Marjorie Helen Inman (1st of 2 obituaries)
Mrs. Marjorie H. Inman passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at Woodland Memorial Hospital in Woodland. Born on July 29, 1923 in Galena, Kansas, she was 79 years old.
Mrs. Inman was raised in Kansas where she graduated from high school. She has been a resident of Winters since 1948. She was a member of Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church in Winters and the Senior Citizens Club of Winters.
She is survived by her son Ronald Inman of Woodland; brother John Brown and his wife Ruth of Davis; sister Violet Cleveland of Shreveport, Louisiana; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a stepbrother, Allen Bond of Worley, Idaho and her sister-in-law Pat Brown of Woodland.
Friends were invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church, 418 Haven Street. Viewing began at 10 a.m., burial followed at the Winters Cemetery.

INVERNON
Delfina R. Invernon
Delfina R. Invernon of Poolesville, Md. died at her daughter's home in Poolesville, Md. Monday, April 25, 2005 at age 87.
Mrs. Invernon was born May 26, 1917 in El Paso, Texas to the late Victor Romo and Viviana Lopez Ramirez. She had been a Winters resident for 42 years. She was involved with My Stuff Bags Foundation in Westlake Village, taught dancing and piano and volunteered as a piano player for local organizations.
Survivors include Mrs. Invernon's children, Louis Invernon of Paradise, Armida Joyner of Sedley, Va., Pilar Garrett of Poolesville, Md. and Raymond "Ray" Invernon of Naples, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

KINGERY
Eleanor Martha Kingery
Eleanor Martha Kingery died in Woodland Memorial Hospital Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at age 81.
Born Feb. 4, 1920, in Worthington, Minn., Mrs. Kingery was the only child of the late Oscar and Mary (Roberts) Moe. She attended high school in Worthington, and then was marriage to Doyle Kingery on July 31, 1937. She moved to Woodland in the summer of 1963 and worked for Sears, Roebuck & Company until her retirement in 1979, managing the catalog store on Main Street. She was a member of the Yolo County Business and Professional Women's Associating. According to her family members, "she had many interests in life including bowling, camping with friends, fishing and she particularly loved to spend her retirement years with her husband traveling in their RV." She was also extremely active with the American Legion Post 77 Woman's Auxiliary, in Woodland, where she held many posts and was also the President of the Auxiliary.
Mrs. Kingery is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Flesch and husband Francis of Great Falls, Mont.; son, Robert Kingery and wife Joan of Woodland; granddaughter, Alice Flesch of Helena, Mont.; grandsons, Matt Flesch of Radcliff, Ky., and Jon Kingery of Woodland; and great-grandchildren, Roger and Brooke of Helena, Mont., and Caitlin of Radcliff, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Kingery, on July 31, 1937.
A graveside committal service is scheduled at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 1, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland. Friends and family are invited to attend.
The family requests memorials be directed to American Legion Woman's Auxiliary, Post 77, Post Office Box 43, Woodland, 95695, in her behalf.

KINGHAM
Inez Kingham
Inez Kingham died Feb. 24, 2001, at a residential care home in Woodland. She was 79.
Born June 21, 1921, in Oakland, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants, Henry and Pierina Cerrina. She was raised in Oakland and graduated from Technical High School in 1938.
She marriage Edward Kingham in 1944, and shortly thereafter they moved to Santa Cruz County. There, her husband became a well-respected building contractor for the next 30 years. They also raised a family there and served in the ministry of Twin Lakes Church and other Christian ministries.
She was a homemaker and inseparable partner to her husband. In later years, after her children were grown, she worked as a bookkeeper in her husband's business. She excelled in the kitchen crafts and home arts.
Her retirement years were spent in Auburn, Roseville and Palm Desert. She and her husband had just celebrated 54 years of joy-filled marriage when he died in 1998.
She is survived by her brother, David Cerrina and his wife, Josephine of Bakersfield; sister-in-law, Lois Davis of Paradise; son, Ronald Kingham and his wife, Cathy of Woodland; daughter, Judy Davidson and her husband, Duane of Nevada City; seven nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is planned for Saturday at 11 a.m. at Woodland Bible Church, 433 California St. in Woodland. Interment will be at the Roseville Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by McNary's in Woodland.
BAGWELL
Bobby G. Bagwell
Bobby G. Bagwell passed away on April 22, 2004 in Tupelo, Mississippi, from complications of diabetes. Born on January 25, 1932 in Pontotoc, Mississippi, he was 74 years old.
Mr. Bagwell and his family resided in Winters until the early 1970s when they moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where he was a restaurant manager for about 10 years. He then moved to Pontotoc, where he owned and operated a gas station until his retirement several years ago.
He is survived by his three children, Rickey Bagwell, Nancy Bagwell Balwin and Bobby Bagwell, as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherron Bagwell, on Sept. 9, 1990.
Services were held in Pontotoc on Sunday, April 25, 2004.
BACA
Darry "Al" (Villareal) Baca
Darry "Al" (Villareal) Baca died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999 at a local hospital. He born April 27, 1929 to Deciderio and Irene Baca in Prescott, Arizona, and was raised and educated in various places due to his father working for the railroad.
In 1947 he joined the United States Navy. After several years of service he attended Supply Corps training where he worked for the next 13 years. He retired after 24 years of service as a Lt. Commander.
On March 23, 1962 he marriage Betty Olson-Cornwell in Long Beach, California. In 1971 they moved to Paradise. Mr. Baca went to work for the Beacon Oil Service Station in Paradise where he worked from 1971 to 1974.
In 1973 he moved to Chico. In 1976 he went to work for Short Stop, located by the fairgrounds, and retired in 1986. He volunteered for A.R.C. and Easter Seals for 10 years.
Mr. Baca enjoyed helping people and worked the soup kitchen for five years at Calvary Chapel of Chico.
Mr. Baca is survived by his wife, Betty, of Chico; sons Dessie Baca of Tucson, Arizona and David Baca of Copperas Cove, Texas; daughters, Debbie Bracamonte of Tucson, Arizona, Cindy Janto of Phoenix, Arizona, Rebecca Siren of Cool, Michelle Scheuermann of Winters, and Mary Saip of Durham; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Baca of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Mary Lou Hernandez of Tucson, Arizona, and Juanita Flynn of Seattle, Washington; numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Baca was predeceased by a son, Tom Baca, in 1989, a brother, Valentine Baca, in 1980 and a sister, Mary Ochoa.
A celebration of Life for Darry "Al" Villareal Baca, 70, of Chico, was held at 1 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 20, 1999 at Calvary Chapel of Chico, 1301 Broadway, Chico.
Private inurnment will take place at the Chico Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Chapel of Chico in care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
GONZALEZ
Ruth Marie Gonzalez
Mrs. Ruth Gonzalez passed away on June 2, 2000. Born on July 11, 1937 in San Francisco, she was 62 years old.
Mrs. Gonzalez lived in Santa Rosa, for many years. She worked as a presser for Country Washboard Cleaners in Santa Rosa. She moved to Winters 10 years ago. Family members said she loved Bingo and was always ready for a trip to Reno.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her step-son Dean Hawkes of Red Bluff, and her sister Rosalie Saldana of Winters.
At her request no services will be held. A private ceremony has taken place. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith’s Colonial Chapel in Winters.
