Isabel (Valadez) Anderson
Isabel Anderson (Valadez) passed away peacefully at home in Sacramento on Feb. 26, 2005. Born October 5, 1941 in Winters, "Chacha" met her lifelong partner Robert Anderson as a childhood playmate; Bob and Chach were to begin their 40th year of marriage this March. She was the beloved mother of Nathan Anderson and Jaime Lynne Anderson, and her "adopted" daughter, Christina, all of Sacramento.
She leaves behind brothers Frank, Emilio, Raymond, Tony, and Felix Jr. and sisters Margaret, Gloria, and Ann, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Ambrosia Valadez, of Winters and was the youngest of nine.
Isabel’s work and passion was teaching; for 25 years she taught at Pony Express, Nicholas, and John Bidwell Elementary Schools in Sacramento, loving her little ones as her own. She loved gardening and spoiling her pet cockatiel Cuckoo and "grand-kitzen" Callie.
The Rosary will be held Thursday, March 3, at 6 p.m. at St. Rose, 5961 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento. Funeral mass to be held Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s, 511 Main Street in Winters, CA.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association, and the family encourages you to consider becoming a living organ donor.
ANDERSON
Leonor Anderson
Leonor Anderson died on Jan. 11, 2000, at Sierra Health Care Center in Davis. Born on May 9, 1916, in El Salvador, to the late Ramiro Monedero and Teresa Brennes Monedero, she was 83.
The widow of Jack C. Anderson, she worked in the insurance industry for many years. She was schooled at The Louvre de Notre Dame in Belgium, then came to California in 1940 and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was marriage in 1941 and her husband preceded her in death in 1975. A son, Jack Anderson, also preceded her in death in 1973.
She enjoyed tennis in her earlier years and was a tennis star in Belgium. She also enjoyed handiwork and dancing. Her travels to El Salvador also were enjoyable.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Davis.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Joseph Monedero of Penn Valley; six nieces, Yvonne Peterson of Seattle, Maureen Shevre of South San Francisco, Julie Monedero of South San Francisco, Claudette T. Paz of Davis, Ivy Nelson of Portland, Ore., and Carmen Monedero; and three nephews, David Monedero of San Francisco, and Edward Monedero and Richard Monedero of Sacramento.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at the Golden National Cemetery in San Bruno at a later date.

Wallace Wayne Foster & John S. Foster M.D.
Sunday morning, April 6, 2003 Wallace W. Foster died from cancer, at age 77.
Monday morning, April 7, 2003, his son, Dr. John S. Foster died from cancer, at age 50.
Services: Rosary is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Woodland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. April 10, 2003, also at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Wallace will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Woodland. John's interment will be in Phoenixville, Pa.

Cherie Noelle Foucheaux
Cherie Noelle Foucheaux died Jan. 5, 2006, at Sutter Davis Hospital. She was 41.
Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Woodland Cemetery.
Born Jan. 20, 1964, in Charleston, S.C., to Douglass and Beverly (McDowell) Foucheaux, she was a resident of Davis and Yolo County for the past 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Douglass Foucheaux Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Foucheaux of Woodland; her daughters, Brandi and Kayla Foucheaux of Santa Cruz; and a son, Robert Barron Jr. of Woodland.
She is further survived by her sisters, Lauretta Bennett and Michelle Foucheaux of Woodland; and Yvonne Foucheaux of Reno; a brother, Douglass Foucheaux III of Santa Cruz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association.

Bessie D. Founds was born October 20, 1922 in Red Bluff. She died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004.
For many years, Bessie cared for the children of Woodland through the Yolo Wayfarer Center, the Woodland Presbyterian Church and the United Methodist Church of Woodland.
She will be remembered for her straight forward approach to life, her strong will and lively sense of humor. She will be missed terribly by those who loved her.

Bessie D. Founds died at Sutter Davis Hospital Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004 at age 82.
Mrs. Founds was born October 20, 1922 in Red Bluff. She had been a Yolo County resident for more than 25 years. She was a child care provider with the Yolo Wayfarer Center, the Woodland Presbyterian Church and the United Methodist Church of Woodland. She was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West.

Richard Royer Fouse (1st of 2 obituaries)
Richard Royer Fouse died on March 19, 2006, at Woodland Memorial Hospital. He was 81.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1924, in Akron, Ohio, to Floyd and Jean (Sadler) Fouse. He graduated from North High School in 1942 and earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from Akron University.
A veteran of World War II, he served four years in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in North Africa, where he served in telecommunications. After his discharge, he went into the aerospace industry and worked as a physicist at Lockheed Martin until his retirement in 1987.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie Fouse of Woodland; daughters Alice Pullin and her husband John of Oceanside, and Sue Sunday and her husband Mike of Colorado; sons Mark Fouse of Woodland, and Scott Fouse and wife Melody; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His sister, Edith Lockhart, preceded him in death.
Private family services will be at a later date.

Dorothy Gladys Fowler
Dorothy Gladys Fowler died in her Woodland home Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at age 77.
Born Nov. 27, 1924, in Woodland, Mrs. Fowler was a lifelong resident of Yolo County. She graduated from Woodland High School in 1943. She met her future husband while in first grade. They marriage in Woodland June 9, 1946. Mrs. Fowler and her husband Bill were the owners of Fowler's Color Carousel for 21 years. She and her husband were co-founders of the Mr. and Mrs. Dance Club. They enjoyed traveling with their trailer and took many trips to the ocean. She especially loved family activities with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Fowler of Woodland; as well as her children, Judy Fowler and companion Toni Ferreira of Sacramento, Jennifer Williams and husband Lonnie of Woodland and Clay Fowler and wife Barbie of Arbuckle. Other survivors include grandchildren, Todd Fechter and fiancee Brenda Martinelli of Woodland, Kendra Harris and husband Bryan and Krista Fechter and fiancee John Pinoli, Eric Williams and wife Kristina of Santa Clarita, Sarah Williams and Chad Williams, both of Woodland, Kyle Fowler and Chase Fowler, both of Arbuckle. Also surviving her are three great-grandchildren, Christian, Trevor and Drew.
A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor John Withem officiating.
