Erica Renee (Petty) Barber
Erica Renee (Petty) Barber died on Friday, May 2, 2003, in Woodland Memorial Hospital, at age 57.
Born Aug. 20, 1945, was a native of Woodland, Mrs. Barber graduated from Woodland High School in 1963 and attended CSU Sacramento. She worked throughout Yolo County and then became a homemaker. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 32 years.
Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband of 38 years, Julius A. Barber; son, Julio A. Barber; daughter, Lili D. Barber, all of Woodland; brother, Mitchell El-Mahdy of Los Angeles and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Petty.
McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 13980 County Road 99 West in Yolo.
BARBER
Robert Anthony Barber
Robert Anthony Barber passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003 at home in Sacramento.
Born Feb. 14, 1943, in Woodland, Ca. to the late Betty and Tony Barber. Robert was raised in Woodland and attended the Holy Rosary Academy there and Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, class of 1960. He received an Associate of Arts in Architecture from Menlo College in 1962 and graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Robert was part-owner/operator of Barber-Rowland, Inc. from 1967 through 1986. In the 70's through the mid-1980's he managed in excess of 15, 000 acres of owned and leased farm land. He was known by many as a charitable man with a kind soul. Along with his parents, his only sister Sondra preceded him in death. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003 at 10 a.m., Saint Joseph Cemetery, 860 West Street in Woodland, California. Any remembrances should be donated to the charity of choice.
BARBOUR
Layne Robert Barbour
Layne Robert Barbour died Monday April 26, 2004 in Woodland, at age 82.
Born in Beckley, W. Va., Mr. Barbour lived in Yolo County for 35 years. He worked in the mobile home industry for 40 years.
Survivors include his sons Daniel Barbour and his wife Edith, of Hesperia, and David Barbour of Oregon; and his daughter-in-law Mary Barbour. He was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Barbour and his sons Jerry and Chris Barbour.
Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel.
Services: A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 30, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
BARCE
Jack Leroy Barce
Jack Leroy Barce died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005 at his home in Woodland at age 75.
Mr. Barce was born March 4, 1929 in San Diego. He had been a Yolo County resident for more than 15 years.
Survivors include Mr. Barce's sister, Frances Zirkle of San Diego and his nieces and nephews.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Barce, no services are scheduled. Cremains will be returned to his nephew. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia Alma Barcellos
Patricia Alma Barcellos died Aug. 14, 2004 in Elk Grove. Loving wife of 63 years to Louis Barcellos. Beloved mother of Glenn, Dale, Bernard, Chris and Robert Barcellos, Ellen Martinez, Mark Barcellos and Faith Thompson. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Formerly of Santa Clara County for the first 46 years of her life, she resided in Lodi from 1968 to 1998 and resided in Woodland, then Elk Grove from 1998 until 2004. Friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, noon until 8 p.m. with the vigil beginning at 7 p.m. at the Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove. The funeral liturgy will be Friday, Aug. 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Five Wounds Portuguese National Catholic Church, 1375 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose. Ronald Joseph Barcelona
Ronald Joseph Barcelona died at Woodland Skilled Nursing Facility Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004 at age 62.
Mr. Barcelona was born March 20, 1942 in San Jose. He had been a Yolo County resident for more than 17 years. He was a truck driver for the Salvation Army for 10 years and a resident of the Woodland Hotel.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Barcelona, no services are scheduled. Inurnment will be at the Public Guardian Memorial in Woodland Cemetery. North Sacramento Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

BARKER
Alfred "Al" K. Barker
Alfred "Al" K. Barker of Macdoel died following a heart attack in Olympia, Wash. Monday, July 8, 2002, at age 64.
Mr. Barker was Yolo County resident for more than 40 years, before moving in Macdoel in 1998. He was employed as a truck driver by TCB Transportation in Hermiston.
Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, Geraldine Barker of Macdoel; daughter, April Kramer of Klamath Falls, Ore.; son, Martin Barker of Grants Pass, Ore.; granddaughter, Paula Kramer; grandson, Rusty Johnson; mother, Bertha Barker; sister and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Ike Standridge; brothers, Tim and Mike Barker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Barker; and brothers, Bobby, Walt and Dennis Barker.
A funeral service were not held. A gathering of friends and family members was held in Knights Landing. Cremation has also been held.
