Charles "Chuck" Vinson, III
Charles "Chuck" Vinson III of Garfield, Ark. died at Northwest Medical Center in Benton County, Ark. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at age 37.
Mr. Vinson was born in Woodland Sept. 8, 1967 to Charles Vinson II and Linda Vinson Goeden. He had been a Yolo County resident for two years. He was employed as a carpenter and construction worker.
Survivors include Mr. Vinson's wife of six years, Lila Hammond Vinson and his daughter, Heidelinde also of Garfield; his father, Charles Vinson II and his wife Karen of Bentonville, Ark.; his sisters, Dee Dee Thompson of Bentonville, Ark., Jamie Reeves and Andrea Goeden both of Marysville; his brother, Gunther Vinson of Rogers, Ark.; a niece and nephew of Bentonville, Ark. and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sue Goeden and his grandfather, Howard Ward.
Services: A memorial service was held Jan. 29 at the Pentecostal Church in Rogers, Ark. with the Pastor Norman Hamby officiating. Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers of Rogers, Ark. assisted the family with arrangements.
VINSONHALER
Dianne Rae Vinsonhaler
Dianne Rae Vinsonhaler died in her Yuba City home Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at age 53.
Born Nov. 30, 1948, in Colusa, Mrs. Vinsonhaler had been a Yuba City resident for two years and previously a resident of Woodland. She worked for Valley Records in Woodland. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Vinsonhaler is survived by her husband, Donald Vinsonhaler of Yuba City; son, Alex Parrish of WallaWalla, Wash.; daughter, Farah Vaughn of Placerville; sister, Dawn Darlene Robinson-Warner of Gurnville; two grandchildren; stepson, Cory Vinsonhaler of Citrus Heights; and stepdaughter, Elaine Vinsonhaler of Rio Oso.
A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, at Holycross Memorial Chapel, Yuba City, with Pastor Ray Davis officiating.
The family requests memorials be directed to Fremont Rideout Hospice, 970 Plumas St., Yuba City, 95991.

VITARELLI
Anthony Edward Vitarelli
Anthony Edward Vitarelli, a longtime Davis resident, died Nov. 22, 2004, at his home in Rancho Cordova from natural causes. He was 91.
A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road.
Born Feb. 7, 1913, to Annie Gaglione and Joseph Vitarelli in DuBois, Pa., he moved to California in 1950 and went on to own an appliance sales and repair store, "Mr. T.V., " in Riverside. Upon retirement, he moved to Davis to be close to family.
He moved to Rancho Cordova after the death of his wife in March of 1993. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Rossie Syler.
He is survived by his daughters, Joann Delaney and Catherine Bays, and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
VIVERETTE
Ethelyn Jean Viverette
Ethelyn Jean Viverette passed away following a lengthy illness on Oct. 20, 1999 at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield. Born on Feb. 5, 1928 in San Francisco, she was 71 years old.
Mrs. Viverette was a Winters resident for the last five years. Prior to moving to Winters, she lived in Clear Lake for 27 years. She was the owner of My-Lynn's Ceramics until she retired in 1992, and she was a skilled ceramist.
She was a member of the Lower Lake Chapter No. 231, Order of Eastern Star; American Legion Auxiliary, Unit No. 165, Vacaville; and the Supreme Emblem Club No. 447 in Clear Lake.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul Viverette of Winters; daughters, Pattie Barnes of Bremerton, Washington; and Donna Viverette of Denver, Colorado; stepdaughters, Linda Miller of Marina and Mary Cabral of San Jose; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held for Mrs. Viverette on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Winters. Reverend Frank Anderson officiated. Inurnment took place at Fairmont Memorial Park in Fairfield.
von HUSEN
John von Husen
John von Husen, a resident of Davis for the past 20 years, died on Feb. 26, 2005, at his home in Davis. Born June 1, 1953, in Greenbrae, he was 51 years old.
A celebration of his life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tandem Properties building, 3500 Anderson Road in Davis.
He was raised in Chico and later Redding, and attended Enterprise High School in Redding, where he was president of the senior class and quarterback of the football team. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1975 and was a lifelong Beavers fan.
After college, he joined the management program at Bank of America, serving as a bank manager in several offices in Northern California for 24 years. In 2001 he began working in Woodland for the Yolo County Department of Social Services.
He is survived by his wife Paula of Davis; son, Luc Martin of San Francisco; son John von Husen and daughter Kristen von Husen and their mother Sheri Guiton, all of Redding; his parents, John and Benay von Husen of San Francisco and Margaret and Gene Collett of Shingletown; his in-laws, Richard and Alice Storm of Gridley; his sisters, Kavie von Husen of Novato and Tanis Bauguss and her husband Ron of Red Bluff; his brother, Charlie von Husen and his wife Katie of Vallejo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
"John was a wonderful husband, father and friend who was always ready with a joke for any occasion," his family says. "He will be truly missed."
VOELZ
Sandra Lee Voelz
Sandra Lee Voelz died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005 at age 55.
Mrs. Voelz was born Jan. 11, 1949 in Laramie, Wyo. She had been a Yolo County resident for 25 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Woodland for the past 10 years and participated as a deaconess.
Survivors include Mrs. Voelz's husband of 22 years, Richard also of Woodland; her daughter, Merrilee of Sacramento; her stepdaughters, Dannette of Hermosa Beach and Heather of New York City; her grandchildren, Wiley of Hermosa Beach and Priscilla of Sacramento; her mother, Rosalie of Gardnerville, Nev.; her brothers, Larry of Wyoming, Vern of Gardnerville, Nev., John and Matt both of Reno, Nev. and her nieces, Barbara and Jessie both of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her father, Vern Clymer and her sister, Mary Clymer.

Services: Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Calvary Baptist Church, 506 Cottonwood St., Woodland. A funeral will follow visitation at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park following the service. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
VOLKL
Leo J. Volkl
Leo J. Volkl died in Woodland Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 at age 69.
Mr. Volkl was born July 1, 1935 in St. Libory, Neb. and had been a Yolo County resident for 47 years. He worked in construction as owner of Volkl and Sons, Inc. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include Mr. Volkl's wife JoAnn of Woodland, sons John Volkl of Woodland and William Volkl of Richmond, daughter Traci Graham of Woodland, granddaughter Mariah of Woodland, brother Paul Volkl and his wife Myrt of Lancaster, sister Helen Greenwalt and her husband Gene of St. Libory, Neb., grandniece Sharon Travis of Woodland and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Marie Suhlsen Volkl.
