William Hanneman
William I. Hanneman died in the Cottonwood Healthcare Facility in Woodland on April 10, 2001. He was 87.
Born in Zamora on April 4, 1914, he was a lifelong resident of Yolo County. He played for the Zamora Hay Balers baseball team in the 1930s. He worked for several farmers in the Zamora area and retired from the Contadina cannery in Woodland. His favorite hobbies were fishing and using his metal detector.
He is survived by his sisters, Alice Riley, Ramona Nusz, Katherine Roach and Evelyn Hobbs, and brother, John Hannemann, all of Woodland. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Palmer, and brothers Arthur, Ernest and Frank Hanneman.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mary's Cemetery in Yolo.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

HANNIFEN
Owen Hannifen
Owen Mitchell Hannifen died July 5, 2000, at Woodland Memorial Hospital, in Woodland. Born September 16, 1938, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was 61.
He resided in Yolo County for nine years and was most recently a legal librarian for the county.
He is survived by his wife, Eclare Hannifen of Woodland.
A service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1405 Cottonwood St., Woodland. The mortuary will be the North Sacramento Funeral Home and the cemetery will be the Woodland Cemetery, Indigent Monument.
HANSEN
Chris Gerald Hansen
Chris Gerald Hansen died in Woodland Saturday, June 21, 2003, at age 61.
Born on Aug. 18, 1941, to Charles and Marjorie Hansen of Live Oak, Mr. Hansen attended Live Oak schools. After attending the College of Arts and Crafts, he moved to New York where he worked as a fashion illustrator and designer and later as the art director of Overlook Books of Viking Press.
Mr. Hansen moved to San Francisco in the late 1970s, where he continued working as a graphic artist and costume designer, including designing sets and costumes for the San Francisco Ballet.
Mr. Hansen is survived by his companion, Darrell Schramm of Vallejo; his mother, Marjorie Hansen of Woodland; a brother David Hansen and his wife Paula Burnette of Folsom; a sister, Carolyn Bennett of Woodland; and nieces, Sarah Hansen of Sacramento and Katrina Hansen of Auburn, as well as many cousins here and in Denmark.
Memorials may be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box. 1014, Davis, 95617.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled in Vallejo on Saturday, July 19.
HANSEN
Jack E. Hansen
Jack E. Hansen died at Woodland Memorial Hospital Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at age 88.
Born Dec. 7, 1914, in Norway, Mr. Hansen had been a Yolo County resident for two years. He came to the U.S. in 1930s. He was a Sutter Basin resident for 65 years. He was a farmer for 65 years. He was a member Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints and Robbins Lions Club.
Survivors include his sons, Jerry Hansen and wife Deanna of Knights Landing, and Michael Hansen of Knights Landing; grandson, Jerry R. Hansen and wife Patricia of Woodland; and great-grandsons, Alex Hansen and Aaron Hansen, also both of Woodland. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, June Hansen.
The family requests memorials be directed to Robbins Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 68, Robbins, 95676. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
Services: A private graveside service was held Friday, March 14, at Knights Landing Cemetery.

Joyce Lorraine (Butterfield) Hansen
Joyce Lorraine (Butterfield) Hansen died of cancer Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at age 64.
Born May 27, 1939, and a native of Woodland, Ms. Hansen was the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Tyrrell.
Survivors include her children, Debra Love of Woodland, Dorothy Minear and husband Jim of Elverta and David Hansen of Boswell, Okla.; grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffrey, Jason, Cara, Leah, Kayla, Cody, Katrina, Cannon, Billy and Jaime; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Heather, Dawnie Jo and Laura. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Laura Hansen.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nautilus Society of Sacramento.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.

Margaret Elizabeth Dally Hall Hansen
Margaret Elizabeth Dally Hall Hansen died in Marysville on Feb. 5, 2006. She was 99 years old.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Dixon United Methodist Church, 209 N. Jefferson St. in Dixon. The Rev. Catherine Morris will officiate. Burial will be Tuesday at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.
Born on Oct. 14, 1906, in Solano County, she lived in Davis with her husband for six years. She graduated from UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University.
She was a retired primary grade public school teacher in Solano and Napa counties. She was also, until her death, the senior partner in Hall Wallace Dally Partners, a ranching partnership in its 160th year of operation in Northern California.
She was associated with the Rebekah Lodge in Vacaville, the Association of American University Women, Tremont Church Mite Society in Davis, the Napa County Retired Teachers Association and the Dixon United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Richard C. Hall and Willis E. Hansen, her son Richard C. Hall, her sister Georgiana C. Wallace and her brother, Olympic gold medalist William M. Dally.
She is survived by her son, Craig Hall of Marysville; her daughters-in-laws, Martha C. Bunce of Yuba County and Shirleen B. Hall of Napa County; her five grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren.

Marilyn "Mickie" Hansen
Marilyn "Mickie" Hansen died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 at Washoe Medical Center In Reno, Nev. from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was 61.
Mrs. Hansen was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on Jan. 19, 1945 to Wayne and Mary Knauff. She had been a Yolo County resident for 12 years. She attended Paradise Adventist School for elementary school and high school at Monterey Bay Academy where she graduated in 1963. She attended college at Pacific Union College, La Sierra College and Loma Linda University, where she graduated in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She practiced dental hygiene in San Bernardino and in Canada along the British Columbia coast before moving to the Woodland area in 1972 where she and her husband operated their own dental practice until 1984. They then continued to work in private practice in Sacramento until moving to Susanville in 2004. In Susanville she worked as a dental hygienist for Drs. Linda and Curtis Vixie and their associate Dr. Veryl Drury. She was a member of the Lassen County Dental Hygiene Association and Laueate Theta Psi Sorority.
Survivors include Mrs. Hansen's husband of 39 years, Larry Hansen of Susanville; her sons, Jereme Hansen of Vancouver, Wash. and Jason Hansen and his wife Tobreth; and her granddaughters, Daitarih and Phyllis all of San Jose; her brothers, Daryl Knauff and his wife Stelle of Sequim, Wash. and Roger Knauff and his wife Gayle of Grants Pass, Ore.; her sister-in-law, Darlene Hansen of Dawsonville, Ga.; her brothers-in-law, Floyd Hansen and his wife Rose of Susanville, Don Hansen and his wife Michelle of Plymouth, Mass.; three nieces; seven nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mary Knauff.

Services: A celebration of Mrs. Hansen's life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Hotel Woodland, 436 Main St., Woodland with Dick Matthews of Woodland officiating. Truckee Meadows Cremation and Burial Services of Reno assisted the family with arrangements.
