VOSBURGH: Jacob Michael
passed away saved in the loving arms of Jesus on November 12, 2002, at Hamilton Health Sciences, McMaster Hospital, Hamilton, aged 13 years.
Jacob was an active grade 9 student at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus. He was a member of the Junior Boys Volleyball Team and Guelph Football. He will be remembered as a coach and friend to many kids at J.D. Hogarth School.
Sadly missed by his parents Anne-Marie and Peter and his brother Matthew. Also missed by his grandparents Lucky and Dick Vosburgh of Guelph and Frances Lake of Guelph. Jacob is remembered by his uncles and aunts: Steve Vosburgh and his wife Julie of Waterloo, Murray Lake and his wife Suzanne of Rockwood, Greg Lake and his wife Pat of Guelph, James Jezioro of Toronto and Michael Lake of Milton. Also remembered by his dear cousins: Rachel, Nolan, Mitchell, Emma, Megan, Leslie and Joshua. Jacob will be missed by his many good friends. Predeceased by his grandfather.

Young, James Lindsay. 1923-2003, H.M.C.S. Haida, 1943-1945, died peacefully at his home in Elora on Monday April 21st . Husband of Marion (McCormack) , dear dad of Catharine Plue, Deborah (Barry) Baisden and Peter (Kathleen) Young. Grampie of Aaron and Kristin Plue, Alena and Gregory Baisden, Beth, Whitney and Stephanie Young. Brother-in-law of Charles E. Sheppard and uncle of Barbara, Lindsay and David Sheppard. A former resident of Georgetown and Windermere, Jim was actively involved in boating, gardening, and above all his home and family. Cremation followed by a memorial service for the family only. Suddenly on Monday March 10th 2003 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus in her 56th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim England of Fergus. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our mother Jean Rogers who passed away at the Grey-Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound, suddenly with her family at her side on Sunday September 8th, 2002. Jean Rogers of Salem, age 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Jim Rogers (1998). Loving mother of Sheila and her husband Frank Dickinson of Elora, Linda and her husband Herb Dolinsek of Elora, Gary and his wife Jane of Elora, Joanne and her husband Kim Beirnes of Salem and Lori and her husband Wolf Wietzke of Salem. Beloved wife of the late Carman Waind (1981). Loving mother of Paul (Barbara) of Hamilton, Hugh (Phyllis) of Elora and Mary Waind of Elora. Loved grandmother of Mark, Matthew, Thomas, Catherine (Watters) and William and dear loved by her 10 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by sisters Marion Johnston, and Alison Maitland and brother John B. Maitland. Jean was blessed to have enjoyed a active life with family and friends up until two weeks prior to her death. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur, on Wednesday December 11, 2002 in her 91st year. Jean will be remembered by many of her former students for her years of teaching in the area. She was a longtime faithful member of Dracon and St. John's United Churches and a lifetime member of Living Springs Women's Institute. Dearly missed by her husband William F. (Bill) Wilson of 61 years. Mom will be remembered by Myrna Austen and her husband Harry of Cookstown, Joanne Lystar and her husband Jim of London and Doreen Wilson and her husband Ron Melanson of Calgary. Grandma is missed by Paul, Michael, Heather, Chris, Kimberley, Lindy, Tricia, Kyle and Bret and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Donald. KING: Jessica Robin (Jessie)
passed away suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday June 1st, 2002, on her way to work at the Ben Wallace Racing Stable. Jessie King of Belwood, in her 22nd year. Jessie is sadly missed by her parents Terry and Sherry King of Belwood and Janice Burch of Erin Township. Also missed by her sisters Candice, Raquel, and Hailey, all at home and her brothers Artie and Adam Stenning of Cambridge. Jessie will be remembered dearly by her grandparents, her several aunts, uncles, cousins and her many wonderful friends. Jessie graduated from Arthur Highschool in 1998 and from Kemptville Agricultural College (U of G) with her Equine Diploma in 2000. She will be fondly remembered for her deep love of horses and was a member of the High County Pony club. She competed in many horse shows and fall fairs throughout the area. Jessie was also a very talented writer. Her hundreds of poems about the people and events of her life will be treasured by all.

MERRIFIELD, JOAN (formerly Enns, nee Blair).
After a lengthy illness, Joan passed away on at the London University Hospital on Sunday January 19th, 2003. Daughter of Florence and the late W.J.H. (Jack) Blair. Beloved wife of Leslie Merrifield of Belwood. Devote mother of Richard Enns. Dear sister of John and his wife Lena-Marie and David and his wife Jane. Joan was a kind aunt to Jennifer Horst (Troy), Jeffrey Blair (Angela) and great nephews, Sam, Max, Jeanette Blair (Leslie) and Graham Blair (Emily). Pre-deceased by a brother Mark and a nephew Michael. She was former volunteer and employee of the Kitchener Public Library, a volunteer in the Palliative Care Unit of Grand River Hospital at Freeport, a member of the RCCO, and a associate of the Sisters of St. John the Evangelist. After a lengthy career as organist at Parkminster United Church, Joan became a devoted and active parishioner of St. John's Anglican Church, Elora. The family will receive their friends at the St. John the Evangelist Church, corner of Smith St. and Henderson St. in Elora. From 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 25. Following the visitation a memorial service will be held in the church at 2:00 p.m. the same day. With Canon R. Hulse officiating at the service. Interment of the urn will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto on Tuesday morning. Remembrance may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus.
