Dear Friend - It has come to the worst. My dear wife's spirit left its tenement of clay and returned to its God yesterday evening at 10 minutes to 6 o'clock, at the Aetna Springs. We brought the body over here during the night and are having it embalmed with the intention of removing it to the family burying ground in Oregon. She died happy, rejoicing in her Savior without a cloud or a pang, saying :All is right; I'm going home. It is easy to die. " Carl and I expect to be back Friday evening of the week.
