passed away at Case Manor on Friday, September 3rd, 2004, Emily Ross of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Haliburton and Toronto. Loving wife of the late Edward Ross. Mother of Barbara Cain and her husband Sam of Kinmount and Harry “Teddy” Ross of Toronto. Grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 3. Family and friends will be received at the Monk Funeral Home 6 Helen St. Bobcaygeon (866-393-0063) on Monday, September 6th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Highland Memory Gardens in Toronto at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

passed away quietly at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon on Saturday, August 13th, 2005, Margaret Rhind of Bobcaygeon (neé Kitchener)in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of Harold Rhind for 50 years. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Harold would like to thank the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for their compassionate care. William "Bill" Reid - Bill passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on July 9, 2006. Loving husband of wife Onna Reid. Dear father of Alan (Jo-Ann), Niagara Falls, Larry (Patti Blackley), Niagara Falls, Michael (Tammy), Smithville & Linda Reid, Port Robinson. He will be missed by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one brother John Reid, Allanburg and sister Christina Deschamp, Niagara Falls. He was predeceased by his father John Reid (1941), mother Eunice May Carson (1965), stepfather John Carson & brothers Robert Reid & James Reid. Bill was a Life Member and Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, Welland. He was employed at Standard Steel, Port Robinson until their closing in 1971. He was also employed at Stelpipe, Welland until his retirement in 1998. Friends and family will be received at DAVIDSON WALKER FUNERAL HOME, Welland from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. followed by Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Welland. Dorothy Summers - (Retired from De Havilland) Peacefully, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on November 9, 2005 in her 90th year. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved George and was the mother of Nancy Orchard of Bracebridge and the proud and loving grandmother of Laurie Atherton of Brampton and Rod (Ikuko) Orchard of Toronto. Mom was also blessed with two beautiful great-granddaughters, Sara Atherton of Brampton and Momoko Orchard of Toronto. Dorothy was also the “adopted mom” of Helen Bell of Bobcaygeon. Mom will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. The family would also like to thank her friends and neighbours who helped and sat with her when we could not be here. An extra big thank you to Murray and Ann Taylor and neighbours Ruth and Betty who helped Nancy get to and from the hospital. According to Mom’s wishes, there will not be a funeral. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kawartha Settlers Village “Duggan House”, Bobcaygeon, Ontario or the MS Society would be greatly appreciated.

Walter Schneider - Wally passed away peacefully at home in Alpine Village on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the age of 75. Husband of the late Mary-Jo Schneider. Father of Cindy, Walter, Rosemary and Betty.
