Hattie Irene Crawford
Hattie Irene Crawford died at Sierra Health Care Center in Davis on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 at age 92.
Mrs. Crawford was born Aug. 17, 1913 in Oil Trough, Ark. to Ed and Nova (Patterson) Pasley.
She had been a Yolo County resident for one year and a Dixon resident for 61 years.
She worked as a caterer, baked pies at the Milk Farm Restaurant; operated the Dixon Livestock Yard restaurant; catered meals for the Rotary and Lions clubs, weddings and food events in Dixon; cooked and delivered meals to Dixon seniors and the Head Start Program.
She won blue ribbons for her cooking at the Dixon May Fair.
She was selected as Dixon's Citizen of the Year in 1996.
When she died, she was the longest standing member of the Dixon Methodist Church.
She also served on the church's board, was head chef for the annual Harvest Dinner and Christmas Bazaar, and chairwoman for food and garden booths at the May Fair. She was a founding member of the Wednesday Evening Circle, a Christian Woman's group.
With her husband she organized the Moose Lodge and was their first Senior Regent, receiving the College of Regents Degree.
She also received the Co-Worker of the Year Award from Mooseheart, Ill.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and served as Noble Grand, thus becoming a member of the Past Noble Grand Club.
She also served on the Dixon Senior Citizens board of directors and advisory board for the city of Dixon.
Survivors include Mrs. Crawford's children, Faye LeClair of Davis, Ray Crawford Jr. and his wife Dianne of Klamath Falls, Ore., Sam Crawford and his wife Mary of Woodland; her grandchildren, Shelley Simas and her husband Chris; Lance LeClair; Terri La Brie and her husband Joe; Bret Crawford and his wife Nikki; Bart Crawford and his wife Megan, Traci Morrow and her husband K.C.; Brad Crawford and his wife Alisha; Ed Renick and his wife Katie; Angie Hayes and her husband Jake and Anna Renick; 24 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Christine Klinge of Davis and Luella Guaydacan of Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Everett Crawford Sr.; her parents; and her brothers, Bill and Tom Pasley.
The family requests memorials in Mrs. Crawford's name be directed to the Dixon Methodist Church.
Services: Viewing is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 569 First St., Dixon.
A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Dixon United Methodist Church, officiated by Reverend Cathy Morris.
Interment will be private at the Dixon Cemetery.
Carpenter's Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
CREAMER
John Laurence Creamer
John Laurence Creamer died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at age 63.
Born Aug. 26, 1940, in Woodland, Mr. Creamer graduated from Esparto High School. He was a member of Operating Engineers for 35 years as manager of an asphalt plant. He retired eight years ago.
Survivors include his wife Ruschalle Creamer; sons, Greg Creamer and wife Lynne and John Creamer, all of Winters; grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, John Cody, Gregory, Michelle, Meghan, Monica, Mallory, Jessica and Jenna Creamer, all of Winters; great-grandson, Chris Creamer of Winters; mother, Gertrude Milton of Esparto; brothers, Ken Creamer of Esparto and Terry Creamer of Rainier, Ore.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Creamer; daughter, Kimberly Creamer and brother, Frankie Creamer.
The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Capay Cemetery, Esparto.
CREAMER
Julia "Judy" Wager Creamer
Julia "Judy" Wager Creamer died in her home in Esparto, Monday, Aug. 9, 2004 at age 57.
Mrs. Creamer was born Nov. 17, 1946 in Chico. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Creamer Sr. of Esparto, ex-husband Rodney Mays of Chico, daughters Tina Mays Mace of Woodland, and Thelma Mays Patterson of Chico. She is also survived by her brother Mike Wagoner of Indiana, sister Darlene Brown of Oroville, grandsons Billy Patterson Jr. of Chico, James Linder of Oklahoma, granddaughter Roxanne Linder Crawford of Idaho and great-granddaughter Roxanne Marie Linder of Oklahoma City, Okla. She is also survived by several step-children, step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services: A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at the clubhouse of Country Villa Mobile Estates, 26262 County Rd. 21 A, Esparto. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
CREAMER
Kimberly Ann Creamer
Kimberly Ann Creamer died in Sacramento on Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at age 41.
Born Dec. 23, 1961, in Fairfield, Ms. Creamer had been a Yolo County resident for 30 years. She graduated from Vacaville High School. She worked for the U.S. Post Office as a rural mail carrier.
Survivors include her sons, Ryan Creamer of Vacaville and Matthew Creamer of Winters; parents, John and Ruschalle (Davis) Creamer of Winters; brothers, Gregory Creamer and wife Lynn and John Creamer, all of Winters; numerous aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.

CRENSHAW
George L. Crenshaw
George L. Crenshaw, DVM passed away at Alderson's Convalescent Hospital in Woodland, Ca. on Monday, May 19, 2003, due to Parkinson's Disease and Pneumonia. He was 81 years old. He was born in Escondido, Ca. on Nov. 3, 1921 to George and Gretchen (Huffman) Crenshaw, both of whom predecease him.
Dr. Crenshaw graduated from Escondido High School in 1939. He then attended California Polytechnic College from 1941 to 1943. After graduating he then joined the United States Coast Guard in late 1943 and then transferred to the U.S. Navy, joining the V5 program at St. Olaf's College, Northfield Minnesota. Upon the completion of his service he continued his studies at Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan, graduating with honors in 1950.
He was a practicing veterinarian first in Chowchilla and then in the Marysville/Orland area until the end of 1952. Deciding to go into the research field he worked for Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, Michigan from 1953 to 1955. Returning to Orland, Ca. in 1955, Dr. Crenshaw opened a Veterinary Hospital from which he served the citizens of the area. He became an extension Veterinarian for the UC Davis teaching hospital from 1964 to 1973. Dr. Crenshaw returned to his private practice, and consulting in 1973. He was an avid fly fisherman and gardener.
Dr. Crenshaw is survived by his wife Nancy (Porch) Crenshaw and a son, James Crenshaw and wife Cynthia, all of Woodland; a daughter, Gretchen Adams of Fairbanks, Alaska; grandson, Justin Washabaugh and wife Jennifer of Brookings, Ore., grandsons, David and William Crenshaw of Woodland, Ryan Adams of Chico; great-granddaughter, Rachel Lee Washabaugh, a sister, Martha Verdugo and husband Ted of Escondido, and his cousin, Betty (Stewart) Ford of Portland, Ore.
No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled by his family at a later date.
CRESPO
Fernando "Fred" Crespo
Services Friday for Fred Crespo
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville for Fernando "Fred" Crespo, 67, who died March 22, 1992 in his Vacaville home after a long illness.
Rev. Jay Constant of the Winters Freewill Baptist Church will officiate, and the interment will follow in the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
A native of San Jose, Crespo was born November 14, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II and a construction worker, employed by D. D. Altamet and Gordon Ball Co.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mary Puerta Crespo of Vacaville; a son, Robert of Vacaville; grandchildren, Eric, Natasha, Crustal and Robert, all of Vacaville; and a brother, John of Winters.
BEALL
Robert D. Beall
Robert D. Beall died at Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet, Ill. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 at age 83.
Mr. Beall was born May 25, 1922 in Jerome, Idaho. He had been a Yolo County resident for 38 years. He was a high school graduate. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1945. For 35 years, he worked at Kimzey Welding in Woodland.
Survivors include Mr. Beall's daughters, Sharon Morelli and her husband Richard, Linda Metheney and her husband Ricky, Carole Getson and her husband Rick; his son, Bradley Beall; his granddaughter, Michelle Jones; his grandsons, Glenn Kelley and his wife Marilyn, Mike Kelley and his wife Leigh, Jeffery James, Aaron James, Kris Beall and his wife Ericka, Toby Beall, Jamey Beall, Casey Beall; six great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Claire Jones, Edith Kimzey and Jean Kimitz. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Services: Services were held Sept. 13 for Mr. Beall. Interment is at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill. Goodale Memorial Chapel of Lockport, Ill. assisted the family with arrangements.
