Mary Hamra
At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Friday, July 2, 2004, Mary Hamra, age, of Chatham-Kent, wife of the late Mike Hamra (1980). Born in Zahle, Lebanon in 1913 she was daughter of the late Kaybe and Abraham Warde and was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the (City) Catholic Women�s League of St. Joseph�s Church.
She will be sadly missed by: a niece and 3 nephews in Brazil and a cousin Fr. Fred Zakoor C.S.B. of Windsor.
She is predeceased by a sister Afifi Sawaya in Brazil.
At her request there will be no funeral home visiting and Mary will be taken from the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham to Blessed Sacrament Church on Tuesday July 6th, where visiting will take place from 10 a.m. to 11a. m.Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated there at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham.

Oscar Denys
Surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, July 5, 2004, Oscar Denys of Chatham in his 95th year. Born in Belgium in 1909 son of the late Aloise Denys and Eugenie Casteleyn.
Father of Leona and the late William Strybosch of Strathroy, George and Julia Denys of Chatham, Laurent Denys of Ottawa, Daughter-in-law Aline Denys of Chatham, Father Jozef Denys of Milford, Annie and Antoon Aarts of Holyrood, Rudi and Margaret Denys of Victoria B.C., Sabena Karlozian of London, Johan and Sanda Denys of Toronto, Gabriel and Nel Denys of Chatham, Theresa Denys of London and Regina and Gerry Chedore of London. Sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren and extended family in Belgium and Canada. Oscar was the last surviving member of his family. Predeceased by one beloved son Wilfred (2003) and by five brothers and two sisters. Oscar was fortunate to have the love and support of two successive wives Maria (1969) and Rachel (1998). Oscar had a lifelong commitment to the formation, development and education of his children and grandchildren as well his pursuit for excellence in his occupation as a farmer in tune with the land and nature.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church, 180 Wellington St. W. Chatham. Only immediate family is asked to gather at the funeral home on Friday morning, prior to leaving for the Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Joseph�s Restoration Fund, Development and Peace or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Rose Horuci
At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, July 12, 2004, Rozal "Rose" Horuci, age 96, of Chatham, wife of the late Steve Horuci (1982). Born in Hungary, on December 30, 1907, daughter of the late Rozal and Steve Kokeny, she came to Canada in 1930.
She will be sadly missed by: 3 children, Steven and wife Betty of Waterloo, Ida Mills of London and Margaret Watson of Tupperville, 10 grand and 16 great grandchildren, a great-great grand daughter, and many nieces and nephews as well as a sister in Hungary.
She is predeceased by a sister Cecilia Zemnicky of Tilbury, 2 brothers John and Albert Kokeny in the U.S.A. and 2 brothers and a sister in Europe.
Friends and relatives may call at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 9 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Murray Sample of St. Ursula's Church, officiating.
Cremation will take place and ashes will be buried in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Bothwell.

Peacefully at his residence in Chatham on Monday, July 12, 2004, Godofredo Oliveira Cabral, age 68, of Chatham-Kent, beloved husband of Zelia (Torres) Cabral. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal in 1936, son of the late Francelina Torres and Evaristo DeOliveira Cabral.
Cherished father of Ricardo Cabral and his wife Gorety of Wallaceburg, Fatima Cabral and her husband Eric Gregor of Scarborough and Elizabeth Cabral of Chatham. Dear brother of Santo Cristo and her husband Euginio daSilva, Jose Cabral and his wife Manuela and Carlos Cabral and his wife Yvonne all of Winnepeg.

Norman Belanger
At Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Friday, July 16, 2004, Norman James Belanger, age 78, of Chatham, husband of the late Priscilla (Welch) (1972) and beloved husband of Rita (Myers)(Sterling). Born in Chatham in 1925, son of the late Anne Madeline (Roy) and Joseph Arthur Belanger, he was an employee of Navistar, retiring in 1982 and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He will be sadly missed by: his children; Michael Belanger and wife Nancy of Chatham, David Belanger and wife Sue of Palmerston a daughter Pauline Faul of Cambridge, his step-daughters; Rosemarie and husband Dean Coatsworth of Windsor, Annette Higgins, and Cecile Chauvin and companion Roger Lagace all of Chatham, Yvonne Myers and companion Doug Butler of Grande Pointe, Jean and husband Romain Caron of Pain Court and Diane and husband Roger Caron of Grande Pointe; 2 step-sons, Seville Sterling and Donald and wife Cindy Sterling of Grande Pointe, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a brother Ernest in Windsor, and a sister Annette Noel of London.
He is predeceased by 2 brothers Francis and Joseph and a sister Helen Genereaux.

At Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham-Kent, on Monday, June 7, 2004, Stephen Gazarek, age 87 years of Chatham-Kent, beloved husband of the late Mary Kay (Trojeck) Gazarek (2003).
Born in Liderovice, Czechoslovakia in 1916 son of the late Elizabeth (Motiska) and Martin Gazarek. Stephen worked as a Supervisor for Dover Corporation for over 41 years.
Dear father of Nancy Korol and her husband Mike of Sarnia, Shirley Hitchcock of Chatham and Steve Gazarek and his wife Rosa of Wallaceburg and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by 2 sisters; Frances King, Mary Kosik (2003) and a brother Joseph (1979)
At the family�s request, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.
Cremation will take place.

Nancy Eagen-Johnson
Peacefully at her residence in Chatham on Friday, June 11, 2004, Nancy Marie Eagen-Johnson, at the age of 51 years. Born in Chatham in 1952, Beloved daughter of Yvonne (Crevits) and Leonard Eagen of Chatham.Nancy is retired from International Harvester.
Cherished sister of Carol Whiteley and her husband Rick of Wingham, Wendy Whittal and her husband Lloyd of Thamesville, Darlene Tong and her friend Steve of Hensal, Brad Eagen and his wife Donna of North Buxton and Brett Eagen and his wife Kelly of Chatham. Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.

Alphonse Martens
At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Saturday, June 19, 2004, Alphonse Theophile Maria Martens, age 82 of Maple City Residence Chatham, (and formerly of Raleigh Township) husband of the late Isabella (Burnstein) (1994). Born in St. Jaansteen in The Netherlands on February 18, 1922, son of the late Seraphina (Wagenaer) and Theophile Martens, he came to Canada in 1924. With his wife Isabella (the Vacuum Lady) he co-owned A-1 Vacuum as well as farmed in Raleigh and was a Master Mason for most of his life.Alphonse was a member of Branch 28 Legion and a veteran of W.W. II, serving in The Royal Canadian Air Force, Wing 411 from 1942 to 1945 in The North Atlantic area. He will be sadly missed by his daughters; Theresa "Terri" Dent and her husband Ron, and Paula Ferris all of Chatham, his sons; Phil and wife Lisa of Tennessee, David and wife Gayle, Stephen and wife Cecilia and Christopher and wife Deanna all of Chatham, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Alice Boussen and her husband Frank of Aylmer, Mary VanDeWynckel and her husband Bob of Merlin, and Agnes Deketalaere of Ridgetown and brothers William and his wife Mary and Robert and his wife Julie all of Chatham. He will also be fondly remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.He is predeceased by a son Paul (1949), a sister Eugenia Staal and 3 brothers, Phillip, Anthony and Joseph

WAGG, Kenneth Arthur
WAGG, Kenneth Arthur, 66 died Wed. June 23, 2004 in Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham-Kent Ontario after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Uxbridge Township in 1937 he was the son of Ethel (Bunker) and Arthur Wagg.An an early age Ken worked with his dad at the family-owned lumber mill in Mount Albert but soon realized he needed to spread his wings and so joined the Construction Survey crew of the Ontario Department of Highways where over the years he progressed to Inspector.He was particularly proud of his involvement in the development of the 401. In 1965 he took employment with the Township of Toronto (later to become City of Mississauga) Engineering and Works Department where he dedicated many years of service until he resigned as Engineering Technician in 1993.As he was then taking up residence at East Loon Lake (Thunder Bay) he worked as Manager, Public Works for the Township of Shuniah.Ken finally retired in 2001, moved back east to be closer to his family and to enjoy leisure gardening.Ken was a hard worker and a busy man for most of his life.He built his first home at the age of 19 and endeavoured to build two more over the years.From 1971 to 2001 he had many affiliations with community service such as: Past President, Mississauga Shrine Club; former Ambassador for Rameses Temple and member of same, A.A.O.N.M.S. Toronto; Life Member Westgate Masonic Lodge #734; Geoffrey de St. Aldemar Preceptory #2: Orient Chapter #70 Royal Arch Masons; Director on the boards of Tecumseh Co-op and other housing co-operatives in Mississauga where he held such positions as President, Secretary and Treasurer; Director Bay Credit Union in Thunder Bay; Director, Ontario Good Roads Association; Co-founder Mississauga Sportsman Softball League, Past President CUPE Local #66; Director Mississauga Rainbow Festival; Vice President of the Mississauga Employees Association.Ken is dearly missed by his loving wife, Corinne (Simser), his four children, Colleen Maloney, Cindy (Graham Coulson), Chris Lavender (Lisa), all of Oakville and Carrie Lavender (Tom Benchea), Nashville TN, his grandchildren, Erin, Kyle and Shannon Maloney and newborn, Jaime Lavender.Ken is also survived by his sisters June (Nelson Case), Nancy (Brian Stokes), Shirley (Grant Jones), Joyce (Laverne Hartung), Thelma (Arden Rushton), a brother, Nelson (Bonnie) and many neices and nephews, and his first wife, Louise (Moorhead), all residing in the east.Ken will be greatly missed by his in-laws Hester Jane and Brian, Guy and Jan, Ray and Judy, Marilyn and Albert, Millie and Harry, and by many dear and close friends, especially Rick and Mary, Ron and Janis.He was predeceased by his mom, Ethel, at a very early age, his step-mom, Vera (Silverthorne), and his dad, Art.As Ken wished he has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Friday, July 2nd at 2 p.m. with family visitation at 1 p.m. at Trinity Anglican Church, Blenheim, On.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, with fellowship to follow back at the church.In lieu of flowers donations in Ken's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Trinity Anglican Church, Ellen St., Blenheim, On. would be appreciated.
Andrew Molengraaf
Andrew Molengraaf at age 34 years, after a heroicfight, we have lost a wonderful man. Some knew him only as a businessman with Dig �R� Wright Excavating, while others were fortunate to know him as a son, brother, uncle, friend, husband and father. He was special to us all in so many ways, but most especially to his son Josh and wife Danyce who were the luckiest of all to share in his life so intimately. He also leaves behind his father Brian Molengraaf of Chatham, brothers; Chris (Susan) of Calgary, Marty (Barb) of Kitchener, sisters; Diane DeBliek (Mike) of Dresden and Nancy Molengraaf (fianc� Randy) of Chatham.Nephews; Jeremy, Corey, Stephen and nieces Kimberly, Krista, Lisa, Michelle, Stacey, Alicia and Rebecca who were always a joy in his life. He crosses over to be with his beloved mom Alice who passed away three years ago.

He will be sadly missed by: his sister Katelyn, at home, his grandparents Glenda Bowen and Sandra and Neil Warnock of Chatham and his great-grandmothers, Hazel Warnock, Marjorie Dauphin, and Dorothy MacKenzie all of Chatham,
He is predeceased by his grandfather Glen Bowen (2002) and 3 great-grandfathers.

Loving mother of Gail Schnekenburger, Douglas Couture and his wife Linda, Dennis Couture, Janetand her husband Dr. Shigeru Sugiyama and Donald Couture and his wife Cathy all of Chatham. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bertha Pepper of Chatham and John Mardling and his wife Iva of Chatham.
She is predeceased by 2 grandsons and a brother Glen Mardling.

At his residence in Chatham, on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, Robert James "Bob" Cape, age 69, beloved husband of Jane Elizabeth (Crew). Born in Chatham in 1934, son of the late Lucy (Primeau) and James Wesley Cape, he was supervisor of finance for Union Gas until his retirement in 2003.
He will be sadly missed by his children; Janice Robinson of Chatham, Anne Heathcote and her husband Don of Toronto and Colleen McIlmoyle and her husband Mike of London, 7 grandchildren, Chris, Jasmine, Erin, Elliot, Connor, Kate and Jack and a sister Sr. Louise Cape C.S.J. of Chatham.

Born in Pointe-aux-Roches in 1931, son of the late Clarida (Brouillette) and Alphonse Chauvin, he worked for Jean Maurice Belanger for 28 years, the Separate School Board as custodian for 10 and for Paul Belanger for another 10 years. Marc was a member of The 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Council 9693 and le club de l�amiti�.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Michelle Patrick of Chatham, and Mark Beecroft and his wife Lisa and Michael Beecroft of Windsor, 4 grandchildren, Ian, Evan and Blair Johnstone, and Arielle Beecroft and a great-granddaughter Emily Johnstone; 3 sisters, Agnes Mailloux and her husband Israel of St. Catharines, Lucille Russell and her husband Elmer of B.C. and Estelle Spezowka of Emeryville and 4 brothers Norman and his wife Claire, Clarence and his wife Rachel, and Denis and his wife Paulette all of Pointe-aux-Roches and Gerald "Joe" and his wife Donna of New Brunswick.

Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, Gerald Wilfred Crow, age 68, of Tilbury, beloved husband of the late Carmel (Beaudoin) Crow (1980). Born in Chatham on October 5, 1935 son of the late Marguerite (Oliver) and Wilfred Crow, Gerald was a farmer all of his life, also worked as an employee of Motor Wheel and was a member of St. Peter's Church, Tilbury East.
Loving father of Christine Quinton and her husband Gord of R.R.#2 Tilbury, Michael Crow and his wife Jaime of Chatham. Cherished papa of Lauren, Conner and Ethan. Dear brother of Shirley Peltier and her husband Murray of Tilbury and Garry Crow and his wife Edna also of Tilbury. Brother-in-law of Mary Jane Sauve (Gerard) of Comber, Vincent Beaudoin (Bonnie) of Cobourg, Rosie Hennin of Tecumseh, Roger Beaudoin of Windsor, Colleen Mahoney and friend Mike of Windsor, Donna Beaudoin of Cobourg and special friend of Barbara Cavanagh of Mississauga. Sadly missed by several special nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by a brother Ronald Crow (1991) and a brother-in-law Carl Hennin (2001).

Burial will be in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Tilbury East.

Luigi Magliaro
At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, September 6, 2004, Luigi Michael Magliaro, age 57, of Chatham-Kent, husband of Maria (Caporale). Born in Italy in 1946, son of the late Filomena (Luciano) and Umberto Magliaro, he came to Canada in 1957. Luigi owned and operated Louis Automotive and Air Conditioning on Degge Street.
He will be sadly missed by his children; Carmela Bennett and husband Frank, Dominic Moccia and wife Anne, and Umberto "Al" and his companion Jo Ann Lindsay all of Chatham and Filomena "Mena" Magliaro of London; he was best nonno to; Erica, Ryan and Rachel Bennett, Ashley and Salvatore Moccia, Matteo Magliaro and Jordynne and Darah Lindsay; also surviving are 3 sisters, Joanne Moccia and husband Mario, Mary Caporale and husband Salvatore and Geraldine Moccia and husband Bruno all of Chatham, a brother Pasquale Magliaro and wife Toni of Sarnia, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gary �Chappie� Jefferson At his residence, Chatham, on Monday, September 20, 2004, Gary "Chappie" Jefferson, age 58, beloved husband of Ruthannia (Solomon).
Born in Chatham on May 27, 1946 son of the late Kathleen (Terrell) and Archie Jefferson, he was a driver for Sykes Trucking until illness caused his retirement in 1990.
He will be sadly missed by: his children; Whitney and his wife Denise, and Cheryl Anne Jefferson all of Chatham and Kathleen Jefferson and her companion Scott of Thamesville, 9 grandchildren; Marcus, Andrew, Devon, Kyle, Dylan, Felicia, Nathan, Cody, and Jessie, 2 great-grandchildren and an honourary grandson, Tommy, and a sister Joyce Brown and her son Dennis Brown of Shrewsbury.
