passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Monday July 1, 2002. Donna J. Ford, in her 58th year. Beloved friend and partner of Walter Mitchell. Mother of Leanne of Guelph and Bryon and his fiancée Christina of Guelph and also loved by Walters children Marlene Raymond of Caledon East and Paul Mitchell of Kitchener. Grandmother to Sarah and Hannah Raymond. Survived by her brother George Bruce and his wife Susan of Eden Mills, and sister-in-law Judy Ford of Langley B.C. Predeceased by her parents William and Alberta Bruce and one daughter Christina Peace (1966).
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2002, at 2:00 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus. A reception will follow in the Wellington Room of the Funeral Home. Following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis at the St. Joseph's Hospital & Home in Guelph on Monday June 9th, 2003. Donna Warmington (Brydges) of Fergus, aged 54 years. Loving mother of Jason and his wife Patty of Elora, and Lori and her partner Jen of Cambridge. Dearest grandmother of Maren. Loved sister of Geoff, Carl and Lyle, all of Calgary, and beloved daughter of George and Lillah Brydges of Calgary. Dear Aunt of T.J. and Jesse. Donna is also survived by her former husband Stephen of Elora and a host of other family members in England.

Fussner, Dorothy
Peacefully on Friday May 23, 2003 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital Fergus, age 94 years. Beloved mother of Rosemary and her husband Jack Andrews of Fergus. Predeceased by her husband Bernard and her sister Mary Rheinwald. Dorothy was born on March 29, 1909 in Bronx New York were she lived her whole life until 1991 when she immigrated to Canada. Dorothy was a teacher in New York for 31 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David Street, South Fergus, on Saturday June 7, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. A reception will follow the service in the Wellington Room at the funeral home. If desired donations may be made to the Wellington Terrace or Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
Penson, Dorothy Mildred (nee Sawyer)- After a courageous struggle with Alzheimer's disease, Dorothy passed away at the Eden House Nursing Home in Eden Mills, on August 3rd, 2003, at the age of 76 years.
Dorothy was born in Toronto on November 3rd 1926 to the late Frederick Lindsay Sawyer and Mildred Florence Sawyer (nee Simpson). Dot was the beloved wife of the late David Penson (1969). Dear mother to Douglas Raymond Penson and his wife Judy; Lynn Baine, and her husband John; Karen Fries and her husband Steve. Nana will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren: Paula, Adam, and Ashley Penson, Amanda and Melanie Baine; Ryan and Sarah Fries. Dorothy is survived by her brother Lloyd Sawyer and his wife Orma of Sauble Beach, and her brother Gerald Sawyer and his wife Miriam of Wellington.
Dorothy was employed many years as a school bus driver in Georgetown, and more recently as a receptionist at the Buck Animal Hospital in Waterloo. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Eden House, Dorothy's home for the last seven years. Their support gave our family great solace in knowing she was well cared for daily. Dorothy will be fondly remembered for her delicious cooking, her great pool parties, her love of dogs, her beautiful afghans, and her baby blankets.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5th, 2003 from 7-9 pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, August 6th, in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a reception at Doug and Judy's home (770 St. David Street S, Fergus) Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval, Ontario, August 6, at 3 pm. Expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be appreciated.
WATT: Dorothy May
passed away suddenly at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Thursday October 2nd, 2003, aged 89 years. Dorothy was a longtime resident of Elora having moved to the area in 1955.
Sadly missed by her children Bill Watt and his wife Shirley of Saskatoon, Sask., Barry Watt and his wife Sharon of Fairview, Alberta, Gary Watt and his wife Evelyn of Elora, Maribelle Watt and her husband Gary Halley of Kitchener, and Darwinlee Watt and his wife Donna of Fergus. Also missed by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Survived by one niece and two nephews. Predeceased by her husband Winston in 1992, her sister Vivian Mills and her infant daughter Dorothy.

Doug Clayton of Fergus age 61 years, Beloved companion of Donna Hutchison, of Fergus. Loved father of John and his wife Heather of R. R. 4 Fergus, Kevin and his wife Jackie of Wasaga Beach, and Mike and his friend Harmony of Guelph. Dearly loved by his grandchildren Nolan, Abby, and Anika. Dear son of Jack Clayton of Cannington. Dear brother of Norm, Dave, Marilynne and Faye. Doug is also survived by a number nieces and nephews and other family members. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. MacInnes: Douglas Francis
It is with profound sadness that Doug's family announces his passing at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Thursday June 19, 2003 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Barbara, his best friend for over 46 years.
Our dad will be deeply missed by Scott and his wife Rozanna of Kingston, Rod of Scarborough, Leanne and her husband Dave Warren of Ariss and Andrea. Dearest grandfather of Leyna and Bethany, Shane, Calvin and Nicolette Warren, Brooke and Tessa; his step-grandchildren Theresa (Darren Hicks), Lee Ann (Shane Flake), Reem and Amr Galal; and his step-great-grandson Erik Flake. Sadly missed by his brother Jim (Dawn), his sisters Edna Merrett and Marilyn (Philip Turmaine), sister-in-law Kathleen (Gary Tadashore), brothers-in-law Bill Gavin (Elaine), Pat Gavin and many nieces and nephews. Doug will be joining his beloved grandson, Joshua Warren; and is also predeceased by his parents Gordon and Esther, his sister Dorothy Parr, his brother Gordon and his brothers-in-law Frank Gavin, Stan Merrett and Claude Parr.
Barbara will truly miss her traveling companion and soulmate. He will be fondly remembered for his great devotion to his family, his love of fly fishing and his musical talents. His kindness and unique sense of humour were an essential part of his character and will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. A private family Interment service will follow. A tree will also be planted in Doug's memory with a notice to follow at a later date.
