Edith I. Heidrick
A lifelong resident of Yolo County, Edith Inez (Horgan) Heidrick died at Woodland Memorial Hospital on Sept. 8, 2002, at age 85. She was born Dec. 4, 1916 in Hungry Hollow. Both her parents, John Horgan Jr. and Wilhelmina (Weiss) Horgan, were Yolo County residents.
She grew up on the Horgan family farm and attended the original Clover School on County Road 19 in Woodland. She later helped restore the school to its historic condition in 1994.
On March 17, 1941, she marriage Joseph Heidrick Sr. in Reno. Before his passing in April 1988, the couple celebrated 47 years of marriage.
They were very fond of traveling and visited locations around the world, including Africa, Italy, Mexico and Sweden. Aside from traveling, she had many diverse interests such as photography, gardening, baking, crotcheting and caring for her animals. She was an active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and participated in many civic activities throughout the years.
She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor and kinds words for those she encountered.
A son, John Heidrick, preceded her in death in January 1965.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria McGinnis and her husband John of Willows, Martha Hilleby and her husband Hans of Woodland; her son, Joseph Heidrick Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Woodland; and six grandchildren, Tim Heidrick, Joel Diaz and her husband Tom of Woodland, Kathy McGinnis of San Jose, Patty McGinnis of Chico, Bonnie Hilleby of Woodland and Hans Hilleby Jr. of Chico.
Great-grandchildren Drew and Garrett Heidrick and Jordan, Tommy and Michael Diaz, all of Woodland, also survive her.
Visitation will be held today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St. in Woodland. A rosary will be recited beginning at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ed Kull presiding. Friends and family are invited to attend.
A graveside committal service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Boll officiating.
Donations in her memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
HEIDRICK
Steven C. Heidrick
Steven Clark Heidrick died on March 11, 2000, in Woodland while surrounded by his family and friends. Born on July 13, 1965, in Woodland, he was 34.
He was a lifelong resident of Yolo County. He was a farmer for the past five years.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Sandra Heidrick of Woodland; sister, Melissa Harlan and her husband Blake; brother, Greg Heidrick of Woodland and his fiancee Stacy; companion, Richard Maioli of Woodland; nieces, Eleanor and Amelia Harlan of Woodland; grandfather, Fred Heidrick Sr. of Woodland; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private family services are being held.

Frank J. Heil
Frank Joseph Heil dies at 78
Frank Joseph Heil died Monday, June 18, 1990 in Sutter Davis Hospital. A native of Hungary, he was 78.
Mr. Heil is survived by his wife, Margaret Heil of Winters; son, Frank Heil Jr. of Belmont; and daughter, Julianna Heil of Winters.
No service was held.
HEIN
Belle Melton Hein
Belle Melton Hein died at her home in Woodland Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005 at age 92.
Mrs. Hein was born Nov. 26, 1912 in Scottsbluff, Neb. to Volney and June (May) Pease. She had been a Yolo County for 22 years. In Woodland she was active in Omega Nu, Town and Country Club, the Girl Scouts and was secretary of the Woodland Community Chest (United Way). She also participated in the University Women's Bridge Tournament. While a resident of Salinas she was employed by the Monterey County Auditor's Office and later by Poulton Realty as a real estate agent.
Survivors include Mrs. Hein's daughter, Janice Adams of Woodland; her grandsons, David Adams and his wife Courtney of Williams and Michael Adams and his wife Sue of Woodland; and her great-grandchildren, Nicole, Karisa, Marianne, Wayne, Marietta, Janice and Teresa, all of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence E. Melton and Harold Hein; and her sister, Ruby Salese.
The family requests memorials in Mrs. Hein's name be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Hein, private family services will be held. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
HEIN
Larry John Hein
Larry John Hein, 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at his Woodland home. A Yolo County resident for the past 44 years, we was born on April 27, 1940 in Sacramento to John and Marie (Baker) Hein, he spent the days of his youth growing up in Yountville. A graduate of McClatchy High School class of 1959, Hein graduated from U.C. Davis in 1963 where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, followed by his Master's degree in Biochemistry in 1965. He retired in 1998 from UC Davis, where he was a researcher in the medical school for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, Marjory Hein of Woodland and sons Alex Hein of Woodland as well as Kris Hein and his wife Gwen of Knights Landing, a sister Dianna Carson of Sacramento, grandsons Cole Hein of Knights Landing, and Dylan Bell of Woodland, one great grandson, Kobe Yeager of Woodland.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Marie Hein. In honor of his request, no services will be held.
Services: Family will hold a Celebration of Life services to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Yolo Hospice in his memory. Assisting the family and arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
HEINEMANN
Clara Heinemann
Clara Heinemann, a five-year resident of Davis, died in Auburn on April 23, 2004. She was 95 years old.
Born Aug. 7, 1908, in San Francisco, she is survived by her daughter, Alice (Ed) Hackley; sister, Lillian Richmond; three grandchildren; and, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 34th and Barrett avenues in Richmond.

HEINTZ
Herbert L. Heintz
Herbert L. Heintz passed away in his Winters home on May 24, 2005. Born on February 7, 1927, Mr. Heintz graduated from Sanger High School in Sanger, California, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a branch manager of Snap-On Tools in Phoenix, Arizona, and was member of the Free and Accepted Masons in Sanger Lodge #316 for over 50 years. He and his wife, Willa were marriage for 55 years.
Mr. Heintz is survived by his wife, Willa Heintz, of Winters, daughter Laura Olsen and her husband Ken of Gardenerville, Nevada, and Son Larry Heintz and his wife, Cindy, of Winters. He had five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Emanuel and Molly (Grass) Heintz.
