Lydia A. Dean
Mrs. Lydia Dean passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Sutter Davis Hospital in Davis. Born on Nov. 1, 1922 in Winters, she was 77 years old.
Mrs. Dean was the daughter of Mariano and Adoracion Munoz who came to Winters from Spain in 1915. The Munoz family ran a ranch in the Wolfskill area of Winters for over 50 years where Mrs. Dean was raised.
Mrs. Dean attended Winters High School. She worked for many years as a home health care giver in Winters. She may be most remembered as the lady who rode her 3 wheel bicycle around town.
She is survived by her daughter Learetta L. Parrett of Alexandria, Virginia, her grandchildren Michael Pina of Salinas, and Christine Bess Silverman of San Leandro. She also leaves her sisters Emily Martino of Davis, Doris Carrick of Winters, Lena Estepa of Woodland, Mariana Zimmerman of Sparks, Nevada, Julia Peddersen of Winters and Carmelita Andre of Woodland.
Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 23, at 1 p.m. at Winters Cemetery. Pastor Tom Norvell officiated at the service. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith's Colonial Chapel in Winters.
DEAN
Robert Stanton Dean
Robert Stanton Dean died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at his home in Woodland at age 70.
Mr. Dean was born in Woodland on Feb. 15, 1935 to Guy and Ruth (Stanton) Dean. He was a life-long Yolo County resident. He attended local schools, including Woodland High School. For more than 20 years, he was employed as a laborer in the construction trade.
Survivors include Mr. Dean's brother, David S. Dean and his wife Dorothy of Livermore; his stepfather, Robert Aguilar of Elk Grove; his stepsisters, Victoria and Martha Aguilar, both of Sacramento; his stepbrothers, Steven Aguilar of Reno, Nev. and Manuel Aguilar of Woodland; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wesley G. Dean; and his longtime companion, Maida Graham.
The family requests memorials in Mr. Dean's name be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Dean, private services will be held at Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35036 County Road 22, Woodland. Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
DEAN
Roma Jean Dean
Roma Jean Dean died Oct. 10, 2004, at the University Retirement Community in Davis. She was 94.
A private family interment will be held at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Ariz.
Born Sept. 16, 1910, she was a native of Iowa. She lived in Sun City, Ariz., for 24 years prior to her move to California.
She had a varied work history, teaching high school in Iowa in her early years. She began a second career with the state of California as an employment counselor, retiring after 20 years of service.
She was known for her love of worldwide travel and as someone who embraced new experiences.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Sidney Dean, in 1987; sister, Alpha Koerner, in 2001; and son-in-law, Robert Severns, in 1981.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Severns of Oakland; grandson, Wendell Severns and his wife Kim of Woodland; granddaughter, Pam Landes and her husband Roger of Meridian, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Tara and Katelyn Jett of Woodland, and Crystal, Melissa and Christopher Landes of Meridian, Idaho; and close family friends, Deana and Quinton Rogers of Davis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, in her name. Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
DeANGELIS
Edward A. DeAngelis
Edward A. DeAngelis, age 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, surrounded by family. He was born on Dec. 12, 1911, in New York, New York to Edwardo and Lucia DeAngelis.
Following his retirement, DeAngelis and his wife moved from New York City to Florida, then relocated to El Macero eight years ago to be with their daughter, Ruth Ann Kinsella.
DeAngelis is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen DeAngelis; daughters, Ruth Ann Kinsella of El Macero and Judith Colleton and her husband Tom of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Sean Kinsella; Helen Kinsella and her husband Jason Walsch; Katheryn Kinsella and her husband Dean Soloaga; Kevin Kinsella and his wife Uniit; Michael Welsh and his wife Debbe; and Craig Welsh.
He also is survived by his eight great-grandchildren: Hannah Kinsella, Kii Edward Kinsella, Matthew Kinsella-Walsch, Isabel Soloaga, Camille Soloaga, Brandon Welsch, Taylor Ann Welsch and Stephen Welsch.
A memorial mass will be scheduled at a future date.
DEATHERAGE
Terry Morris Deatherage
Terry Morris Deatherage died at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at age 47.
Born April 3, 1955, in Pennsylvania. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Woodland. Mrs. Deatherage graduated from Woodland High School in 1973. After graduating from high school she worked for Mobil Chemical, in their graphics design department for a few years. In May of 1992, she marriage Corlyn Deatherage, also of Woodland. In October of that year the couple moved to Lewiston, Idaho. The couple moved to Colfax, Wash. in 1999, and two years later they retired and moved to Clarkston, Wash., where she resided until her death. According to her family members, "she touched the lives of many people bringing joy and happiness into their lives. A quote from George Regas, 'The important things in life cannot be gotten in advance. They must be gathered fresh everyday, ' was a favorite of hers."
Mrs. Deatherage is survived by her husband, Corlyn Deatherage of Clarkston, Wash.; mother, Dot Morris of Sacramento; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and John Howard of Colfax, Wash.; brother, John Morris of Carmichael; and nephews, Robert and Brian Howard of Colfax, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russ Baughman, in 1988.
A memorial service is scheduled on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Lewiston, Idaho.
The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society; National Multiple Sclerosis Society; the charity of the donor's choice, in her behalf.

DeBOLT
Walter Wayne DeBolt
Walter Wayne DeBolt died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 at age 92.
Mr. DeBolt was born Aug. 25, 1913 to Amos and Nora DeBolt in Arbuckle. He graduated from Arbuckle High School and worked as a warehouseman for most of his adult years.
Survivors include Mr. DeBolt's wife of 72 years, Helen DeBolt; his daughter, Sharon Lukehart; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn DeBolt; his sisters, Thelma, Evelyn and Eileen and his brothers, Claude, Vernon, Pinkie and Lloyd.
Services: A farewell gathering is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, March 6 at the Arbuckle Golf Course Club House. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
DeLEON
Eufilia Navarro DeLeon
Eufilia Navarro DeLeon died in Woodland Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 at age 67.
Mrs. DeLeon was born Sept. 3, 1937 in El Paso, Texas and had been a Yolo County resident for 16 years. She was a graduate of Mt. Sac College in Walnut receiving an associate degree and worked within social services for three years.
Survivors include Mrs. DeLeon's daughter, Margarita Garcia and her husband Marco of Woodland, her son Jesse DeLeon of Sacramento, sister Guadalupe Zaragoza of Pomona, two granddaughters Angela Vidales and Marlyn Echavarria, five great-grandchildren Angel Garcia, Raymond Echavarria Jr., Alexys Martinez, Cristian and Damien Vidales.
Services: A vigil service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland. A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Woodland. Evergreen Funeral Services of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
