At his home on Saturday, October 2, 2004. Loving husband of Kay (O'Brien) Scott for 46 years. Loved father of Joel Scott (Sandra), of Guelph. Sadly missed by Blake, Brandon and Ally. Dear brother of Marion Howard (George) of St. George, Arthur Scott (Margaret), Dale Scott (Anne) of Nova Scotia and the late Inez Van Buskirk. Always remembered by his brother-in-law James Van Buskirk of Goderich. Greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Albert Stuart
At his residence on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004. Albert James Stuart has gone to be with the Lord at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Marie (Kelly) Stuart for 60 years. Loved father of Dave Stuart and his wife Carolyn, Ron Stuart and his wife Diane, all of Guelph, Allen Stuart and his wife Janice of Toronto and the late Brian Stuart (1955). Proud grandpa of Kerri, Andrew, Erin, Bryan, Joshua, Rebecca and Sarah. Great grandpa of Ayden. Dear brother of Norman Stuart and his wife Jean of Guelph, and Ernest Stuart and his wife Jean of Unionville. Albert is predeceased by his brother Alex Stuart, sister Elizabeth Pinder and nephew Barry Stuart. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Albert served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve during WWII. Thomas (Tom) Matthews
Peacefully, with his family by his side at the Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, October 3, 2004. Thomas Henry Matthews at the age of 86 years was the beloved husband of Frances (Jessett) Matthews. Loved father of Ray Matthews and his wife, Sharon of Haliburton and Judy Smith and her husband Keith of Waterloo, England. He was the proud grandpa of Jeffrey, David (Jenn); Jake, Toby, Jennie and Tom. Great-grandpa of Jonathan, Jocelyn, Caitland, Chloe, Luke, Eric and Kyla. Dear brother of Marjorie Smith of England, the late John Matthews and Barbara Ewart. Tom was a veteran of the British Armed Forces, serving in the 12th Battalion, 6th Airborne division during WWII. He was a longtime member of the ANAF Club and Waverley Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 361 G.R.C. Taken home to be with his Lord after a long struggle with Esophageal Cancer on Thursday, October 7, 2004, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Margje Steller (Vanderwel). Loving and precious father of Ferdinand Richard Steller and his wife Karen of Willowdale and Willemina MacKenzie and her husband Kevin of Markham. Special Opa of Henry and Emily Steller and Laura and John Collins. Dear brother of Hendrieke Steller of Don Mills, brother in law of Henk Vanderwel and his wife Jannie of Cobourg, Riet Vanderwel of Cobourg, Johanna Wielhouwer of Chatham, and Bill Vanderwel and his wife Sylvia of Sarnia. Mary Stewart passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, October 10, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Charles Roberts Stewart (1994). Dearest Mom of Diane Masson and her husband Spence of Guelph. Loved Nana of Katrina, Tanya, and Ryan. Mary will be sadly missed by her sister Elizabeth Keggans of Guelph, and brothers Maxwell & Hugh Keggans, both of Scotland. Predeceased by brothers John and Harry and sister Meg. Ardena Marie Hawkins
Hawkins, Ardena Marie Peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer, at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney, Cape Breton, N.S. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, surrounded by her family and friends. . Ardena Hawkins of Bras d’Or was in her 51st year. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of Marie (Jessome) Carey and the late Teddy Carey, of St. Catharines, Ont. Survived by her husband, Joseph, sons Joe (Tanya) Martinovic of North Sydney, and Cory of Bras d’Or. Sadly missed by her sisters Cathy (Lawrence) MacMullin, Denise (Billy) MacPherson and Alana (John) Arp; and by her brothers, David (Louise), Perry (Lesley), Mark (Lorraine), Paul (Elaine) all of St. Catharines. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Ardena was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Bras d’Or, was an active member of the CWL, as well as a devoted community volunteer. Predeceased by her father Teddy and brother Teddy Jr. She was a special, loving person and will fondly be remembered by those whose lives she has touched. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 15th, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines. Officiated by Monsignor Wayne Kirkpatrick P.H. under the direction of Gilchrist Chapel, McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home. Always remembered by his 12 grandchildren, Christine, Josh, Christopher, Claire, Philip, Jeffrey, Richard (Dawn), Cody, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Georgia and Sarah. Great grandfather of Kale, Mason and Darius. Dear brother of Del Kirk of Truro, N.S. McGee, Gerald E. ''Jerry'' at the Guelph General Hospital, Guelph on Thursday, November 4, 2004. Jerry McGee at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Marion (Wilson) McGee for 53 years. Dear brother of Kathleen Tessier of St. Catharines, Mary Barrett of London, John “Jack” McGee (Louise) of Guelph, Edith Chapman (Dave), Lawrence McGee (Louvain), all of St. Catharines, Darcy McGee, Robert McGee Sr. (Gladys), all of Guelph, the late Anson, George and Ruth. Always remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed brother-in-law of Chuck and Ann Rawson, Emily McGee and Julie Lamore. Goodman, Marion Geneve

Loved mother of Lynda Budd (Howie) of Waterloo, and Clayton Goodman (Tara) of Toronto. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jeff Budd, Josh Budd, James Goodman and Michael Goodman (Renee). Loved great-grandmother of Jessica, Jennifer, Emily, Christopher, Matthew, Andrew and Meagan. Dear sister of Joan Tost (Ron) of Orillia, the late Edward Clark, Arthur Clark, Lucille McDowell, Muriel Hewitt, Kathleen Beaven and Victoria Clark. Marion was an avid gardener and animal lover. Paul Norman Lloyd
April 11 1951 – November 14 2004 Passed away, peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, November 14, 2004. Paul was born in Palmerston, Ontario, April 11 1951, Son of Thomas Norman Lloyd (1991) and the former Marjorie (nee McEwing) Lloyd (1990). Beloved husband and friend of Hilda (nee Oldenburger) Lloyd for 5 years, and best friend of Sandra (nee Heinmiller) Lloyd for 29 years. Loving father of Julie Thiessen and her husband Christopher of St. Catherines, Bradley and his fiance Karsha Lalande of Kingston, Lisa Lloyd of Palmerston, and Stepfather to Cheryl Loree of St. Catherines and Mark (Steven) Loree of Gravenhurst. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Megan Bowman Loree. Sadly missed by his special companion, his dog Freddy. Dear Son- in- law of Albert and Johanna Oldenburger of Wellesley. Dear brother of Tom and his wife Marie of Harriston, Joanne and her husband John Brown of R.R. #2 Belwood and Suzanne and her husband Boyce Stevens of Harriston. Brother-in-law of Janet and Delmar Schultz of Millbank, Walter Oldenburger of New Hamburg, Dick and Margaret Oldenburger of Waterloo, David and Connie Oldenburger of Tavistock, and Joanne and Dennis Gerber of Brunner. Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews will also miss him. His many friends will remember Paul with humour, respect and affection.
