up and down Donner Summit, even before ski lifts and ski resorts were established They were early members of the Kandahar Ski Club.
She and Jack moved to El Macero in 1965, where they became active with golf. She had been captain of the El Macero women's golf group and had participated in all of the annual pheasant invitational golf tournaments until this past year.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John (Jack) Rich.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Rich and husband Phil Freedman of El Macero; her daughter, Penny Rich of Roseville; grandson, Greg Gordon of Sacramento and many loving friends, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to celebrate her life at the family home in El Macero between 1 and 3 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
RICHARDSON
Charlette Fern (Olson) Richardson
Charlette Fern (Olson) Richardson died Jan. 31, 2005, in Davis. She was 82.
Born Aug. 1, 1922, in Grand Junction, Colo., she lived for many years in San Bernardino and moved to Davis with her husband more than 30 years ago.
She was a UC Davis employee for many years, working as a cashier in the residence halls until November 2003. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her family says she was known for her good nature and strong spirit.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 46 years, Ivan Harold Richardson, who died in 1987; her sister, Gertrude; and a brother, Shelton.
She is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" Richardson of McMinnville, Ore.; daughter, Linda Jensen of Florissant, Mo.; and a half-brother, Richard Billings of Grand Junction, Colo.
She is further survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public funeral or memorial service. Her ashes will be co-mingled with those of her husband and scattered in the mountains they loved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Yolo Hospice in Davis.
