Gary Lynn Rigsby
Gary Lynn Rigsby died in his Knights Landing home Monday, July 28, 2003, at age 52.
Born Sept. 20, 1950, Mr. Rigsby served in Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife Donna Toland; daughter, Stacy Toland of N.C.; son, Kevin of Oroville; father, Ben Rigsby and stepmother, Judy of Knights Landing; brother, Rick and wife Tess of Yuba City; sisters, Marilyn Johnson of Robins, and Lucy Wilcox and husband Frank of Marysville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.
Services: A celebration of Mr. Rigsby's life will be a potluck at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Sting-Rayz in Knights Landing. Everyone is welcome.
RIKER
Alice Joyce Riker
Alice Joyce Riker died Aug. 16, 2001, after a long battle with melanoma, at her home in Woodland at the age of 71. Her family was at her bedside at the time of death.
Born on Jan. 25, 1930, in Elgin, Ill., she was the daughter of Lawrence and Grace Lofgren. She was an avid golfer, bridge player, and member of the Yolo Fliers Club. She was known for her concern for other people.
She is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Bruce Riker, daughter Leigh Anne Diekroeger and husband Kurt of Sugar Land, Texas; son James Riker and wife Julie of Auckland, New Zealand; and daughter Kathy Elmore and husband Greg of Ballwin, Miss. She is also survived by her mother, Grace Lofgren, sister Marjorie VanDeVoorde and brother Larry Lofgren, all of Elgin. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Katie and Melissa Diekroeger, Russell and Spencer Elmore, and Amy and Bailey Riker; as well as numerous nephews and nieces, all in Elgin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence G. Lofgren.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church, 1616 West St., Woodland. She will be cremated with her ashes buried
at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin. A memorial service in Elgin will be announced at a later date.
The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA 95616, or a charity of the donor's choice. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
RILEY
Alice I. Riley
Alice I. Riley died at Alderson Convalescent Hospital Thursday, April 14, 2005 at age 93.
Mrs. Riley was born April 17, 1911 in Zamora. She was a life-long Yolo County resident. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include Mrs. Riley's daughter, Beverly Hesseltine; her grandchildren, Cindy Hesseltine, Karen Rose and her husband Steve and Cathy White and her husband Paul; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Kate Roach, Evlynn Hobbs and her husband Hamp; her brother, John Hanneman and his wife Valancy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Riley; her parents, William and Amelia Hanneman; her sisters, Wilma Palmer and Ramona Nusz and her brothers, Frank, Ernest, Arthur and William.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Riley, no services are scheduled. Burial will be at Mary's Cemetery in Yolo. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
RILEY
Margaretha Riley
Margaretha Riley passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at her home in Winters. Born in Holland, on Dec. 3, 1925, she was 75 years old.
Mrs. Riley was a resident of Winters for 33 years. She was the first school crossing guard at Fourth Street and Grant Avenue and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Frank Riley and Michael Henry Riley of Winters, and Kim Colleen Snow of Ft. Bidwell; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband David A. Riley on Dec. 22, 1994.
Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at the Winters Cemetery. Pastor Frank Anderson of the Pioneer Presbyterian Church officiated. Remembrances may be made in Mrs. Riley’s name to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.
RIMOLDI
Samuel Everett Rimoldi
Samuel Everett Rimoldi died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at Sutter Davis Hospital at age 53.
Mr. Rimoldi was born Dec. 8, 1951 in Woodland and had been a life long Yolo County resident. He was a 1970 graduate of Woodland High School where he was on the football and wrestling teams. He worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include Mr. Rimoldi's daughter, Adrienne Rimoldi; his son, Joshua and his wife Joyce; his grandchildren, Angel, Ashley, Juliette and Jaden Rimoldi; his mother, Tootie VonAlmen and her husband Bob; his sister, Penny Rimoldi all of Woodland; his nephews, Joe Wolfenbarger of Fort Lupto, Colo. and Bryson Baker of Magalia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rimoldi and his grandparents, Sam and Gladys Roub and Carlos and Stella Rimoldi.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Rimoldi, services are private. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
RIOS
Clara Mary (Zaragoza) Rios
Clara M. Rios passed away at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005 at age 69. She was born on March 18, 1936 in Woodland, California, to Facundo and Ramona (Fierro) Zaragoza, both originally of Mexico, and who predecease her.
A resident of Yolo County for 69 years, Clara had graduated from Beamer Elementary School and Woodland High School class of 1955. She later went to work for Contadina Foods where she rose to the rank of supervisor, was lovingly referred to a "Clarita, " and retired after 40 years with the company. She was a person who loved to play bingo and cards, watch old Roy Rogers movies, listen to "Oldies but Goodies, " watch "Walker, Texas Ranger" and golf on television.
Another joy of her life was to share birthday luncheons with her siblings and music, especially listening to her brothers playing the guitars and singing her favorite Hispanic songs.
Surving Clara are her son, Ray Rios Jr. and wife Diana "Solorzano" and her daughter Barbara "Bobbi" Raubach, all of Woodland. Her sisters, Celia Ramirez and husband Adrian, Rosie Ramirez and husband Fred, both of Woodland and Lucy Garcia of Sunnyvale. Also surviving are her brothers, Gilbert Zaragoza and wife Helen of Rancho Cordova, Jose Zaragoza and wife Dolores, Eulalio and wife Connie and Jesus Zaragoza, all of Woodland.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Anthony Tafoya, Richard Solorzano, Michael Tafoya and Erik Raubach, all of Woodland; Cynthia Solorzano of Sacramento, Serena Rios, Elizabeth Solorzano and Christina Solorzano, all of Woodland and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by an aunt, Lillian Serviss and her uncle Cirillo Zaragoza and wife Josefina of Woodland.
She is preceded in death by her sister Bertha Mata and brother David Zaragoza.
Visitation is scheduled Monday, Oct. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. A Rosary service will begin at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland, with Deacon Ed Kull officiating. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Holy Rosary Church with Father John Boll officiating. and interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Woodland.
Donations in memory of Ms. Rios may be made to the Diabetes Association memorial Fund, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio, 44720.

RINKE
George Edward Rinke
George Edward Rinke of Rogers, Ark. died at St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital Friday, Aug. 5, 2005 at age 68.
Mr. Rinke was born May 8, 1937 in Coal Hill, Ark. to Lucille Schweppenstedde and Herbert Rinke. He had been a long-time Yolo County resident. He worked as a truck driver for more than 20 years and was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God in Rogers, Ark.
Survivors include Mr. Rinke's wife, Alice V. Rinke; his children, Allen Rinke of Conway, Ark., Julie Rinke of Woodland, Laurie Heath of Reno, Nev., Sherri Jimenez of Westwood, Emerson Molt of Pleasant Hill, Mo., Michael Molt of Austin, Texas and Polly Hilderbrandt of Boise, Idaho; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Lucille Rinke of Wichita, Kan.; and 10 siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Rinke.
The family requests memorials in Mr. Rinke's name be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled for noon, Saturday, Aug. 20 at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, 4055 North Second St., Rogers, Ark. with Pastor Scott Brownell officiating. Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers, Ark. is assisting the family with arrangements.
