JULL

Marguerite Anna Noel Jull

Marguerite Anna Noel Jull died at Davis Sierra Health Care Hospital Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 at age 92.

Mrs. Jull was born May 20, 1912 in Sacramento to Eva and Frank Noel and had been a Yolo County resident since 1936. She was a secretary for the state of California, Woodland High School and UC Davis Library prior to her retirement. In addition, she a 50-year member of Yolo Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron in 1971. She served on the council of Job's Daughters and the Rainbow for Girls. She was also a charter member of the Needles and Friends Quilting Group at the senior center, a volunteer for Yolo County and the City of Woodland, and a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include Mrs. Jull's daughters, Yvonne J. Johnson of Woodland, Sharon Ann Jull and her partner Donna Schommer and Judy J. Jull Erickson and her husband Erick all of Sacramento. She is also survived by her grandsons Daniel Erickson and his wife Stacey, Mark Erickson and his wife Nikki, all of Sacramento, David Jull-Johnson and his partner Stephen Patterson of Alameda, and Michael Johnson and his partner George Morgan of San Jose, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harley Edward Jull and her son-in-law, Kenneth Edward Johnson.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Jull's name be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617-1014.

Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 at Woodland Cemetery and will be conducted by Yolo Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.

INGRAHAM

Marjorie Mitchell Ingraham

Marjorie Mitchell Ingraham died at her home in Fair Oaks on July 20, 2005, after having suffered a series of strokes. She was 82.

A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis, 27074 Patwin Road.

Born in Calexico on March 15, 1923, she attended schools in Los Angeles, worked as draftsman engineer building mine sweeps during World War II, and graduated from UC Berkeley in 1948.

She came to Davis in 1958 when her husband took a faculty position with the university. She raised her family in Davis, and for several years she worked as a laboratory technician in the department of genetics. She and her husband moved to Winters in 1981.

She is survived by her husband, John Ingraham of Fair Oaks; her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Thomas Vigran of Fair Oaks; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Luanne Ingraham of Fort Collins, Colo.; and six grand children, Anna Vigran, Lisa Vigran, Dana Vigran, Ian Ingraham, Elena Ingraham and John Ingraham.

TAYLOR

Lillian Birda Taylor

Lillian Birda Taylor passed away at home Nov. 6, 2004 in Woodland. Lillian was born in Pontiac, Mich. March 28, 1918. She raised three children in Union Lake, Mich., where she was active for many years in the Methodist Church, the Square Dancing Guild and the local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Lillian and her family moved to California in 1963. She went to work as a nurse's aide and later worked for Montgomery Wards, where she met her second husband, Charles Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor moved to Woodland in 1986 to be near her daughter, Karon Stradley. Charles and Lillian both enjoyed volunteering at the Woodland Senior Center.

Lillian was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Munn; by her second husband, Charles Taylor and by her son, Ray Munn. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karon and Sam Stradley of Woodland; her son, Earl Munn of Grand Rapids, Mich.; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Mrs. Taylor's name may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

SCOTT

Kenneth Charles Scott

Kenneth Charles Scott died as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Auburn on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at age 42.

Born May 26, 1960 in Yuba City, Mr. Scott was involved in the construction and carpentry fields since age 14. He loved the outdoors and his horses, and had been looking forward to further training his horse, Penny, and showing her next year.

According to family members, Mr. Scott liked to hunt as well as trail ride.

Mr. Scott is survived by parents Louana and Nick Harden of Guinda and Charles and Lynn Scott of Sacramento; fiancé Marianne Langton; children, Ellakay Fletchall and husband Jonathon of Pittsburg, Kansas, Kendra and husband Michael Rathke of Pittsburg, Kansas, Charles R. T. Scott of Pittsburg, Kansas, Danielle Scott of Rocklin, and Brandon Scott of Rocklin; and grandmother Iona Hackett of Woodland.

He is also survived by grandchildren Mikayla and Trenton Fletchall and Gabrielle Rathke of Pittsburg, Kansas; siblings Thomas Scott of Boulder Creek, Timothy of Rumsey, Rick Amick of Penn Valley, Ken Amick of Sacramento, David Amick of Fair Oaks, Krystyne Croce of Las Vegas, Michelle Scott of Citrus Heights, Richard Harden of Lemoore, and Jeff Harden of Guinda; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St. Woodland from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 8.

A funeral service scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at McNary's Chapel. Interment is scheduled to follow at Capay Cemetery, Esparto.

McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

INVERNON

Raymond Lopez Invernon, Sr.

Services to be held Friday for Raymond Lopez Invernon Sr.

Graveside services will be held in the Winters Cemetery in Winters at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 1991 for Raymond Lopez Invernon Sr. who died March 1, 1991 at the Community Hospital Extended Care Facility in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was 86.

Mr. Invernon was born Aug. 5, 1904, in Zurgena, Almeria, Spain to Francisco and Issabelle Lopez. He attended schools in Spain after which he worked with his godfather in a general merchandise store. At 19 he moved to Cuba where he worked for about a year before moving to Winters. On Jan. 24, 1942 Ray marriage Delfinia R. Ramirez in Reno, Nevada. He worked as a carpenter in the Winters area until 1967 when he went to work for the Winters High School for eight years, retiring in 1975. In 1986 the couple moved to Naples, Idaho, to be near their son.

He is survived by his wife, Delfinia Invernon of Naples, Idaho; two sons, Raymond Invernon of Naples, Idaho and Louis Invernon of Sacramento; two daughters, Armida Joyner of Sedley, Virginia, and Pilar Garrett of Arlington, Virginia; one brother, Frank Lopez of Greenock, Scotland; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

RICCI

Rismo Ricci (1st of 2 obituaries)

Mr. Rismo Ricci died Feb. 8, 2005 at University Retirement Community in Davis. Born March 30, 1910, in Montecatinni, Italy, he was 94 years old.

Mr. Ricci came to Yolo County in 1927 from Italy and settled in Davis in 1936. He worked as a building contractor, building inspector and a Realtor for many years. He served a term as the President of the Davis Chamber of Commerce, and was the founder, along with his wife, of the Paws and Taws square dancing club. He was an avid golfer and noted fisherman and fishing guide, winning several Tahoe fishing derbies. He was a charismatic and dynamic man who will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio and Asunta Ricci, a sister, Nella and his brother, Remo.

Mr. Ricci is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Alfia Ricci of Davis, children, Ron Ricci and his wife Anita of Sacramento and Isolina Ricci of Tiburon. He is further survived by seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel, located at 116 D Street in Davis. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 1275 B St., Davis. Private burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Woodland. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests the remembrances be made in his name to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.

Rismo Ricci (2nd of 2 obits.)

Rismo Ricci died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005 at University Retirement Community in Davis at age 94.

Mr. Ricci was born March 30, 1910, in Montecatinni, Italy. He had been a Yolo County resident for 77 years. He worked as a building contractor, building inspector and a Realtor for many years. He served a term as the President of the Davis Chamber of Commerce, and was the founder, along with his wife, of the Paws and Taws square dancing club. He was a member of the Yolo Fliers Club and the Davis Municipal Golf Course.

Mr. Ricci is survived by his wife of 72 years, Alfia Ricci of Davis; his children, Ron Ricci and his wife Anita of Sacramento and Isolina Ricci of Tiburon; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio and Asunta Ricci; his sister, Nella and his brother, Remo.

RICE

Alan L. Rice

Alan L. Rice died in his Woodland home Thursday, April 1, 2004, at age 45.

Born Aug. 30, 1958, a native of Woodland, he had been a lifelong Yolo County resident. He attended Woodland schools and Yuba College and was a Woodland business owner.

Survivors include his children, Robert Rice, Daniel Rice, Leah Postell and Christopher Rice; father, Jack Rice; mother, Doris Barker; and sister, Linda Rice.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Joseph Rice; and brother, Michael St. Louis.

The family requests memorials be directed to: Alan Rice Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of the West, 186 Main St., Woodland, 95695.

Services: A celebration of life is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 9, at 6 Monterey Circle, Woodland (off West Monte Vista). Interment will be private. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
