LAWRENCE: Leonard L.
Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday December 4, 2002, aged 78 years. Len was an active member of the Boy Scouts of Canada for over 40 years and a faithful member of the United Church. He was a longtime Employee of APV Canada Ltd.
Loved and missed by his wife Mary of 56 years. Also missed by his son David and his wife Lorraine of Mississauga and his daughter Judy Boudreau and her husband Ted of Cambridge. Grandpa is remembered by Matthew and Taylor Lawrence and Sarah and Jessica Boudreau. Also remembered by his sisters Vivian Carter and her husband Stan of Kingsville and Marion Monk of Windsor.
Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his sisters Elizabeth, Dorothy and Carol and his brothers Alvin, Richard and Donald. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 9th, 2002 at 11:00 AM from the St. John's United Church in Belwood. Rev. Rienk Vlietstra officiating. A reception will be held in the hall at Pine Meadows. After a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday October 20th, 2002 at the Grand River hospital K-W Health Centre, in his 61st year. Lou beloved husband of Norma of Fergus. Loving father of Jeff and his wife Lisa of Fergus, and Richard and his wife Mary-Lynn of Fergus. Dear Grandpa of Brianne, Travis, and Landon. Memorial Service will be held at Graham A. Peacefully with his family at his side, on Monday February 24th, 2003 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Lyle Rowe of Fergus in his 77th year. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Willa Marie (Martin) April 5th, 2001. Loving father of David and his wife Sherry of Fergus, William (Bill) and his wife Cheryl of Fergus, Cathy and her husband Mark Guthrie of Collingwood, Karen and Scott Gear of Fergus and Ken and his wife Jane of Fergus. Loving grandfather of Carla, Tawnya, Kyle Rowe, Heather, Becky, and Suzie Rowe, Thomas and Robbie Guthrie, Brad and Chantelle Gear, and Justine and Kristen Rowe. Also survived by his sister Helen Hogarth, Lucille Sutherland, Jean Campbell and Mary Tuck Buchar. Lyle was also loved by many relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his sisters Alva Deans and Gladys Gilchrist and his parents Harry and Myrtle Rowe. His family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 280 ST. Dear grandmother of Chris and his wife Michelle, Kelly and her husband Craig, Melanie, James, Kevin and Michael. Great grandmother of Coral, Cameron, and Riley. passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace Home for the Aged, Elora, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband A. Norman Russell (Sandy). Loving mother of David and his wife Dorothy of Huntsville, Alexandra of Fergus, Christine Taylor of R.R. #4 Fergus and Douglas of Fergus. Also remembered by her grandchildren, Duncan (Krista), Sandy and Anna. Predeceased by her parents Wallace and Annie Vallery and her sisters Jean, Mary and Jessie. Of the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home, formerly of Toronto, died a gentle death, as she lived, on Friday March 7, 2003 at the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home, Elora.
Heartfelt thanks to Joy Neely, her kind caregiver for many years and the staff of the Wellington Terrace for their care and comfort. Sadly missed and always remembered by her niece Dorothy Ames of Elora.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marge and Archie Jenkin's life will be held when the roses bloom in the spring.

Page, Gertrude Marie (nee Arnott) Peacefully , surrounded by love on August 27, 2002. at 2:30 a.m. at her dauhgter's home in Elora, where she had lived for almost 10 years. Born at the home farm just east of Conn on January 19, 1913, she was the fifth of nine children of the late Alfred and Gertrude Arnott. Loving and supporting mother of Regina and her husband and her husband Alden MacEachern . Loving and fiercley proud grandma of Craig. Her husband and knight in shining armour, Reginald A.G. Page predeceased her on March 12, 1971 and her first son-in-law John Sukosd on September 10, 1989. Also predeceased by her 2 brothers and their wives Harry "Al" of Detroit, Leonard and Hilda of Barrie 3 sisters, Fledda and her husband Howard Hillis of Monticello and GrandValley, Margery, who was a missionary in Haiti for 35 years and Shirley Newton of Grimsby and also brothers-in-law Wes Nevins (Mississauga) and Gordon Howes (Guelph) and Tommy Thompson (Toronto) and neices and nephews. She is survived by 3 sisters Margaret Howes of Guelph, Alfa Thompson of Bala , and Ida Nevins of Mississauga and a large number of nieces and nephews. One of the first women to enlist in the C.W.A.C. she served in Canada, England, Holland (where she managed the troup leave centres in Amsterdam for almost 2 years ) and Germany. Retiring as Captain, after the War. A part of her heart remained in Frobisher Bay (Iqualit) where she moved with her husband and daughter on August 18, 1959. She Immediately adopted the area and the Inuit people and they her and her family. Funeral Service to be held at Knox Presbyterian Church Conn on Saturday August 31, 2002 at 2:00 pm. Also missed by her great grandchildren Eric, Gregory, David, Ryan, Gillian, Kyle and Lorene. Survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by her 1st husband Elmer Hooper (1935), her 2nd husband Franklin Dingwall (1989), her sisters Edna and Sadie and her brother Andress.
