Born on July 30, 1908, Allan A. Halford of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Willowdale, passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Norah Halford. Loving father of Linda and her husband Harton Amos of Westport, Connecticut. Cherished grandfather of Stephen of Westport, Connecticut. Brother of the late Henry, Ernest, Viola, Elsie, Olive, Maude and William. Uncle of Betty, Helen, Barbara, Betty and Beverlee. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor at Ross Memorial Hospital and to all the Red Cross Homemakers who assisted dad and for their wonderful care for the past several years. Born in Orillia, he was the son of the late Reginald and Elizabeth Hill. Gerry served as a pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was also a real estate agent in the Toronto area.
