Augusta S. Claypool
Augusta S. Claypool died at her home in Davis on April 25, 2004. She was 92 years old.
Born Nov. 18, 1911, in Sandpoint, Idaho, she was a loving mother and homemaker for 66 years, her family said. She loved cooking, gardening and playing golf, at her husband's request.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence L. Claypool.
She is survived by her children, Rodger L. Claypool of Mammoth Lakes, Brian Claypool of St. Marys, Pa., Larry Claypool Jr. of Valley Springs, and Jeanette Claypool of Gresham, Ore.; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Northern California, 5213 Garfield Ave. in Sacramento.

Coulter Carlton Claeys
Coulter Carlton Claeys died at home with his family by his side.
He was 88 years old. Preceded in death in 1998 by Muriel Biven Claeys, his wife of 60 years; and in 1996 by his son, Stephen.
He was born in Martinez to early settlers of Contra Costa County. His father Raymon was mayor, police commissioner and longtime city council member of Martinez.
Coulter attended Martinez schools and graduated from Alhambra Union High School in 1935. He attended Heald Engineering College in San Francisco. Called to military duty in 1942, he served in the Army Intelligence branch on Treasure Island until the end of World War II.
Coulter was third generation owner of A. Claeys Feed, Fuel and Building Supply. In 1967 he closed the business to become a rancher and investor.
His entire life he was an avid hunter and snow skier, becoming a dedicated golfer the past seven years. He fulfilled a lifelong dream of going on an African safari in 1994.
Coulter is survived by his sister, Vivian Costanza of Pittsburg; his children, Michael of Winters, Robin Norton and her husband Stan of Concord; Kathleen Archer and her husband Gary of Dixon; Jacqueline of San Diego; and daughter-in-law, Hazel Claeys of Utah. His loving grandchildren are Danielle, Michael, Lisa, David and Nicole. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Isabel, Kane, Jessica and Sarah.
The family asks that any remembrance be in the form of a donation to cancer research of your choice or Kaiser Hospice, 200 Muir Road, Martinez, 94553.
Viewing will be held Sunday, May 1 from noon to 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m. at Ouimet Funeral Home, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 5562 Clayton Road, Concord. Reception immediately following Mass at the St. Bonaventure Hall. Interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Coulter Carlton Claeys died at his home in Martinez Sunday, April 24, 2005 at age 88.

Albert Frank Andradez
Albert Frank Andradez died in his Woodland home Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at age 50.
Born Feb. 15, 1951, in San Francisco, Mr. Andradez grew up in Yolo County and attended local schools. In 1975, he went to work for the Yolo County Department of Agriculture, where he worked as an agricultural and standards technician and was a member of the Yolo County Heavy Rescue Squad. According to his family members, "he was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed working on his cars, gardening and reading."
Mr. Andradez is survived by his wife, Teresa; sons, Albert Jr. and Adrian; three sisters; a brother and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Andradez and mother, Josephine Andradez.
A memorial service is scheduled at 7 p.m., today, Friday, Feb. 8, at Kraft Bros. Funeral Chapel, Woodland. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Rickie Bruce Andreas
Rickie Bruce Andreas of Woodland died Jan. 26, 2005. He was 36.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodland United Fellowship, 230 N. West St. in Woodland.
Born July 8, 1968, in Washington state, he worked as a construction framer and loved to swing a hammer. He was described as a friendly, caring and compassionate person. He volunteered his time to help others. He enjoyed cooking, being with his family and spending time outdoors along the river. He was a man of great faith and struggled to live his life in obedience.
He is survived by his fiancée, Cynthia Bolding, and her children, Jeremy, Kevin, Codie and Miranda, all of Woodland.
ANDREWS
Billy Joe Andrews
Billy Joe Andrews was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on Dec. 22, 1930, to Jess L. and Browning (Musgrove) Andrews.
He passed away at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, Martinez on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003.
After finishing his schooling, he joined the United States Army and completed his basic training at Fort Ord, Ca. and then continued to be a part of the permanent party stationed at the base, working with Food Services. It was at this time, during the Korean Conflict, that he suffered a serious injury that left him disabled for life.
After leaving the U.S. Army, Billy Joe went to work for the Oakland Meat Company and was a butcher there for over 20 years. Retiring, he settled in Northern California and spent his time pursuing the "first love" of his life - fishing and hunting. From the fields and streams of Yolo, Colusa, Solano, Sutter, Butte and Napa counties. Billy Joe and his "sports partner" Tom 'T.J.' Jones of Arbuckle, gathered many experiences and built many memories. The area around Ivory Mill Station was one of their favorites. Billy Joe shared these memories with his sons, daughters and his many friends and neighbors. When he couldn't be out and about in the woods, he enjoyed "Old Western Movies, " raising "fighting" cocks and was a friend to everyone he met; always willing to lend a hand, help someone with a project, or teach them to fish.
His son, Mark Andrews of Napa; and his daughters, Cathy Hernandez and Sheryl Andrews of San Pablo, and Karen Long of Las Vegas; and his mother, Browning Musgrove of Fresno, Ca. survive Mr. Andrews.
A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Kraft Bros. Funeral Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. Military honors will be presented at the conclusion of the service by the United States Army Military Honor Guard. The family will conduct private burial at a later date.

Carrie Rocha Andrews
Carrie Rocha Andrews died in Woodland Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 at age 94.
Mrs. Andrews was born April 16, 1910 in Terceria, Azores to the late Joseph and Mariana Rocha. She had been a Yolo County resident for one year. She was employed with the Duche Nut Plant for 13 years and she was a member of St. Dominic's Church, a charter member of the church's altar society and a member of the Portuguese society, SPRSI.
Survivors include Mrs. Andrews' daughters, Lucille Freitas and her husband Vic of Orland and Bertha Taresh and her husband Gene of Woodland; grandsons Dan and his wife Debbie Freitas of San Francisco and David Taresh of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Daniel; her son, Richard; granddaughter, Carol Freitas and grandson Michael Freitas.
Services: A rosary and Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 822 A St., Orland. Interment will follow the service at the Catholic Cemetery in Orland. F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary of Orland is assisting the family with arrangements.
