Angelina Robles
Angelina Robles died at age 34 on Monday, March 29, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident in the Capay Valley. Born on July 20, 1969, in Davis, Ms. Robles graduated from Esparto High School in 1987, where she was active in Future Farmers of America and enjoyed playing basketball.
Survivors include her mother, Cleofas G. Robles of Esparto, brother Louie and his wife Sara Robles of Esparto; sisters, Theresa and husband Ruben Castaneda, Esthela Cisneros, Delores Robles and her husband Dan Wilson, Lisa and her husband Joey Saragoza, all of Woodland; and brother, Art and his wife Vicky Robles, of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her father, Celso Robles Sr. in 1999, and a brother, Celso Robles Jr. in 1985.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
Services: A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, April 1, at Holy Rosary Church in Woodland. Burial will take place at the Capay Cemetery in Esparto following the funeral mass.

David Javier Mancilla Robles
David Javier Mancilla Robles unexpectedly passed away in Woodland Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at the age of 42.
Mr. Robles was born and raised in Woodland. He attended Woodland Schools and graduated Woodland High School. He was also a parishioner at the Holy Rosary Church. Mr. Robles was employed for 22 years at Woodland Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Robles was preceded in death by his younger sister Patricia Angelica Robles.
Survivors include his parents, Jesus G. and Maria M. Robles. Brother, Jesse Robles; sister, Ludi Wiseman; nephew, Eric Robles as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Holy Rosary Church. The funeral mass is scheduled to be said at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, also at Holy Rosary Church, with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.

Salvador Gomez Robles (1st of 2 obituaries)
Our adventurous and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, godfather and friend was born in La Pinuela, Union de Tula, Jalisco, Mexico, Nov. 11, 1920.
He received his angel wings here in Sacramento, Sunday morning, Jan. 18, 2004 at the age of 83.
Son of Fernanda and Guadalupe Robles. Brother of Dolores Arrellano, Rosario Duran, Francisco Robles, Jesus Robles and Maria Miller.
He was marriage to and shared a family life of 54 years with Josephine Robles.
He was the father of Salvador Robles Jr., and Trudy Robles. He was the grandfather of Salvador Robles III, Francisco Salvador Robles, Luis Antonio Robles Flores and Sofia Robles Castillo. He was the great-grandfather of Baby Cisco, Vanessa, Alina, Nica and Marsina. Uncle, godfather and friend of many wonderful nieces, nephews, neighbors, fishermen, hunters, nature lovers and people he met during his journey on this earth. Man's best friend to Baby and Blue. Sal was an extraordinary outdoorsman loving to fish, hunt, travel, garden and be with his family. He was an infamous storyteller too. His passing was graced with love and a peaceful blessing. We thank all of his family and friends for the love, support and prayers you have shared with us over all of these wonderful years.

RODARTE
Carmen Rodarte
Carmen Rodarte passed away in her sleep from unknown causes on Jan. 19, 2006 in Vacaville. Born in Woodland on Jan. 26, 1972, she was 33 years old. Ms. Rodarte was a lifelong resident of Winters and graduated with the Winters High School Class of 1990. She was a graduate of Western Career College and worked as an optical technician in Vacaville. She served as “soccer mom” for the Vacaville Thunderbirds. She is survived by her daughter Ylianna Rodarte, father Jose Rodarte of Winters, sister Rosa Rodarte of Winters, and brothers Alex, Jose and Sergio of Sacramento and Carlos of Winters, several nieces and nephews, and a friend, Patrick Rothacker and his daughter River Rothacker.
She was preceded in death my her mother, Paula Rodarte. A Rosary was planned for Ms. Rodarte on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. at St. Anthony Church in Winters.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow at the Winters Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Ylianna Rodarte. Memorial donations may be made to the Carmen Rodarte Memorial Fund, Travis Credit Union, P.O. Box 2069, Vacaville, CA, 95696, attn: MSA Dept. McCune Garden Chapel is in charge of the services.
RODDY
Jeffrey Kevin Roddy
Jeffrey Kevin Roddy died at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004 at age 52. Mr. Roddy was born in Sacramento April 26, 1952. He had been a Yolo County resident for 50 years. He attended Gibson Elementary, Lee Junior High and Woodland High School. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1970 and later from Sacramento State College in 1974. He had worked for more than 20 years for the Woodland Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, most recently as a recreation supervisor.
Survivors include Mr. Roddy's brother, Brian Roddy and his wife Toka of Woodland and his nieces and nephews, George Cazares and Mason and Brianna Roddy, all of Woodland. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mason Roddy and his father, Charles Roddy.
The family requests memorials in Mr. Roddy's name be directed to diabetes research.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at John Rogers Hall, Yolo County Fairgrounds, Woodland. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
RODGERS
David Leroy Rodgers
David Leroy Rodgers went home to be with his Lord Feb. 6, 2005 at the Oroville Hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1931 in New Meadows, Idaho to Virgil C. Rodgers and Dorothy L. Schoonover Rodgers.
Ramsey Funeral Home at 1175 Robinson St., Oroville is in charge of the services that will be held Friday, Feb. 11 at the Grace Baptist Church, 3646 Oro Dam Blvd., Oroville at 11:30 a.m. Viewing will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
David is survived by his wife of 11 years and three months, Erma Louise Rodgers, who was his high school sweetheart, three children, David R. Rodgers, Debra Adams, both of Woodland and Cathy (Russell) Scoggin of Esparto, four stepchildren, John Brown and his wife Phyllis of Grants Pass, Ore., Vincent Brown of Oroville, Jeffrey Brown and his wife Christine of Antioch and Loretta Bethel of Rogers, Ark.; grandsons, Jeffrey Hanke and William Scoggin, and step-grandchildren Chuvonna Metcalf, Crystal Brown, Christine Hearne, John Wolfe, Jessica Brown, Matthew Brown, Allen Brown, Jeffrey Brown Jr., Brandie Brown and Katrina Brown and three great-step-granddaughters and ten great-step-grandsons. David loved each of these children as his very own. Susanne Shaw, sister-in-law, a niece and two nephews, also survive him. His father, mother and brother predeceased him.
David was a member of Grace Baptist Church, the Hooker Oak Sams, and the Landmark-Buckeye Lodge Masonic Order of Esparto. He loved to travel and enjoyed the camp outs with his friends of Hooker Oak Sams, even after a stroke that caused the loss of his sight in 2000 and left him unable to drive.
David was a lover of conversation with lots of interesting stories to relate. He was a hardworking man who loved the Lord, his family and was very loving, compassionate, considerate, kind and had a great sense of humor. His laughter was contagious and made you want to share that special moment. He found great satisfaction from his many home projects that he started and finished. He could take a piece of wood, cut, grind and whittle and turn it into a beautiful bird, dolphin, horse or cow. He used his talents with wood in numerous ways that brought beauty and creativity to life. He loved working with heavy-duty equipment as well.
All who knew him and especially his family who loved him so very much will miss David. Those quiet talks with him will also be missed.
RODGERS
Floyd H. Rodgers
Floyd H. Rodgers died Feb. 21, 2001, at his home in Davis, with his family at his bedside. Born Sept. 5, 1924, in Oakland, he was 76.
He was a veteran of foreign wars and was one of the founders and owners of Davis Waste Removal for 37 years. He was also a custodian at West Davis Elementary School for 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma M. Rodgers, and his son, Morris J. Rodgers.
He is survived by his children, Franklin Rodgers, Marie L. Rodgers, Gloria J. Rodgers-Grimes, Michael H. Rodgers and Renee Rogers-Ferguson; sons-in-laws, Peter Grimes, Mordicai Ferguson, Jr., Ron Jordon and Toni Anderson; and daughters-in-law, Danette Rodgers and Susan Rodgers.
Other survivors are his grandchildren, Martha Rodgers-Thomas, Floyd A. Rodgers, Allen Rodgers, Christine Rodgers, Angela Rodgers-Archie, Alaina F. Jordan, Robyn Rodgers-Anderson, Torrey Love, Nicholas Grimes, Tiffany Grimes, Robert Rodgers, Daniel Rodgers, Michelle Rodgers, William Rodgers-Danmyer, Mordecai D. Ferguson III and Jenean Ferguson; and great-grandchildren, Anika Jordan, Jasmyne Davis, Jayde Jordan, Rondelle Jordan Jr., Alayna Anderson, Angelique Anderson, Kyle Love, Tommy Baylor, Emma Grimes, Brandon Rodgers and Ariel Thomas.
Friends are invited to a visitation Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D St. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Davis, 770 Pole Line Road. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery.
