passed away peacefully at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus on Monday May 20, 2002, Arlie Rooney of R. R. 1 Elora, in her 82 year. Beloved wife of the late J. Desmond Rooney (1993). Loving mother of Paul, Margaret, Colleen, Brian, Bob and Garth. Arlie is dearly loved by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are entrusted to the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 Church Street, Elora. Cremation has taken place and burial of the urn will take place at a private family service in the Elora Cemetery later this week. Remembrances to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital building fund would be appreciated.

Passed on at Groves Memorial Community Hospital Fergus, on Saturday March 29, 2003 in her 78th year. Audrey will be sadly missed by her loving husband Colvin, daughter Laura and her husband Allan Bieman, granddaughter Sheila and her husband Peter Vanderlaan, great grandchildren Levi and Allana and grandson Kevin; son Lorne and his wife Ruth; son David and his wife Carol grandson Brent, great grandson Blair and granddaughter Crystal. Also sadly missed by her brother-in-law Carlyle Geddes and his wife Margaret and their family. Predeceased by her parents Dave and Jessie Eakett. Friends will be received at Graham A. Following a brief illness at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday February 25, 2003 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Colin Drennan. Mother to Randy Fleet and his wife Jennifer and David Drennan and his wife Alison. Granny to Shannon , Neal and Hana. Indomitable and ever caring she lived life with spirit. Suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday November 17, 2002, aged 58 years. Loved and missed by his wife Wanda of Belwood. Also missed by his children, Mardell Miller and her husband Doug of Guelph, Renée Turner (Ron Cple of Alcona and Mark Turner and his wife Amy of Fergus. Grandpa Turner will be missed by Jacob, Madison and Michael Miller. Remembered by his brother Paul Turner and his wife Judith of Orangeville; his mother-in-law Elva Woods of Belwood and his sister-in-law Myrna Bilton and her husband Rendall of Belwood. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Dorothy Turner and his father-in-law Clifford Woods.

Also survived by a sister-in-law Dorothy Harris of London, Ontario, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by brothers Fredrick, William, Nelson, Harold and Charles Harris and sister Ruth Hannan.

passed away peacefully at Elliott Nursing Home in Guelph, on Friday November 15th , 2002 surrounded by her family in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Woods (1974) Loved mother of Arlene (Harold) Hall, of Elora, Eleanor (Bill) Watson, of Guelph and Mary Jo (Marley) Rutherford, of Brampton. Dear sister of Mildred (Ken) Warmington, of Fergus. Cherished grand mother of ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Bertha will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Job and Maggie Ransom and sisters Mary (Harold) Cox, Elizabeth (Sinclair) Ross, Florabel (George) Ostic and brothers Melvin and Wilson and son-in-law Bill Watson. Bertha was active most of her life in Ontario and Fergus Women's Institute, as well as the Melville United Church Women's League. MINAROVICH, Betty Marie (nee Mannerow) - of Elora, Ontario, passed away peacefully, after an illness, at home on Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at 71 years of age.
Predeceased by her husband, Felix Bernard, she will be missed by her daughters Stephanie and Lisa, her mother Verna Cleeves, her sister Marjorie Halls, and brother Bill Mannerow.
At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Presently, her daughters are accepting visitors at her home in Elora. Memorial donations may be made to the Elora Centre for the Arts.
Born near Chesley, Ontario, Betty grew up in southern Ontario. She later moved to Turkey were she taught, met her future husband, and developed her passion for antiques and Middle Eastern culture. Back in Canada, she became a teacher at Centre Wellington District High School from 1965 to 1988, and a well-known advocate for the arts community. Betty has touched countless lives of students, teachers, volunteers, and friends. Her hospitality and savvy wit will be dearly missed by so many.

passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at Eden House Nursing Home on Sunday August 17, 2003 in her 77th year. Loving and devoted wife to Albert Sobol of Wellington Terrace. Caring mother of Murray Sobol of Elora, Donna Milne and husband Michael of Singapore, Pat Brown and husband Ron of Guelph, Ed Sobol and wife Betty of Ariss, Margaret Torrance and husband Ron of Fergus, Peter Sobol and wife Pat of Sauble Beach, James Sobol and wife Kathy of Fergus. Treasured grandmother of 18 grandchildren: Roger Milne, Dennis Milne, and wife Stephanie, Peter Milne, Malanie Mitchell, Alison Dickinson, and husband Shane, Rob Brown, Jon Sobol and wife Wendy, Matt, Jeff, and Mike Sobol, Stephen Torrance and wife Julie, Paul and Ann Torrance, Carrie Sobol Cossey, Tricia Sobol, Kelly Sobol-Cudney, Jamie and Adam Sobol. Dearest great grandmother of Connor and Jamie Milne, Alyssa and Faith Mitchell, Daniel and Emily Cossey, Courtney and Tristan Cudney. Cherished sister of Arlene Bridge and her late husband Roy. Betty will be sadly missed by her special friends Helen Lawlor and Helen Duffield as well as many more lifetime friends from the U.C.W. and S.W.I. and the Eramosa community. ANDERSON: William Charles (Bill)
passed away at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Saturday November 2nd, 2002, aged 85 years. Bill served overseas in the Canadian Medical Corps during the Second World War and was a lifetime resident of Elora. Lovingly remembered by his sister Jean Callaway of Inverhaugh. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews and his 2 grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Frances, 2 brothers Albert and Jim and his sister Ethel.

It is with great sorrow that his family announces the death of Bill, age 75, after a long and difficult illness. Bill, died peacefully at home, his family by his side, on the quite fall morning of October 21, 2002. Bill will be forever remembered with love, by his wife Frances.
