Loving father of Pauline (Doug) Musselman of Kitchener, Janet (Morley) Bauman of Haiti, Linda Brubacher of Victoria, Lori (Kyle) Barber of Stouffville, Ron (Karen) Brubacher, Sheila Brubacher of Elora, and Jeff (Jen) Brubacher of Conneticut, and 17 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother to Vera Wideman, Jean Brubacher, Robert Bauman, Lena (Earl) Martin and Landis (Violet) Brubacher. Pre-deceased by his parents George and Elvina Brubacher, sister Esther, brother in law Abner, children Lucille, and Carl and grandson Owen. Beloved wife of the late Jack Aitchison (1996). Loved mother of Donna and Kevin Ashton of Goderich and Bill and Jane Richardson of Fergus. Special Nana to Katelyn and Jordon Ashton and Miranda and Bradley Richardson.

Sister-in-law of Barb McKeown of Stoney Creek and Bill Bergin of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Margaret McKeown, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Cy Richardson, sister Dorothy Bergin and brother Eddie McKeown and three nephews Vince McKeown, Rob McKeown and Joe Bergin.

MORDEN: J. Allan "Al"
passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener on Monday December 22, 2003, aged 76 years. Al was a former employee of the University of Guelph and before retirement he was an architectural draftsman for the experimental farms in Ottawa for 16 years. Loved and missed by his wife Marguerite (nee Culp) of 55 years. Dad will be missed by Linda Fader and her husband John of Innerkip, Larry Morden and his wife Penny of Stittsville, Brenda McSorley of Mineville, Nova Scotia and Diane Morden of Ottawa. Dear Papa of Ken, Kathy, Jason, Jodi, Sarah, Brian, Alyssa and Sarah and Jessica; great grandfather of Brianna and MacKenzie. Survived by his sister Marion Rush (Bernell) and his brother Grant Morden (Wilma). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Suddenly on Monday July 8th, 2002 following a complication during surgery at the Trillum Health Center in Mississauga, Alan Shepherd of R, R, 1, Belwood, formerly of Mississauga, is his 64th year. Beloved husband of Anna Shepherd (nee Roberts). Remembered fondly by his brother Willie Shepherd of Roseneath, Alan was a retired employee of Carboloy Canada Inc. Lovingly remembered by her nephew John and his wife Ruth and their children Leanne and Paul; her niece Marion Fournier and sons Michael and Jason O'Neill; and sister-in-law Bernice Burns. Predeceased by her mother Gertrude (1937); father Albert (1962); and brother Wilbur (1999). Visitation to be held on Saturday December 27, 2003 from 10 AM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Loving father of Sandra and her husband Larry Howes of Hanover, Jim and his wife Kaye of Arthur, John and his wife Kathryn of Arthur, and Judy and her husband Jim Coffey of Fergus. Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Cecil , Raymond, Stanley, Edwin, Harvey, and his sister Mae French. With deep sadness, Alva's family announces her death, on Wednesday October 9th, 2002, at Groves Memorial community Hospital. Alva died peacefully amongst her family. Treasured mother of Rowe of Inverhaugh and Larry of Fergus. Also survived by four sisters, Helen (Mrs. Douglas Hogarth of Elora), Lucille (Mrs. Grant Sutherland of Fergus), Jean (Mrs. Gordon Campbell of Vancouver), Mary (Mrs. Bert Tuck of West Garafraxa); one brother, Lyle of Fergus and one brother-in-law, Jack Gilchrist of Guelph. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Deans; sister Gladys Gilchrist; father Harry Rowe; mother Myrtle Rowe; sister-in-law Willa Rowe; brother/sister-in-law Harold and Jean Deans and sister/brother-in-law, Marion and Milton Roberts; brothers-in-law, Bert Tuck, Douglas Hogarth, Grant Sutherland and Clifton Darroch and nephew, John Hogarth.
Raised in West Garafraxa, attended Living Springs and Fergus High Schools and graduated from K-W Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Nursed at Freeport Hospital (Kitchener) prior to marriage to Ken Deans with residence in Upper Nichol. Returned to the nursing profession at Groves Memorial Community Hospital until her retirement. Active member of the Eastern Star, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, bridge clubs, quilting groups and many charitable organizations.
Alva's family will receive visitations at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Thursday October 10, 2002 from 7-9 PM and on Friday October 11, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 12, 2002 at 11:00 AM from the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Fergus, with Rev. David Whitecross officiating. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. In Alva's memory, appreciative donations can be made to Hospice Wellington, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

TATHAM: Anela (nee Suter)
passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Friday July 26th, 2002, aged 83 years. Anela was the Sheriff's Secretary at the courthouse in Sackville, N.B. and a secretary at the Mount Allison University. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ron Tatham whom she married in July of 2001. Also missed by her children, Michael Greenberg of Quebec City, Wendy Blanchard of Yarmouth, N.S., Budd Greenberg of Oxford Mills and Robin Raab and her husband Werner of Salem. Grandma will be missed by her seven grandchildren. Remembered by her step-son Paul Tatham and his three children. Predeceased by her daughter Gail Scott of Fergus. Cremation has taken place. McManus: Anne (nee Hanniman)
After a lengthy illness, Anne passed away on Monday May 27, 2002, at her home with her beloved husband of 28 years at her side. Anne is survived by her husband Frank, her parents Paul & Jean Hanniman of Brigden, sisters Elizabeth of Brigden, Debbie of Kincardine and brother Wayne of Sarnia. Anne will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, family and friends and special friends Allyson and Darran Fischer, Shelley Shaw and her great niece Adrianna. Anne was a long time employee of Zehrs and looked forward to and enjoyed her yearly trip to Mexico where she became friends with a great many people.
