B. Lorraine Reeves
B. Lorraine Reeves died in Sacramento Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at age 54.
Born Aug. 19, 1949 in Fresno, Mrs. Reeves had been a Yolo County resident for 10 years. She was a previous resident of Calaveras County, and worked in home health care for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, Arylis Reeves of Woodland; son, Robert Fish of Red Bluff; daughter, Shiela Hill of San Angelo, Texas; sisters, Blanche James and husband Don, Belle Hollar and husband Joe, both of Woodland, Yalonda Alonzo and husband Manuel of Madison; brothers, Les Brewer of Madison, Archie Quigley and wife Lucille of Springfield, Ore., and Jake and Betty Quigley of Siloem Springs, Ark.; granddaughter, Cheyenne Fish of Red Bluff; grandsons, Chayton Fish of Red Bluff, Braydon and Triston Hill of San Angelo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eunice Fish in 1966; sister, Lee Alec in 1999; and brother, Charles Quigley in 2000.
The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
Services: Private family service to be held.
REEVES
Connie (Young) Reeves
Connie (Young) Reeves died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at age 56.
Born Oct. 9, 1945, in Winfield, Kan., Mrs. Reeves moved to Woodland in 1953. She was a 1963 Woodland High School graduate. She worked for Albertson's in Sacramento for two years.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband, Gayle Reeves; son, Tom Reeves; and granddaughter, Christina Reeves and family, all of Sacramento.
She is also survived by her parents, Melvin and Florence Young of Woodland; sister, Judy Schomber and husband Gerald of Woodland and children Katrina, John, and Paul; aunts and uncles, Allena and Wilbur Young of Citrus Heights and Sheila and Howard Young of Woodland; and cousins, Russ, Joyce, Bob, Brenda, Mike, Janice, and Bruce.
Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Reeves no services are scheduled.
Interment is scheduled at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
The family requests memorials be directed to Sutter General Cancer and Lung, 2801 L St., Sacramento, 95816.
North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
REEVES
Mary Ellen Reeves
Mary Ellen Reeves passed away in Sacramento on Aug. 18, 2000, at the age of 98.
A native of Cainsville, Missouri, Mrs. Reeves graduated from Duke University with a degree in music. She spent most of her adult life as a minister's wife.
Prior to attending college, Mrs. Reeves taught in a one-room school for three years, riding her horse to school each day. She was a long-time member of D.A.R., and a past chaplain. She was a resident of the Sacramento area for 39 years, and was active with women's group at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She was the devoted mother of James Richard Reeves, and Roulou Avila. Loving grandmother of Thomas Tubman, Rene Carrick, Terance Tubman, Bethany Reeves, Stanley reeves, Bradley Reeves, Creighton Avila, and Celeste Avila, she also leaves behind four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harold V. Reeves, former pastor of Winters Christian church.
Funeral services have been held.

Patricia "Pat" Ann (Wenke) Regin
Patricia "Pat" Ann (Wenke) Regin died Dec. 23, 2003, in Vallejo, following a lengthy illness. She was 75.
She was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Olean, N.Y., the daughter of Peter and Mary (Nolder) Wenke. She grew up and attended schools in Olean, surrounded by six brothers and a large extended family.
In April 1947, she marriage Edward Regin. The couple had five daughters. In 1963 they moved to Goleta, where she worked for William Loud and, later, for Frazee Paint. She was divorced in 1971.
In 1980 she moved to Ukiah, remaining there until her retirement from B & B Industrial Hardware in 1990.
She then moved to Anacortes, Wash., where she delivered newsletters for the senior center and escorted many residents of Harbor House, a senior community, to appointments and shopping. At Harbor House she met her longtime companion, Eugene Johnston, whom she loved dearly.
Patricia was known for her dedication to her family, whom she loved and valued above all else. She was, her family said, the utmost a grandma could be - attending her grandchildren's birthday celebrations, graduations and sporting events and playing card and board games on overnight stays with them. She never missed an opportunity to show off her great-grandchildren and grandchildren to friends and neighbors.
Her friends admired her for her love of life and her acceptance of those around her. Her family said they would always remember her warm smile and beautiful laugh.
In 2003 she came to Davis to be close to family. She remained here, in the care of her grandson, Mark Lawton, until November, when she moved into the Mariposa Center in Vacaville.
She was preceded in death by brothers John, William and Steve Wenke.
She is survived by her daughters, Eileen Robblee of Fort Bragg, Carol Lawton and her husband John of Napa, Gail Niemcyk and her husband Dennis of Newcastle, Wyo., Joyce Terry and her husband Mike of Soledad, and Nancy Snyder of Carson City, Nev.; brothers, Paul, Loren and Rob Wenke, all of Olean; grandchildren, Mark Lawton of Davis, Eric Lawton of Hanford, Michelle Richelieus of Salem, Ore., Nicole Taylor of Newcastle, Wayne Comer of Phoenix, Ariz., Amy Adams of Newcastle, Briana Terry of Tustin, Sommer Lawton of San Diego, Meagan Niemcyk of Fort Bragg, Bryce Terry of Anacortes, Holly Snyder of Carson City; and great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Morgan, Madison, Maya, Alaina, Kai, Luke and Gabe.
A memorial Mass was held Jan. 17 at St. John's Church in Olean. Her ashes were placed in a family plot in Olean.
A memorial celebration of her life will begin at noon Saturday at 1080 Trinita Terrace in Davis.

Jeffrey Joseph Rehg
Jeffrey Joseph Rehg died peacefully in Berkeley on Sept. 4, 2001 at the age of 42.
He was born on March 2, 1958, in Sacramento and graduated from California State University, Chico.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth of Davis; his brother, Michael; his sisters, Terri, Betsy, Nancy and Susan; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family members attended a memorial service at Muir Beach on Oct. 28.

Robert T. Reich (1st of 2 obituaries)
Robert T. Reich died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 in Sacramento at age 73.
Bob was born April 3, 1931 in Milbank, S.D. He had lived in Woodland for 34 years. Bob graduated from high school in 1949 in Revillo, S.D. He loved sports and enjoyed basketball and baseball. During 1952 - 1954, Bob served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a private he drove an Amphibious Duck and learned to be a boxer.
Bob loved his family and looks forward to seeing them all again one day in heaven. His wife of 49 years, Elaine Reich, continues to make her home in Woodland, along with his loving children, Debi Witham and her husband Ed, Russell Reich and his wife Victoria and Regina Draper and her husband Dave. He loved his grandchildren, who filled his life with love and laughter, who also live in Woodland. They are Jesse, Andy, Jamie, Michael, Mathew, Christine, Miguel and Thomas Witham, Carlos Barahona, Alex, Teddy and Rusty Reich and Darin, Dan, Rachel and Mari Draper.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13.
Robert loved serving the Lord and held many positions within the church. His children want all of you to know that because of Bob's love for the Lord, they too have a personal relationship with Jesus and strongly believe that their lives, marriages and family are what they are because of their love for the Lord.

REID
Byron Dudley Reid
Byron Dudley Reid, 81, of Winters, passed away on Sept. 5, 2004. He was a life long resident of Winters. He graduated from Stanford University and was an area farmer most of his life. He was born on Feb. 17, 1923 and passed away at St. John's Convalescence Hospital in Woodland.
Dudley was an active supporter of the arts and enjoyed traveling around the world collecting art works that he liked.
He was preceded in death by his parents Byron Dudley Reid and Maude Emma Lewis Reid, and by his sister Virginia Roeber.
There will be no services at his request.
