Frances Marie Ebenhardt
Frances Marie Ebenhardt died at Alderson Convalescent Home in Woodland Friday, April 29, 2005 at age 91.
Mrs. Ebenhardt was born Feb. 9, 1914 in Philadelphia. She had been a Yolo County resident for 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Holy Rosary Women's Club.
Survivors include her companion and friend, Bettye Sheets of Woodland. He was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ebenhardt.
Mrs. Ebenhardt wished that donations in her name be directed to the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California, P.O. Box 1824, Sacramento, 95812.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Ebenhardt, private graveside services are scheduled. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors is assisting the family with services.
EBERLE
John Richard Eberle
John Richard Eberle died July 16, 2004, at Courtyard Healthcare. Born Aug. 14, 1961, in Herkimer, N.Y., he was a 15-year resident of Yolo County. He was 42 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carlton J. Eberle, in 1994.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Eberle, and several siblings.
Arrangements were made by the North Sacramento Funeral Home.

EBERLE
Sarah Jane Eberle
Sarah Jane Eberle, born Sarah Jane Ramsey on Valentine's Day 1934, died May 12, 2005, after a battle with cancer. She was 71.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at University Covenant Church, 315 Mace Blvd. in Davis.
She was born in Winnemucca, Nev., after which her family moved around in Nevada, spending time in Verdi, Paradise Valley, Tonapah and Battle Mountain. From Battle Mountain, the family moved to Sacramento in 1947, where she completed high school at San Juan High School.
She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from California State University at Sacramento in 1955 and qualified as a certified public accountant in September 1983.
She met her husband-to-be, Milt Eberle, in 1954 and marriage him in 1955. They moved to Davis in 1969, where they remained. She worked as a certified public accountant from her home from September 1987 until September 2004.
She also served as a reserve Yolo County Deputy sheriff from 1982 to 1992, and trained with the Red Cross as a disaster coordinator. She also worked with the Davis Police Department as a reserve member, working in communications as a dispatcher.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Milton Joseph Eberle, retired brigadier general with the U.S. Air Force; her daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Mike Rita of Davis; her son, Milton J. Eberle II and her daughter-in-law Lisa Eberle of Davis; adopted daughter and son-in-law, Nanci and Ed LaRue of Dixon; and brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Diane Ramsey of Sacramento.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Eberle, Thomas Brinigar, Gary Eberle, Victoria Brinigar and Richard Brinigar; and adopted grandchildren Casey LaRue, Jeremy LaRue and Taylor LaRue. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her daughter, Valerie A. Brinigar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Sutter Cancer Center, 2800 L St., Sacramento, CA 95816.

EDEN
Jewell W. Eden
Jewell W. Eden died on March 19, 2000, in Davis. Born in 1906 in Stillwater, Okla., she was 93.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil R. Eden, on Feb. 27, 1999, and her son, Cecil Jay Eden, on Oct. 30, 1999.
She is survived by her son, Bill Eden of Manhattan Beach and his wife Clarice; daughter, Dorothy M. Biller of Bakersfield; daughter-in-law, Jackie Eden of Davis; three brothers; one sister; six grandchildren, Gary Eden of Manhattan Beach, Larry Biller of Portland, Ore., and his wife Barbara, Ken Biller of Redondo Beach and wife Cindy, John Biller and his wife Peggy, Kathy Groth of Davis, and Craig Eden of Davis and his wife Beth; and 16 great-grandchildren.
There will be no service.

PIERCE
Daisy Marie (Mermod) Pierce
Daisy Marie Pierce (Mermod) passed away on June 28, 2005. She was born on Aug. 9, 1919 and was marriage for 60 years to Jack Pierce. She was the daughter of Horace and Rosa Mermod. Daisy worked for the federal government for over 50 years, retiring in 1983. She graduated from Winters High School in 1937 and Western Business School.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Mermod; her sister, Mae Dickens; also by her nieces and nephews Renee Borenstein, Bruce Kalin, Michele Zemech, Denise Rainey and Jack K. Mermod, plus many grand-nieces and nephews, and six great-grand nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be held at the Winters Cemetery at a later date. No services will be held.
PIERCE
Kenneth Lee Pierce
Kenneth Lee Pierce, of Brookings, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at his home, of natural causes. He was 60 years old.
Mr. Pierce was born on March 22, 1942, in DeSoto City, Missouri, a son of Eldon Pierce and Edith Williams Pierce. He was raised and educated in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1966.
Following his military service, he moved to California and began working as an elevator mechanic. During his career, he was employed by Armor Elevator, US Elevator and most recently, Bay Are Rapid Transit. He retired early due to illness.
Mr. Pierce was an unselfish and kind man and was especially generous with his time to help others. He was well respected in the workplace by both subordinates and peers and developed lasting friendships. He had a talent for making others smile and many times, said "If you put a smile on your face, it sets the tone of the day."
Mr. Pierce raised Apoloosa halter horses along with his wife, Diana. Together, they owned and operated Pierce Apoloosas Ranch in Winters.
He also enjoyed doing carpentry work and refurbishing vehicles.
He is survived by his wife Diana, of Brookings; three daughters, Christine Evans of Livermore, Claudine "Wendy" Garcia of Vacaville and Laurie Pierce of San Diego; three brothers, Gordon Jett, Charles Jett and Larry Pierce; three sisters, Jeannie Wittenburg of John Day, Oregon, Joan Lawry of Portland, Oregon and Pattie Pierce of Pomona and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
PIEARCY
Buddy Piearcy, Jr.
Buddy Piearcy Jr. of Redding died Monday, Feb. 20 at age 62.
Mr. Piearcy was born March 5, 1943 in Montebello. He had been a Yolo County resident for about two years. He worked as an electrician and had served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include Mr. Piearcy's sister, Elaine Harris of Bakersfield and his brothers, Sam Piearcy of Redding and Dan Piearcy of Bakersfield.
Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Piearcy, no services are scheduled. The Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel of Redding is assisting the family with arrangements.
